     There are times that I worry whenever I see my son drinks water from that blue gallon beside our refrigerator.      The news on Dengue here in our country is very alarming. Every month, there are cases of Dengue being reported on national television, I know that there are also other cases unreported and it saddens me because some don't get the proper treatment during those times that Dengue Vaccine is not yet available.      There's a place where once you enter inside, you'll experience eureka moment. Only positive and happy vibes because everything you'll see inside that place will make you smile and giggle with laughter.      Tickles is not new to me. I've been visiting their Fairview Terraces branch once every month to see what's new in their shelves. I always find myself smiling whenever I'm inside the store because of super cute and unique finds that caters to all gender and ages. Great news! They've opened their flagship store at SM Megamall two weeks ago with a circus-themed shop that is so inviting, it's like fun never stops once you're inside the store.      I hate mosquitoes and the unsightly bites they give. I'm prone to mosquito bites and it always turn dark after a few days. Well, this is my dilemma physically with insect bites but what's more dangerous and frustrating is the deadly virus these mosquitoes inflict and bring inside the victims body. Here in the tropics, the rainy season is also the season for Dengue, a potentially deadly, yet all too common mosquito borne disease. Last year there were over 200,000 cases of Dengue fever reported in the Philippines , and almost 600 were fatalities.

     What is alarming is that this was way up from the 121,000 reported instances in 2014. More alarming still is that just this year, the DOH has reported 70,000 Dengue cases from January to July, the supposed lean Dengue months, this is 19% more than the same period last year. It is now more imperative than ever that measures be taken to curb Dengue, and the best way to do that is to control the numbers of Dengue Mosquitoes. So how do you deal with those pesky mosquitoes?
