     Hi dearies! I'm excited to reveal the latest whitening soap that I'm using as of the moment. I've been using this face and body bar for more than a month now. For my long time readers, you know me already when it comes to product reviews. I make sure that I use a whitening product for at least three to four weeks before sharing my experience. For the nth time, I have fair skin but it's uneven and I guess lacks nutrition. Yes, using whitening products makes the skin "oh so good" to look at but the question "is your white skin healthy?" will arise.

     With this realization, I think I've stripped off some nutrients present on my skin because some of the whitening soap that I've used before will just whiten my skin and that's the end.      After more than a month of using this creamy face and body bar religiously, I'm impressed with the results. I decided to stop using other skin care products related to whitening like whitening lotion and cream. I can attest to the effectiveness of this creamy bar because in a span of thirty days, my skin maintained its color, looks healthier than before and there's a pinkish undertone when I'm outside the house. At first I though I'm getting dark but my sisters told me that I'm still fair and there's a certain brightness.

instruction for use: Wet the soap and use a towelette to make a creamy lather. Massage very gently all over the face and body. Rinse and pat dry.

What I like:

• It's made of organic ingredients.
• Japonesa Face and Body Bar is infused with lactoferrin and probiotics, first in the organic whitening soap department. 
• It's a lightening, anti-aging face and body bar that's also great for sensitive skin.
• The scent- smells so DIVINE! It's so luxurious, first time to try a soap that smells like vanilla. 
• The packaging is attractive and has a luxurious feel because of the engraved logo.
• Aside from the box packaging, the soap inside the box is wrapped in Japanese paper.
• The soap produces a very rich creamy lather.
• I don't need to worry if I left the soap in my soap dish despite the hot weather. Even if this is hand made, no signs of melting happened. I was able to use the bar until the very last shape. It's amazing how it can withstand the weather.
• The price- if I'll do the math it's affordable as one bar will really last more than a month with daily use.  
• It's multi-purpose- can be used from head to toe. Face and body bar, shampoo for hair and scalp, and feminine wash too.
• My skin feels soft and velvety smooth after every wash. 
• It maintained my skin tone despite the hot weather.
• Made my skin glowing and bright.
• Exfoliates really well! I can see dead skin big time every time I scrub my body.
• Japonesa Face and Body Bar is available in two sizes: 120 g and 70 g. I can say that the later is great for travelling. No need to bring bulky soap with you when you go on a trip.
• Made some dark spots and blemishes caused by pimples appear lighter after a month of everyday use. 
• Though I'm not sure on the anti-aging effect, I noticed that my skin became supple. I thought I'm getting dark but there's this "namumula" (rosy/healthy tinge) on my skin.
• Complete batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the box.

What I don't like:

• Not easily accessible. It's available at UNIMART Greenhills and in their physical store only as of the moment.

Will I repurchase? YES, definitely! This soap is back-up worthy.

Recommendation:

     I give this soap a 5/5 rating. Another organic soap that I'll include on my top list, another holy grail material as I'm very much impressed on the performance.  I have very sensitive skin that's prone to redness and irritation. I'm glad that no negative reactions arise on my skin from the very first use. Product Review: Japan Yamashiro Organic Deep Intensive Whitening Soap

     Hi dearies! Here's my honest to goodness review of the soap that I've been using for three weeks now. Even though the soap is dubbed as "See results in 3 minutes" I still make sure that I use it for more than two weeks since there are other effects that I want to see while road-testing the product. I believe that one week is not enough to test a soap, especially whitening ones. I'm already fair to begin with so chances are there will not be a drastic change in the whitening and lightening department.

     But a small but promising effect will always matter to me. I'm patient like that with whitening skin care products. I don't judge the product after a week's usage. We have different skin tones, skin care needs and problems so this soap may be effective for me but not to you or vice versa. I've been using the soap for three weeks now, I'm always out in the sun running for errands. Even though I'm armed with umbrella and sunblock, my skin still get burned under the sun. Not only the sweltering heat but the humidity can also cause skin darkening. So this soap is a big help :) See below why!

instruction for use: For the face, use the soap as normal. For the body, leave the soap's lather for 3 minutes. After a couple of days, there will be micro-peeling effect. Use a wet towel to exfoliate your skin. It is highly recommended to use a good whitening lotion or moisturizer to fasten the whitening.

