anti-aging supplement

Feature: Rosy Peel Plus

Photoaging or the damage the sun does to the skin can result in wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots and melasma and overall early aging. As much as we love the sun, we do not like what it can do to our skin.
Excessive sun exposure can dry your hair and even burn your scalp. Harmful effects of the sun can be avoided by always wearing sunscreen when going out and protective clothing if you know you’re going to be exposed for long periods of time. Avoid sun exposure from 10am to 3pm because this is when sunburn-causing ultraviolet rays are at their strongest.

Aside from outer protection, nourishing the body from the inside can help. Vitamin C is one of the vitamins that I religiously take every day. I’ve tried different brands before and one of them is Rosy Peel- a natural vitamin c supplement that contains fruit extracts. Fast forward today, it's making a comeback as Rosy Peel Plus. Now with a boost of collagen, this all-natural supplement is here to give you a healthier, younger and brighter skin plus a boost in summer protection so your skin and hair stay healthy in any weather. More information about Rosy Peel Plus after the jump!

Product Review: DHC Vitamin C 60 Days Supply

Thursday, January 20, 2022

We are now on the second year of this pandemic and most of us have adapted the new normal way of living. I presume that you already mastered the basics when it comes to Covid-19 safety protocols and have strictly imposed these in your homes. The pandemic has taught me a lot when it comes to health and wellness and one of them is making sure that I take my daily dose of vitamins and supplements.

My number one vitamin on the list is vitamin c. This immune booster and powerful antioxidant can neutralize harmful radicals in the body. It helps heal wounds faster, fight coughs and colds to name a few that's why there's always a supply in my stash for a month or two. Having that said, I've tried different brands of vitamin c even before the pandemic that I also shared here on the blog. For this review, let me share my current brand of vitamin c from one of the favorite Japanese brands in the vitamin and supplement department, DHC (Daigaku Honyaku Center)- a Japanese manufacturer dealing in cosmetics and health food supplements headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. More information about DHC Vitamin C and my thoughts after using it for more than a year now below.

Product Review: Kabaya Collagen Gummy

Friday, February 12, 2021

Hello, dearies! I’ve been taking and reviewing collagen supplements for years now and late last year, I discovered a new, fun, and delicious way of taking it through chewing! Collagen gummy supplement is making a name in the anti-aging department these days. According to healthline.com, gummy vitamins per see are chewable vitamins that have a texture and taste similar to gummy candies. It comes in different flavors, colors, and shapes.

More popular with adults and kids these days because it's so convenient to take especially for those who are having a hard time ingesting vitamins and supplements because of their size or aftertaste. I can say that it's a great innovation for collagen supplement because, for those who's been taking it, the first thing that will make you cringe is the taste whether it's a flavored powder or liquid form. Anyhoo, it has been three months since I started taking this delicious and collagen packed gummy supplement and saw improvements in my skin already. Sharing a detailed review and why this is my new HG (Holy Grail) collagen supplement after the jump!

Product Review: KB Rosehips Vitamin C

Sunday, February 10, 2019

It's a no brainer that we all need Vitamin C to boost our immune system. Vitamin C is one of the vitamins that we need to protect us from free radicals. We can get our daily dose from the food that we eat especially from fruits and vegetables that are rich in Vitamin C. Another option is from food supplements containing ascorbic acid or sodium ascorbate.

Did you know that there are other forms of Vitamin C in the market today that can boost the immune system and beautify the skin at the same time? Yes, that's possible with Rosehip extract. I presume you've seen different skincare products containing rosehip extracts and its wonderful effects like brightening and toning. Rosehips now comes in a supplement form, thanks to KB Glutathione (Yumei Mise) for making the first rosehip capsule brand in the Philippines because taking vitamin c has never been this good. I already finished taking 1 box (100 capsules) of KB Rosehips that Cheska's Store sent me last year and sharing my thoughts after the jump.

Product Review: Meiji Amino Collagen Powder 2018

Wednesday, February 06, 2019

Hello dearies! Sharing my thoughts on the newest formulation of the infamous collagen brand- Meiji Amino Collagen Powder. If my memory serves me right, this is the 3rd time I'm going to review this collagen brand. I saw positive effects during the time I'm taking it that's why reviewing it again to see if it has the same results after finishing one can for a month.

