     Althea Korea turned 2 last July and it rained blue beauty boxes all over Asia and to countries where Althea Korea ships their products. There were so many surprises in store last July for both K Beauty fans and beauty bloggers who were called Althea Birthday Squad.

     I'm one of the few bloggers who joined the squad in spreading the birthday cheer. I received Althea’s Limited Edition Birthday Cake Box with DIY cake box deco, a birthday card, and gift pack which consisted of my haul.      I was in high school, I often hear my mom talking to my titas who live abroad about makeup brands that are not available locally. Two of my aunts work at Macy's that's why if there's a new shade of lipstick from my mom's favorite brand, she will just tell it to them but it will take a year before the balikbayan boxes will arrive at our doorsteps.

The Manila’s IT-girl Liza Soberano surprised her fans in an exclusive meet-and-greet activity at SM North EDSA by disguising herself as a Maybelline beauty advisor.

     During the #MakeItHappenwithLiza event, Liza gracefully entertained and interacted with unsuspecting customers who were browsing the Maybelline counter while waiting for her on stage. Liza took on the role of being a Maybelline Beauty Advisor, allowing her to face customers, give them beauty advices, and recommend the right Maybelline products perfect for their needs. Product Review: Mischka Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain

     Before I learned how to use blush powders and creams on my cheeks, lip & cheek tints are my best friend. I was in college back then when a Thai brand of makeup sells cheap but effective products and one of them was my favorite cheek tint. I will not name it and I presume that if you're a cheek tint gal, you have tried it too.

     Anyhoo, late last year I decided to rekindle my love for lip & cheek tints when I saw photos of Korean stars on my Facebook feed. Most of them are sporting the no makeup look with only flushed cheeks, bitten lips, and natural looking brows.      Sharing with you a quick review of Natura Organics Cosmetic Tools Shampoo that I've been using for months now to clean my makeup brushes. I only use three brushes to date that's why cleaning is easy as long as I have a buddy that will make the bristles squeaky clean in just 1-2-3!
