What I like:

• The packaging of the soap, lotion and face cream is simple. The box of the soap is sleek, handy and unique. The soap is sealed in plastic upon opening the box, guaranteed freshness. The jar of face cream is sturdy and has a plastic lid with spatula. Thumbs up for the tiny spatula, first time to encounter a face cream where I'll be scooping the product without the use of bare hands :)
• The special soap and face cream box contains interesting quotes that I'm sure will inspire you every time you use the product.
• The scent of the lotion and the face cream is powdery but mild while the scent of the soap is sweet but not overpowering.
• The soap produces a good lather and doesn't melt fast while the lotion and face cream have the same thick consistency so a little amount of product goes a long way.
• The face cream is easy to apply, non-greasy and no heavy feel after application.
• The lotion is easily absorbed and doesn't feel icky and greasy even on a hot summer day.
• The price- it's very affordable for a set of three products that effectively lighten dark marks on my thigh.
• There's a certain glow on my skin after using the face cream and the lotion.
• The face cream and lotion contains Spf 30. 
• This set made my skin supple, smooth and soft to touch!
• The set is very easy to use.
• No irritation, allergies, breakouts, or whatsoever.

This trio is perfect to maintain skin tone this season and if you're afraid of sun exposure while using a whitening product because it has SPF 30 but it is still best to use sunblock for added skin protection. Using the products as instructed is the best way to whiten skin in as fast as 2 weeks.

     You've seen my photos, it's true to the claim of getting stubborn dark marks. I'm also surprised because I really had a hard time before on how to lighten pesky mosquito bites on my thighs and legs.      I rarely get coughs, colds, and flu. I guess it's because I take vitamin c every day. I take around 500- 1,000 mg of vitamin c alongside with the fruits and vegetables that I eat. There are so many kinds of vitamin c today and sodium ascorbate is gaining popularity because they dubbed it as the "non-acidic" vitamin c. 

     According to vitaminfoundation.org- Sodium ascorbate is a form of vitamin C that has been bound to the mineral salt sodium. Fleece vest jackets 

     Preppy clothes like button-downs and microfleece jackets is a fair game for most seasons, including the summers, making it grounds for any good outerwear investment. Also, these jackets, apart from promoting style and comfort, enables the wearer to accommodate multiple items courtesy of zip pockets featured on most of them. 

     For medium levels of activity during the winter season or for a season such as fall or spring, a mid-weight fleece jacket will suffice. A lighter jacket will provide flexibility for active sports play, while heavy sized jackets should be reserved for the busy winter days. 

Biker jackets 

     Biker jackets are adorned all over, and 2015 is no different. Look for a style featuring flashy accents and contrast sleeves. Another style that made the biker silhouette again is the jacket featuring embroidery in shiny paillettes and muted colors. 

     Seek biker jackets in tailored silhouettes and dark colors, featuring unique embroidery work. You can wear it with a fit and flare dress and narrow panel silhouettes. Choose plain fabrics for the rest of the attire to enable the embellishment to stand out.

Product Review: Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner

     Hello dearies! I'm sure you've seen beauty bloggers raved about Pantene 3 Minute Miracle 10 conditioner and I'm also one of them who experienced great results after my first use. As much as possible, I want to share my thoughts after finishing the tube because I want to see the long term- positive and negative effects of the product that I'm road-testing. 

     It's been weeks since I received a 70 ml tube of Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Total Damage Care 10 variant. I emptied the tube after 10 days and I can say that on my 5th day of use, I saw my hair became shinier and the ends were softer and smoother. I have color-treated hair that's why I worry about the obvious frizz, dryness and split ends once the color starts to fade. Fitness First's #PushYourLimits Outdoor Challenge

     Eat clean, go to the gym and look mean! I always want to live by this mantra, live a healthy lifestyle and exercise at least thrice a week for the rest of my life. But TIME is the number one excuse, always an excuse why I can't commit to this kind of lifestyle. In this day and age, having a fit and fabulous body is hard to maintain, let alone achieve. Busy schedules and fast-paced lifestyles make it difficult for people to eat healthy and find time to exercise. 

     My mother is a member of Fitness First Club Philippines and I have seen what one of their fitness club looks like. It's been ages since I visited their SM Fairview branch and methinks now is the right time to rekindle my love for fitness :) I exercise at home but it's not enough because I want something new, something that will challenge my muscles in multiple directions. Fitness First's #PushYourLimits Outdoor Challenge

     Workout and push your limits even if you're not wearing your gym outfit, this scenario happened yesterday and that's what Fitness First wanted us to experience. Fitness First stands by the fact that exercise is essential to one’s health and that having a hectic lifestyle is no excuse not to get fit. That is why Fitness First created freestyle areas in their clubs which allow you to exercise and move with purpose. They focus on dynamic movement training, movements that will challenge one's muscles in multiple directions, combining as many muscle groups as possible to challenge you and get you moving in the way nature intended.

     The event happened at the Bonifacio High Street Activity Center in Global City Taguig yesterday with the objective of showing how exercise can be incorporated in everyday tasks and without the need for exercise machines. 

     There are four different fitness areas to test one’s strength, endurance, flexibility, and speed in a very fun and engaging way. Bloggers and invited guests together with Fitness First ambassadors and celebrities got the chance to see how they measured up against what an average person could accomplish. What’s more, the challenges could be completed without the need to be in workout clothes. We took the outdoor challenges wearing these outfits!

     To test their speed, participants were engaged in drills using the agility ladder. This is the most effective tool for training speed and improving footwork. 

     For endurance, Kaye and I was asked to lift shopping bags progressively being filled with Gatorade bottles after every round. This type of weight training workout improves your ability to do everyday chores such as carrying a bag of groceries or lifting your young child. From 3 Gatorade bottles up to 16 bottles (8 each bag) I survived the challenge but barely felt my arms after though. Hahaha!

     Participants also tested how strong they were by the number of times they could flip large tires. The entire body needs to be engaged when you flip the tire, which is perfect for improving over-all strength and conditioning.

     Lastly, Carlo, Rochelle and I tried a series of progressive Vinyasa poses. Vinyasa has both mental and physical benefits, synchronized breathing relaxes the mind and the movements significantly improve flexibility. The 3 of us passed the test and it's soo hard since it's my first time to try these Yoga poses. I literally felt the stretch and muscle burning after each poses.

     All these challenges were performed under the expert guidance of Fitness First Fitness Instructors. For every fitness challenge completed, each participant received a raffle entry for a chance to win free 3-month memberships. What’s more, free health checks were made available to all guests. 

     But more than just participating in the challenges, Fitness First encouraged the participants to push their limits, to try and exceed what their bodies could normally endure. After the challenges I realized the importance of including exercise as part of my everyday routine and that exercise can be fun and can be done anytime without the need for exercise machines. Mommies like me can benefit a lot from simple exercises that can be done at home and at Fitness First Club Philippines!