Product Review:  Japan Yamashiro Organic Deep Intensive Whitening Soap

What I like:

• It's organic!
• The price is affordable since it will really last more than a month. If you'll do the math it's around 8 PHP/day. 
• The scent is not overpowering. It has a subtle sweet scent.
• The soap is mild. No stinging sensation during the required time that the soap's lather should be left on the skin.
• It produces a good lather.
• My skin feels squeaky clean after each bath.
• EXFOLIATES VERY WELL!
• No irritation, breakouts, allergies, or whatsoever.
• The soap doesn't melt fast despite the hot weather.
• My skin is soft and smooth to touch after use.
• It made my skin even toned even if I'm always out in the sun running errands. It's a no joke that I always feel like I'm getting fried whenever I walk in the streets around 12 in the afternoon. 
• It lightens my wound scar a bit after three weeks of use. 

What I don't like:

• Not easily accessible.
• Doesn't have batch, manufacturing and expiry date.
• No English translation of the product information.

Will I repurchase? Yes!

Recommendation:
     I give this soap a 4.5/5 rating. I like the soap's exfoliating powers! I can see dead skin cells big time every bath. As for the texture, the soap is economical to use as it doesn't melt fast or should I say no melting at all in the soap dish despite the hot weather unlike other organic whitening soaps in the market today. 

     Always use the soap as instructed. Since I've only consumed a bar of Japan Yamashiro Organic Deep Whitening Soap, the whitening effect on my fair skin tone is not drastic but with continued use I'm sure that my blemishes will fade one step at a time. I've seen a lightening on my small knee scar and that's a wonderful result in as fast as three weeks. The soap leaves a powdery feel after use too so my skin is really soft and smooth to to touch. I highly recommend this soap. Yes, it worked for me :)

Product Review: Natura Organics Himalayan Mud 21-in-1 Soap

     If my memory serves me right, three years ago I had a hatred feeling against a certain black soap. It's not the black bleaching bar that I've tried from one of the famous brand of organic skin care products in our country today. Yes, it's a face and body soap that left a terrible effect on my face. The thing that irks me most is that it's organic. I have high expectations on that soap because before I get hold of it, I've seen positive reviews on their website and some beauty blogs. I really never expected that the "good" would turn so bad as in so so bad in my case. 

    So to end a long story short, after that experience I veered away from that brand. If you're adventurous with soaps I'm sure you can guess what kind of soap I'm saying here. Product Review: Be Organic Aloe Jojoba Soap

     Hello dearies! I'm back with another review. But this time I let my hubby use this soap for thirty days. If you're wondering why I made him as my guinea pig, well it's because the soap is suited for his skin type. The soap that I'm going to introduce today is suited for oily and irritated skin. I presume everyone knows that Aloe Vera is one of the most widely used skin care product that comes from nature even during the old times. I can still remember our Aloe Vera plant that my grandmother planted in her backyard. Whenever we go to her house for a vacation and my cousin's skin got irritated, she will pick a leaf of Aloe Vera, wash it and get the gel coming out of the leaf. It's amazing that the itchy irritated and red like skin patches become tamed after the application of the gel. 

     Going back to my review, this soap is really suited to individuals with oily and irritated skin. Combined with jojoba oil that also makes the skin nourished and moisturized, the soap is another moisturizer in a bar. Don't get me wrong if I tell you that oily skin needs to be moisturized too. If you'll do your research, most oily skin individuals need to use moisturizer to protect the layer of the skin thus minimizing the irritation and less production of sebum. Well according to the hubby, after using the soap on his oily face he noticed that his skin feels smooth to touch. When he uses the soap on his body that has dry patches, he said that the itchiness lessened after taking a bath. Product Review: Be Organic Papaya Kojic Soap

     On my trip to Robinson's Galleria a month ago, I saw a big kiosk of SESOU store. It's a store where you can buy everything organic, from head to toe! They also sell general cleaning items and other stuff that's environment friendly. This is the store where I first met my favorite All Organics Soaps that I still purchase from time to time. I was looking for my favorite All Organics Calamansi variant that time but it's OOS. I was contemplating if I'll get another fave, the Singkamas variant or try another organic brand. Well, trying another brand can be risky for me now since my skin's condition these past few days was very sensitive. Breakouts here and there and my old skin care regimen seems not working anymore. So even though I was skeptical on trying an new organic brand, I still pursued buying one from Be Organic. 

     My skin concerns as of the moment are tiny bumps like whiteheads that will turn into zits after a few days, rough and dry cheeks and some oiliness on my chin and nose. I know that the cause of this is hormonal. I already went to my OB-Gynecologist to have a general check up. Anyhoo, there are four variants of Be Organic soap that time and I have my eyes glued on the Papaya Kojic soap. I was brave enough to try kojic soap because I already tried this variant of soap from different brands before. What's new to me is the combination of Papaya and Kojic.  I've been using the soap for more than three weeks now and the results are erratic. I guess the effects on my skin is not because of the soap but mainly the hormonal changes that I've been going through.