I have high hopes with Japanese supplements as they have the strictest standards when it comes to the manufacturing process. They are constantly innovating to meet the demands of the consumers that's why I think they reformulated again for the third time because their supplement has one flaw- the odor of the formulations before. The heavens have heard my woes and yes, I have the answer to the questions now- does Meiji Amino Collagen tastes fishy? Read my thought below :)

Product Review: Blooming G (Borage Oil 500 mg Capsule)

Thursday, August 16, 2018

I've been reviewing health and beauty supplements for more than five years now. I can say that I've had a fair share of experience in the online world when it comes to whitening, anti-aging, and wellness department. Skin lightening is the main concern of modern Filipinas that's why glutathione supplements are selling like hotcakes here in our country. Next to skin lightening is anti-aging. More and more women are focusing on anti-aging these days. The search for the fountain of youth will start from skin care products, oral supplements, and dermatology treatments.

Lastly, wellness supplements for weight loss, vitamins, and anti-oxidants that give glowing skin are becoming popular nowadays because of the so-called "ang fresh mo teh" (looking fresh) or "blooming ka ngayon" (you are blooming) peg. Speaking of fresh and blooming, I'm so excited to share with you a skin care supplement that gives a natural skin moisturizing benefit and more (Yes more because it has a lot of benefits) from within. Enter Blooming-G (Borage Oil 500 mg Capsule), a promising health supplement for a blooming you :)

Product Review: NEW Meiji Amino Collagen Starter Kit [DISCONTINUED]

Tuesday, January 16, 2018

Hello, collagen supplement lovers! The most loved collagen brand- Meiji launched a new and improved version of their Amino Collagen that we all love. My heart skipped when I saw the new packaging but I panicked when I saw that they reduced the collagen content to only 1,000 mg per scoop. From 5,000 mg, now it's down to a small amount BUT it's still effective like the old one.

So if you're in search of the fountain of youth, Meiji is one of the brands that I'll recommend. It's effective and easy on the budget. Cheskas Store sent a 30-day supply of the New and Improved Meiji Amino Collagen for me to try and share my thoughts if it's worth the reformulation. Product Review: Vitapack 3-in-1 Beauty Pack

Monday, November 06, 2017

Multifunction products make life a breeze. From things we use every day to food that we eat- these products dubbed as 2-in-1 or 5-in 1 is a big help, especially for busy individuals. Having that said, there are also skin care products and oral supplements that can give more than one benefits in one packaging. Let me introduce to you Vitapack 3-in-1 Beauty Pack- whitening, slimming, and anti-aging product in one pack.

I always mention in my supplement posts that I already have fair skin, to begin with, that's why I gauge the results after taking it for full thirty days. I have uneven skin tone and prone to insect bites. Through the dark marks from those bites where I check regularly if my skin tone is changing while taking whitening supplements. Last month, our friends from Vitapack sent the 3-in-1 Beauty Pack variant for me to try and review. Continuation of this introduction after the jump :)

Product Review: DHC Collagen

Monday, August 28, 2017

I've known the brand DHC for a long time now because my cousin who lives in Japan said that it's a good brand. It's a brand of cheap yet effective food supplements ranging from nutritional, whitening, and anti-aging ones. They also have skin care products like the infamous DHC Cleansing Oil and DHC Eyelash Tonic.

Anyhoo, Cheska's Online Store sent me the trending supplement from DHC as of the moment- DHC Collagen last month to try. Collagen supplement is perfect for my age and it's one of the supplements that I need now as collagen production in the mid 30's starts to decline. Product Review: Ultra Green Coffee

Wednesday, August 09, 2017

Losing and maintaining weight is only a cup of coffee away. Well, that's what Ultra Green Coffee has known for aside from the fact that it has other health and wellness benefits. Cheskas Online Store sent me three pouches of Ultra Green Coffee to try and after taking this for roughly a month, I'm sharing my thoughts below.

Why I accepted this even though I have a normal weight? Well, it's because I want to maintain that weight and stay away from instant coffees sold in the market. I also want to complement my diet and exercise with a natural supplement like this slimming coffee because I have the tendency to gain weight easily and I have a sweet tooth. So without further ado, here's my take on Ultra Green Coffee :)

Product Review: Mosbeau Placenta White Advanced

Wednesday, May 31, 2017

If you're a long time user of whitening and anti-aging supplements, prolly you know that Japanese brands are effective no matter how much the price tag. They are also producing food supplements that have many ingredients per serving but contains a little of everything. Even though a capsule or tablet contains 1/4 or 1/2 of the competing brand, the effect is the same or at par with the competition.

