If there’s one helpful lesson that the pandemic has helped reinforce on a bigger, more alarming scale, it’s that people should be more cautious of their health no matter the season. Even in the post-pandemic era, people should constantly get themselves checked and track their health in all aspects.
A recent study by research institute Capstone-Intel Corp., however, found that only 40% of Filipinos go to the doctor to get checked regularly, and 33% only do so when they fall ill. This rate doesn’t bode well for many people’s health, especially with conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and the like common to Filipinos.