Product Review: Beauty and Bright Facial and Body Lightening Moringa Soap

     Hello dearies! Happy Easter to everyone :) Today I'm going to share my thoughts on Beauty and Bright Facial and Body Lightening Moringa soap. I know this review took almost 2 months but I'm confident and happy to share it to you because it's not only me who used the soap religiously. I convinced my husband to try soap because I noticed his left arm has uneven skin tone because of driving without any protection around 10 a.m. everyday. • The scent- it's minty, love the smell of this soap because everytime I use it I feel very relaxed.
• Produces a thick and creamy lather that applies very smooth on skin.
• My skin feels soft and squeaky clean after every wash. There's a tight feeling on my face but not too tight. 
• I can see a glow on my face and smaller pores when I looked in the mirror.
• Exfoliates well.
• Contains 7 LIGHTENING/BEAUTIFYING agents in 1 bar. 
• Doesn't made my skin dry after bath. If you're a long time user of whitening soaps, natural, organic or not you'll notice there's a bit of drying after use.
• Made some dark spots and blemishes caused by pimples appear lighter after a month of everyday use. 
• The packaging is very neat and simple. The box is loaded with information. Everything you need to know about the soap is printed on the box. 
• Complete batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the box.
• Did I mention it's affordable? I'll just make it cheap- after a month of using the soap on my face and body, there's an approximate of 1/3 bar left on my soap dish. 

What I don't like:

• None!

Will I repurchase? YES, definitely!

Recommendation:

     I give this soap a 4.75/5 rating. If you ask me why not 5/5, I have to be honest that I'm not a fan of soaps that has cooling sensation. The minty feel is a plus for now because it's summer but if I'm going to use this during cold months, methinks will not let the lather stay on my skin for 5 minutes. But nonetheless, this soap performs great and same as the Beauty and Bright Skin Lightening and Anti-Agin Serum Bar. You can use the soap as is, no need to cut into half. Don't worry, it's very soft to touch but it will not melt unlike other organic soaps that I've tried. I highly recommend this specially now the heat is insane. If you want to lighten your skin and relax while taking a bath at the same time, I highly recommend this soap. Le hubby loves it too, it's the first time he asked me where to buy this kind of soap :)

     I'm very excited to share this review because this is my first brand of organic anti-aging soap to date. I just turned 30 last January and even if I'm 5 years late in my anti-aging regimen ( 25 years old is the recommended age for using anti-aging products) methinks it's not too late to add one or two age-defying product in my skincare essentials. So I'm starting it with an anti-aging soap for the face and body. But this is not just an ordinary soap, it's a serum bar from Beauty and Bright. I guess you got intrigued with the word "serum", I also got curious because this is the first time I encountered the word "serum bar". I've seen the word serum on creams and lotions but not with soap. At first I was skeptical if the soap will produce the same kind of lather that a regular soap can give. But I'm more interested in the list of natural ingredients contained in this serum bar because it's not only anti-aging, it's also a whitening soap so that's two benefits in one! 

     After more than a month of using this serum bar religiously on my face and body, I'm very impressed with the results. I decided to stop using my current faves (snoe white soaps) just to see if it's really effective. What I like:

• It's organic!
• The price- it's affordable, less than 100 php for a 130g gram of serum bar that's packed with all the goodness that nature has to offer!
• The scent- sweet but not overpowering, there's a hint of fruity scent like those of grape flavored juice.
• Produces a thick and creamy lather that applies very smooth to skin.
• The MILDEST among all the organic/natural soaps that I've tried. Doesn't sting my eyes. Even if I leave the lather for more than 5 minutes there's no stinging or burning sensation on my face and body. 
• My skin feels soft and velvety smooth after every wash. There's a tight feeling on my face but not too tight. 
• I can see a glow on my face and smaller pores when I looked in the mirror.
• Exfoliates well.
• This variant is 2 in 1, whitening and anti-aging for the price of 1 bar. 
• Made some dark spots and blemishes caused by pimples appear lighter after a month of everyday use. 
• Though I'm not sure on the anti-aging effect, I noticed that stretch marks on my abdomen appeared a little lighter in terms of color intensity than before. 
• It's amazing how it can withstand the weather. It's summer and the heat is insane. There's no sign of melting or changes in size and shape. 
• The packaging is very neat and simple. The box is loaded with information. Everything you need to know about the soap is printed on the box. 
• Complete batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the box.
• Did I mention it's affordable? I'll just make it cheap- after a month of using the soap on my face and body, there's approximate of 1/3 bar left on my soap dish.

What I don't like:

• None!

Will I repurchase? YES, definitely!