I'm not a medical expert but I think Japanese's strict standard in their FDA department gives consumers safe and cost-effective products. One brand that's been trusted by Japanese for years now is Mosbeau and today I'll be sharing my thoughts on Mosbeau Placenta White Advanced after taking it for a month. Review details below :)

Product Review: Orihiro Most Chewable Collagen

Saturday, November 12, 2016

Hello dearies! Sharing with you my thoughts on Orihiro Most Chewable Collagen. Yep, you've read that right- chewable collagen. I know collagen users will rejoice because this supplement from Orihiro is chewable. It's easy to ingest and smells so yummy too because of peach flavor. The only downside of Orihiro Most Chewable Collagen is the collagen content.

I'm surprised to see that it only contains 400 mg of collagen for 2 tablets already. The required amount is 5,000 mg for ages 30 and above. Even though there's a small amount of collagen per serving size, I still saw a difference in my skin after taking it for two months. I guess the maximum results will be seen after consuming everything inside the bottle. So without further ado, here's my honest to goodness review of Orihiro Most Chewable Collagen supplement below :)

Product Review: Orihiro Placenta Collagen Powder

Monday, August 22, 2016

I'll be honest that aging is already taking its toll on me. I noticed some fine lines and wrinkles on my forehead and the pores around my nose got bigger. I'm not blaming aging because it's inevitable, it will haunt all of us but after attending events on skin care and aging, I've come to realized that I really need to be serious in this department so that it will come slowly.

I'm not getting any younger, I'll be 35 next year. I've read somewhere that one must invest in anti-aging skin care products at the age of 30 but now the trend is getting younger. From 25 down to 20! Yes, you read that right. If you're aiming for that 'age gracefully' motto, you need to start incorporating anti-aging skin care products and supplements. I've discovered an anti-aging supplement in the name of Orihiro Placenta Collagen Powder. This is a 2-in-1 anti-aging supplement that's also from Japan. More details on Orihiro Placenta Collagen Powder below :)

Product Review: Orihiro Placenta Collagen Powder
My bare face- Hori's Nevus and melasma on my cheeks, still obvious pores around my nose but smaller in my observation unlike before.

What I like:
  • Orihiro Placenta Collagen Powder is the cheapest collagen powder that I've tried!
  • It is FDA approved.
  • It's in a well-sealed pouch.
  • A 2-in-1 anti-aging product perfect for those who want to lessen the number of supplements they take every day.
  • It also contains other ingredients like Arginine, Glucosamine, and Vitamin C for other health benefits.
  • I love the vanilla flavor. This is the most delicious collagen powder supplement that I've tried to date. Less to no fishy smell, unlike other brands.
  • I didn't experience any discomforts like vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts or whatsoever.
  • Made my skin glowing even I only have 4 hours of sleep.
  • My skin is supple and soft to touch.
  • My nails are less brittle and my hair fall lessened too.
  • I look less haggard upon waking up.
  • Didn't make my look plump which I really like. No need to worry about double chin which I experienced with other collagen brands.
  • My skin looks healthy and shiny- not the 'oil' type of shine, if you may ask.
  • Batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the package.

What I don't like:
  • Not easily accessible. You have to purchase it online.
  • There's no scoop included in the pouch.

Will I purchase? Yes! My new favorite because aside from the collagen content it also has placenta and it's very affordable too!

Recommendation:
I give this a 5/5 rating. The price is cheap and this is one of the best collagen supplement that I've tried so far. I noticed that my skin is moist and the pores around my nose became smaller. I have pre-mature wrinkles in the under eye area that's visible but during the time I'm taking this, I barely notice them.

I will highly suggest this brand because it has less to no fishy smell and taste which is perfect for those who have a sensitive nose.

Watsons Kiss Aging Goodbye Campaign Launch

Friday, August 12, 2016

Aging is inevitable, but signs can be reversible because of different skin care products that we have today. In search for the fountain of youth, women ages 30 years old and above resort to anti-aging products to pro-long the effects of aging in the skin. If you're into anti-aging, I presume that you are using creams, serums, and even supplements that diminishes fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, and pigmentation.

