     Ah, glutathione! The most sought-after whitening pill since time immemorial. If my memory serves me right, this skin beautifying supplement has been serving the Philippine market for more than a decade and until now. Filipinas who want to lighten their skin still choose glutathione because of its main function in the body- as a master anti-oxidant. The skin whitening/lightening part is just a bonus but a big factor in giving the user a flawless, smooth and radiant skin.

     I've reviewed a lot of glutathione in the past and over the years, brands are doing their best in reformulating or innovating their product. From the pure form of glutathione to reduced L-glutathione with alpha-lipoic acid, collagen, placenta, and alpha-arbutin combinations, now comes the newest form S-Acetyl Glutathione with the mission of addressing the lower absorption rates of reduced L-Glutathione.      If you're a long-time user of glutathione, prolly you've already read reviews on how it works in your body including how to take it, when to take it and the do's and dont's. For first-timers, the question of when to take it and if a separate Vitamin C is needed plays a big part in choosing a glutathione brand. Nuwhite made research on the most common complaints of customers and basically addressed them with this product.

     Taking twice or thrice capsule a day can be a pain for some users as they always forget when it's time to take the supplement. Others are also hesitant because the need to take a separate Vitamin C will give stomach discomforts to those who are acidic or are afraid of taking too many capsules in one go. Nuwhite addressed these concerns by introducing the S-Acetyl Glutathione form where you only need to take one capsule a day, without the need for extra ascorbic acid or Vitamin C in your most convenient time.

instruction for use: Take it any time of the day. Nuwhite prioritized convenience on the part of the user so whenever it is convenient for you to take one capsule, just take it with a full glass of water, Also, no need to take additional vitamin C as Nuwhite already has vitamin C in it. However, if you want to take additional Vitamin C, it's okay.

caution: For adults use only. Not recommended for children, pregnant and lactating women.

Product Review: Nuwhite S-Acetyl Glutathione

What I like:

• The packaging feels luxurious. I love the pink and silver combination. It is sealed upon purchase. There's a plastic seal outside the bottle cap, a paper seal on top of it. Once you open the push-down turn type lid, there's a plastic and a solupak inside.
• The capsule is color pink.
• No rotten egg or funky smell.
• I did not experience allergic reactions like vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts, or whatsoever.
• It's convenient to take since I only need 1 capsule a day.
• No need for extra Vitamin C.
• If you are allergic to ALA (alpha lipoic acid), this one is for you.
• This really made my skin glow. I've been sleeping less than 5 hours during the time I'm taking this supplement.
• Lightening of Hori's Nevus is present but not drastic.
• After one month of taking Nuwhite S-Acetyl Glutathione, my skin tone is still even if I bask under the sun. I always apply sunblock and have an umbrella with me.
• It gave a translucent white skin tone under natural lighting. 
• The lot and expiration date are printed on the lower backside of the bottle.
• This is FDA Approved.

What I don't like:

• Not easily accessible, you have to purchase it online.

Will I repurchase? Yes. Another promising brand that I'll recommend to those who are allergic to ALA and would like to try a glutathione brand that can be taken anytime of the day and without Vitamin C.

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.5/5 rating. This formulation of glutathione is the newest in the market and I highly recommend it to first-time users and those who are in their maintenance phase. It's super convenient to take and doesn't give stomach and throat discomfort. Nuwhite S-Acetyl Glutathione is very promising because of the formulation- the absorption rate is higher than L-glutathione so it will be more effective in the whitening department.

     Like with other glutathione brands in the market, the result will still vary from person to person. The lifestyle you have and the skin tone you're born with. For morenas, it usually takes three to six months of continuous usage to see maximum results. Glutathione supplement serves as an antioxidant in the liver. It cleanses the body from the toxins accumulated from pollution and chemicals so if you smoke, drink, and always stay late at night this supplement will first cleanse the toxins inside the body that's why sometimes the whitening effect is slower than those who have low-stress levels and toxins in their body.
