ARTHALAND is bringing its growing residential portfolio north with the opening of the Arthaland Gallery in Quezon City, giving prospective homeowners a closer look at Liv Katipunan, its newest residential development in the area.
Located at the corner of Rajah Matanda Street and Katipunan Avenue, the new gallery offers visitors an early glimpse of what life at Liv could look and feel like from its thoughtfully designed residential units to its wellness spaces, sustainable features, and community-focused amenities. And for those familiar with the Katipunan area, the location is definitely worth checking out.
The Arthaland Gallery is approximately three kilometers from the Liv project site, or about a five- to 10-minute drive. More than just a showroom, the gallery was designed to give visitors an actual feel for the Liv lifestyle even before the development is completed. Inside, visitors can explore a display area, digital kiosk, scale model of the development, unit finishes area, and fully furnished Studio and One-bedroom model units.
According to Kiesha Silayan, ARTHALAND Marketing Strategy Division Manager, the gallery experience allows visitors to see and experience the units and lifestyle being created at Liv as ARTHALAND expands its presence in Quezon City.
For me, seeing a model unit is always helpful because it gives you a better sense of how a space can actually work. Floor plans and artist renderings can show you the possibilities, but walking through a furnished space makes it easier to imagine your everyday routine there.
The Tree of Life Opens the Gallery
The opening of the Arthaland Gallery was marked by a symbolic Tree of Life ceremony attended by the ARTHALAND project team and partners. The Tree of Life represents the values behind Liv—balance, harmony, unity, and the interconnectedness between people and nature.

During the ceremony, representatives watered a plant to symbolize the nurturing of shared roots. The Tree of Life then lit up from its roots upward, formally opening the gallery. What's interesting is that the Tree of Life isn't just a symbolic feature for the gallery. It will eventually become part of the podium design at Liv.
Switch Coffee Brings a Neighborhood Feel
Another feature that caught my attention is the café at the gallery, which will be operated by local brand Switch Coffee. The café will have an indoor space as well as an al fresco area that will be open to the public. As someone who loves the idea of having a café within a community, I think this adds a nice neighborhood feel to the gallery.
A café can easily become part of our everyday routine whether it's for a quick coffee before work or school, meeting friends, getting some work done, or simply taking a few minutes to relax. It's also a nice way for visitors to experience the community atmosphere that ARTHALAND hopes to create at Liv.
Liv Katipunan: Designed Around Connection
Nestled in Katipunan, Liv brings together residences, study and work areas, wellness facilities, and social spaces. The development is envisioned as a vertical community centered on connection, wellbeing, and sustainable living. Its location also makes it particularly appealing for students, parents, professionals, and investors looking for a well-connected address in Quezon City.
Liv will have dual access to Katipunan Avenue and Esteban Abada Street, along with a dedicated bridgeway connecting directly to Ateneo de Manila University's Gate 1. It's also approximately a five-minute walk from LRT 2 Katipunan Station. Miriam College, the University of the Philippines, schools, commercial establishments, restaurants, and lifestyle destinations are also within easy reach. For families with children studying in the area, having convenient access to schools and transportation can be a major consideration when choosing a home or investment property.
Liv North: 748 Residential Units
The first of two towers at Liv, Liv North, will stand 46 stories high and offer 748 residential units. The development will offer Studio, One-bedroom, and Two-bedroom units ranging from approximately 24 to 70 square meters. The units are designed with different lifestyles in mind, including investors, parents looking for homes for their children, and professionals who want to live close to leading educational institutions and key business districts.
Making Compact Spaces Feel Bigger
One of the things I found interesting about the Liv model units is how the design makes the most of compact urban spaces. The interiors were designed by Hong Kong-based RGBA Design Ltd., which worked with ARTHALAND on the interior architecture and hospitality design. The approximately 25-square-meter Studio model unit, for example, is designed for a young achiever who is starting to build her future while expressing her personal style. Instead of a conventional bed setup, it features a custom bunk bed with a study area underneath, creating dedicated spaces for rest, work, and creativity while keeping the living area open. Large operable windows bring in natural light and fresh air, while separate toilet and shower areas allow two routines to happen simultaneously. The flexible layout can also evolve as the resident's needs change, with biophilic elements adding a touch of nature to the home.
The approximately 40-square-meter One-bedroom model unit takes a different approach, designed for a resident who values independence, comfort, and intentional choices. It features a private balcony that extends the living space, while large operable windows bring in natural light and fresh air. Separate toilet and shower areas provide added privacy and convenience, especially when entertaining guests. Liv residences will also feature INAX bathroom fixtures by LIXIL, incorporating Japanese engineering and technologies focused on water-saving, hygiene, and comfort. For me, these practical details matter because a beautiful home is even better when its design and features make everyday living more comfortable and convenient.
Sustainability is another major part of the Liv development. Liv is targeting four sustainability certifications: LEED, WELL, EDGE, BERDE. The development is designed to deliver at least 20% energy and water savings, reinforcing ARTHALAND's commitment to environmental sustainability and resident wellbeing. For me, sustainability in residential developments is becoming increasingly important. Today's homeowners are not only looking for beautiful spaces but also communities that consider wellness, resource efficiency, and the environment.
Amenities for Everyday Living
Liv will offer a range of amenities designed to support different aspects of residents' daily lives.
These include:
- Swimming pool
- Gym
- Function room
- Multi-purpose court
- Landscaped parks
- Potager Garden
- Collaborative spaces
Designed by Visionarch, Liv follows a “life-centric architecture” philosophy, creating flexible spaces that can adapt to residents' changing needs while encouraging interaction, connection, and shared experiences. I like this approach because modern homes have become so much more than just a place to sleep. We work, study, exercise, socialize, and relax in the same community, so having spaces that support these different activities can make everyday life more convenient.
The opening of the Arthaland Gallery gives prospective homeowners an opportunity to experience Liv Katipunan before the development is completed. With its strategic location, flexible residential layouts, wellness-focused amenities, sustainability goals, and emphasis on community, Liv is designed for people looking for a connected urban lifestyle in Quezon City.
Liv North is targeted for turnover in July 2031.