Did you know that 20 is the new 30? Yes, you read that right. With all the stress and bad habits that come with our hectic, modern lives, women are aging faster than ever before. And the signs- both internal and external, visible and invisible, start to manifest as early as your 20s.  I was shocked when I heard this during Watsons Kiss Aging Goodbye campaign. Does that mean  I'm already late in terms of when to incorporate anti-aging products in my skin care regimen? Sharing some insights on anti-aging and highlights of the event below :)
Watsons Kiss Aging Goodbye Campaign Launch
Last August 4, 2016, Watsons launched their Kiss Aging Goodbye event at Watsons Podium Mall with Patty Laurel as their host. Watsons is helping thousands of women to Kiss Aging Goodbye in its latest anti-aging campaign. During the event, we busted the myths about anti-aging and learned more on the facts why it is important to invest on skin care products that target aging.

Watsons Marketing Director, Ms. Viki Encarnacion, explains, “The Kiss Aging Goodbye campaign is what Watsons is all about. It’s an educational effort with a two-pronged approach, teaching our customers how to prevent the negative effects of aging by taking care of themselves inside and out. We are literally helping people ‘Look good. Feel great.’ And it’s a wonderful thing.” Here’s how the two-pronged approach works.

Watsons offers different anti-aging skin care products from cheap, cost-effective and high-end ones. Of course these products range from creams, serums, lotions, and supplements. Here are the products that I've spotted inside the store and are available in leading Watsons stores nationwide:

1. Topicals, creams, lotions, serums

  • To help you kiss those wrinkles goodbye, try L’Oreal Dermo Expertise Revitalift Range—a skin care solution inspired by laser, that promises younger looking skin in 4 weeks!
  • Or bring back your baby skin with Collagen by Watsons Intensive Nourishing Facial Mask, enriched with Collagen and Vitamin E to repair dryness and enhance skin’s elasticity.

2. Anti-aging supplements

  • A lot of the signs of aging we see on the outside is caused by the body breaking down on the inside.
  • Calcium deficiency and lack of collagen are two common culprits.
  • To help prevent a haggard look, you should give yourself the added nutrition you need in the form of food supplements and ingestible beauty aids.
  • One of Watsons’ favorites is the iVi Collagen Ready-To-Drink, with 10,000 mg of Collagen that helps smoothen fine lines, and lighten dark spots for that forever-young glow.
Watsons Kiss Aging Goodbye Campaign Launch
Here are some tips from the experts and from yours truly:

1. If you want to keep your beauty longer, keep your beauty bases covered from nutrition to skincare, inside and out.
2. You’re never too young to start looking old. Start preventive maintenance in your early 20s. If that ship has sailed, start as early as now.
3. Always drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. Hydration is the key to maintain skin elasticity and moisture thus preventing it from dryness.
4. Use sunblock and sunscreen everyday. Re-apply every 4 hours. Bring umbrella, wear shades, to protect you from the damaging rays of the sun. Avoid sun exposure in the afternoon where the UVA/UVB rays are at its peak.
5. Stop smoking! Drink moderately. Eat healthy and exercise.
6. Start your anti-aging regimen by investing on products that will help lessen or diminish wrinkles, fine lines, crow's feet, sagging skin, and hyper pigmentation. You can score anti-aging products at Watsons Stores nationwide.
7. Start hoarding anti-aging products now because Watsons is having a great sale on anti-aging products until September 21, 2016.

Product Review: Otsuka Placenta C Jelly Review

To tell you honestly, I enjoyed eating this placenta jelly sticks. It's so yummy and it doesn't taste weird or smells funky unlike the collagen jelly stick. I also like the consistency of this more because it has a true jelly-like texture. I forgot that I'm taking placenta and just eating jelly for dessert. Yum!

Product Review: Otsuka Placenta C Jelly Review

I'm expecting this product to be effective since it has around 4,000+ mg of collagen per serving. The average dosage of placenta extract is around 4,000-5,000 mg a day for it to be effective so this one did not fail on that part. It also contains a small amount of collagen so yay for the anti-aging department as it gives a little boost on that. Should I say placenta and collagen combined gives great results? Look at my photo below, no makeup only eyeliner on my eyelids. You can still see my Hori's nevus that I thought to be freckles, there's a pimple on my forehead, large pores on my nose but my face looks glowing and blooming even if I only have 4 hours of sleep.