Recommendation:

     I give this soap a 5/5 rating. This is my first organic anti-aging serum bar and I'm very much impressed with the performance. I'm adding this variant now on my bath essentials. A little word of caution, even if this soap contains all natural ingredients I still advise you to use this on a small part of your body first. If there's no negative reaction, redness or irritation occur use this soap as instructed. Remember that natural products can also cause allergic reactions in some individuals. I have a very sensitive skin that's prone to redness and irritation. I'm glad I didn't experience negative reaction from the very first use. I highly recommend this serum bar ^_^

     I'm a huge fan of organic and natural products particularly organic bath soaps. They're my skin's bestest friend. If my memory serves me right, I've tried 5 brands already. These include Cyleina, Bare Naturals, All Organics and Snoe. Most of these brands offer a wide array of variants depending on your skin need. I've also tried Camaru Naturals but their charcoal soap was too harsh for my sensitive skin. If you're a long time reader of this blog, I'm sure you know how much I love All Organics and Snoe White. Their soaps became a staple skin care product for my face and body. Even though I've already found my HG (holy grail), I still need something that will complete the list of ingredients that my aging skin needs. 

     There's a new player in town! Introducing Beauty and Bright by Droplets of Nature. If you'll ask me what's the difference of these soaps from the ones that I've tried before, my answer will be based on their ingredients and the serum bar. Intrigued much? I'm using the serum bar for more than 3 weeks now but before I share my thoughts about Beauty and Bright, it's best to know why I think their soap is very promising ;)

SWITCH to NATURAL! 

The combination of the Three Power Oils that is more effective than arbutin but safer than hydroquinone? 

The first bar: The light purple bar shows the percentage of melanin control when you use the power oils , hydroquinone or arbutin.

The second bar: The darker purple shows the increase in the percentage of melanin reduction when you increase the percentage of power oils , hydroquinone (HQ) or arbutin. While HQ may give you the fastest result to lighten- it is NEVER safe. You can not go under the sun because by doing that may cause an irreversible damage to your skin. Aside from that, HQ is very toxic- You CAN NOT increase its concentration because it can be very harmful to the skin.

Product Review: Snoe White Lightening Licorice Beauty Bar

     If there's one thing in my bath staple that I can't live without now, that would probably bath soaps. Not one but two variants of beauty bars to be exact. Obviously I'm hooked with organic soaps and when I say organic soap, without a doubt Snoe white is the brand that I trust. Again, I'm using these beauty bars for more than a year now. I just mix and match each variant depending on my skin needs. Using these soaps doesn't mean my skin is perfect and flawless. I have fair skin to begin with and having a fair skin should not be coined as flawless. Yes, my skin tone is fair to light (I'm NC 15-20) but my skin is very sensitive with uneven tone, blemishes and freckles. So before you say that I'm lucky to have this complexion, I'm telling you that I'm not. I also have skin care problems that I mentioned above and as years pass by my skin tends to become more and more sensitive.

     Since my problem is to even out my skin tone and lighten dark spots, I need a soap that is made for sensitive skin. Do you love reading product labels? If you do, then I guess you already know that using whitening soap can make your skin very sensitive. That's why some of the trusted brands in the market include warning labels/precaution in using the soap. I noticed that most whitening soaps in the market today contain harsh ingredients that's a no-no for sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin and you want to lighten blemishes and dark spots, Snoe white Lightening Licorice beauty bar is the soap that I would recommend to address those problems.

What I like:

• It's organic!
• Cute and Fancy packaging.
• Doesn't melt fast.
• There's a little pinkish glow on my arms and legs. My skin is pale white but after using this soap for more than a month it's now a little pinkish white.
• Easily accessible~ Cinderella Sm Fairview carries Snoe products now!!! Yay :D
• Affordable.
• Has manufacturing and expiry date printed on packaging.

What I don't like:

• I can't figure out the smell. It's not overpowering but I can't tolerate it. The least appealing soap for me when it comes to the scent.
• Since this is a gentle in terms of whitening, you'll not see immediate results.

Will I repurchase? Maybe YES- if my skin becomes very sensitive and needs to rest. Maybe NO- if I want to lighten dark spots and uneven skin tone intensively. 

Recommendation:

     I give this soap a 4/5 rating. Use the soap as instructed. Always use sunblock with spf 30 or higher to protect your skin from the sun. Yay! This is the 6th Snoe White soap that I've tried to date. Among the 5 variants of Snoe:Vitamin C Rich Calamansi, Organic Green Papaya, The Special Black Bleaching Bar, Special Kojic and Glutathione and Organic Papaya Beauty Bar, this is the mildest that I've tried on my body. Didn't use this on my face because I broke out with licorice soap before from another brand. There's 10 Snoe white beauty bars to choose from so now I'm down to only 4.