Product Review: Otsuka Placenta C Jelly Review

What I like:
  • Otsuka Placenta Jelly C is Japan FDA approved.
  • The packaging- it's very handy and travel-friendly.
  • It's wrapped individually, convenient to bring anytime, anywhere.
  • This jelly stick form of placenta can be eaten any time of the day. It's perfect for snacks or dessert because it has a fruity flavor. I like the flavor of this, it's mango but there's a peach aftertaste.
  • Best paired with glutathione to boost and speed up the whitening process. But this one can also whiten the skin alone and give it a pinkish tone.
  • I didn't experience any discomforts like vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts or whatsoever.
  • Otsuka Placenta C Jelly made my skin glowing even if there were times that I only have 4 hours of sleep.
  • Gave me a smooth and supple skin during the time I'm taking this jelly.
  • My skin looks healthy and shiny- not the 'oil' type of shine, if you may ask.
  • Batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the package.

What I don't like:
  • The price- a bit steep for budget-conscious individuals.
  • Not easily accessible.

Will I purchase? Yes, I'll maintain this supplement as I love the taste and the results on my skin. It's also an anti-aging and whitening product in one, so it's worth every peso.

Recommendation:
I give this a 5/5 rating. The pictures don't lie. During the time I'm taking Otsuka Placenta C Jelly, I can go out with minimal or no makeup for reals! I highly recommend this product if you want to try anti-aging and whitening supplement in one. Since this already in jelly stick form, taking placenta is now enjoyable.

As for other results in the anti-aging department like fewer wrinkles or fine lines, I think it will follow if Otsuka Placenta C Jelly is taken for months. I have a great experience while taking this product and if asked, I will maintain this in my anti-aging supplements.

Sunday, July 17, 2016

Hello dearies! Sharing with you a review of Otsuka Collagen C Jelly anti-aging supplement. This product is a hot item in Japan and to those who have tried it, their experience was good. Before Cheska's online store sent me this product for a review, I've seen a pack of Otsuka Collagen C Jelly inside my sister's bag. She said that her college friend who goes to Japan for a vacation gave it to her.

I was intrigued because it's new to me. Collagen in jelly stick form? Surprisingly, yes. From powder form and juice drinks, now comes jelly sticks! Will this type of collagen make it big here in our country in the anti-aging department? I've heard this type of collagen is famous in Japan because it's convenient to use and the fruity flavor makes it easier to consume. Full review details of Otsuka Collagen C Jelly below :)

Product Review: Otsuka Collagen C Jelly

Look at the color of the packaging, it's hot pink! My first impression when the box reached our doorsteps last month. Upon opening, I saw 31 jelly sticks that need to be consumed as an everyday dessert but at the back of my mind I was figuring out the taste. If you're a long time collagen supplement user, I assume that most of the collagen brands that you have tried in the market today have a fishy smell and taste.

Product Review: Otsuka Collagen C Jelly

At first, I was intimidated by the color of the Otsuka Collagen C Jelly stick, I'm a bit hesitant to taste it because my sensitive nose smells something different. It smells fruity but there's a bit of fish smell. Without tasting the product, I can surely say it's collagen. As for the taste, I can say it's like blackcurrant to berry but again, there's an aftertaste like that of the regular collagen that I've tried and reviewed before but it was tolerable!

What I like:
  • Otsuka Collagen Jelly C is Japan FDA approved.
  • The packaging- it's very handy and travel-friendly.
  • It's wrap individually, convenient to bring anytime, anywhere.
  • This jelly stick form of collagen can be eaten any time of the day. It's perfect for snacks or dessert because it has a fruity flavor.
  • Best paired with glutathione to boost and speed up the whitening process.
  • I didn't experience any discomforts like vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts or whatsoever.
  • Otsuka Collagen C Jelly made my skin glowing even if there were times that I only have 4 hours of sleep.
  • Less hair fall and no more brittle nails.
  • It made my skin supple and hydrated. There are times that I don't need to use my favorite lotion.

Yes, it's in the realm of possibility. I've already considered taking collagen supplement as part of my anti-aging regimen.

Recommendation:
I give this a 4.75/5 rating. I guess it's because of the collagen content per stick. I made a computation based on what's written on the box (77,500 mg / 31 sticks) so I presume that each stick contains roughly around 2,500 mg of collagen and the required is around 3,000-5,000 mg a day especially if you're older let's say around 40 years old above. But I will still highly recommend this if you're around 25 years old and new to collagen supplements.

As for the fine lines, pre-mature wrinkles, wrinkles, laugh lines, and crow's feet, I'm lucky that I have a few of them that's unnoticeable as of the moment. While taking the supplement, I did not see a drastic change in their size, appearance etc but my skin felt a tight feeling so meaningless sagging of the skin. Again, it is best to see maximum results with continued use :)

Product Review: Meiji Amino Collagen

Wednesday, April 13, 2016

Hello dearies, as promised here's the review of Meiji Amino Collagen supplement. It's not the first brand of collagen supplement that I've tried. There are local brands in the market today and most of them are easily accessible. What made me itch to try this product is the country of origin- Japan. We all know that most of the Japanese skin care products are of high quality and effective even if some have a high price tag.

Like what I always say in my supplement reviews, before using anti-aging skin care product one must consult their dermatologist first if in doubt. Not all anti-aging skin care products are used by individuals who are 30 years old and above. Some use anti-aging skin care products because they're always exposed to the harmful rays of the sun, already see pre-mature wrinkles and other aging skin concerns. The results you will read here are what I experienced during and after taking the product. More information on Meiji Amino Collagen supplement after the jump :)

Product Review: Meiji Amino Collagen

Cheskas Store sent me a can of the infamous Meiji Amino Collagen supplement. If you're not familiar with Meiji Collagen, well this brand is famous in Japan. I've read that this product is a favorite amongst women ages 25 and up. So going back, this collagen

“Feel the beautifying power of fish"

Three more ingredients that add to the effectiveness of collagen are:
  • Arginine: a type of amino acid, essential for maintaining healthy skin
  • Vitamin C: an essential vitamin that supports collagen
  • Glucosamine: a raw material for hyaluronic acid, which helps maintain the skin’s moisture.

1 scoop is 7 equivalent to 5,000 mg of fish collagen

The recommended daily intake of collagen should be around 3,000-5,000 mg a day. A scoop of Meiji Amino Collagen contains 5,000 mg already and once mixed with your favorite drinks, it becomes potent now that you'll be drinking it in liquid form. After consuming one can that is good for twenty-eight (28) days, I see promising and positive results not only in my skin but in my hair and nails. I noticed that when I was still taking the supplement, I look less haggard even if I only have 4 hours of sleep and running errands whole day.

Product Review: Meiji Amino Collagen
You can still see eye bags in both photos, but on the second one, I look less haggard. Both photos were taken daytime and I also noticed one more thing, did I get lighter?

What I like:
  • Meiji Amino Collagen is very affordable.
  • It is FDA approved.
  • Comes in a well-sealed can. It is double sealed- one with plastic wrap at the lid and another seal on top before opening the can. It's also available in refill pouch. Don't worry about measuring because it comes with a scoop.
  • Meiji Amino Collagen also contains other ingredients like Arginine and Glucosamine for other health benefits.
  • There's a mild fishy scent and my sensitive nose can tolerate it. The scent disappears once the powder is dissolved in liquid drink/s.
  • I didn't experience any discomforts like vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts or whatsoever.
  • It made my skin glowing even if there were times that I only have 4 hours of sleep.
  • Made my skin soft and supple.
  • My nails are less brittle and my hair fall lessened too.
  • I always wake up with plump and moist skin. I look less haggard too.
  • My skin looks healthy and shiny- not the 'oil' type of shine, if you may ask.
  • Batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the package.

What I don't like:
  • Not easily accessible.
  • Since it made my skin plump, I look like I gained weight. I can see fats under my jaw.

Will I purchase? Yes! This is in my oral anti-aging supplement list and will buy a refill every now and then when I ran out of stock. Good thing there is a refill with the same price of the can but has an extra scoop for two days.

Recommendation:
I give this a 5/5 rating. The price is very affordable and this is the best collagen supplement that I've tried so far. Since I don't have crow's feet around my eye area, I'll be neutral on that. I have pre-mature wrinkles in my undereye that's visible if my concealer creases but during the time I'm taking Meiji Amino Collagen supplement, I rarely see my concealer crease.

I'm happy that I only have a few fine lines and wrinkles that are unnoticeable as of the moment. While taking the supplement, I did see a minor change in the size of my pores and my skin felt a bit tight and made my skin plumper so I look like I gained a little weight in photos. Plumper skin emphasized the extra fat in my jaw area. I don't use contouring making so I just let it show.  Again, it is best to see maximum results with continued use :) If you have questions, more answers here: http://www.meiji.co.jp/health/amicolla/en/faq/index.html
