Have you read this POST? If you're a long time reader of this blog prolly you know that there is one snoe soap that I really love. I'm sure you've seen that soap on my haul posts, I even gave it a perfect 5/5 score and been using it for almost three years! But that soap was already discontinued in the market and when I heard that news months ago I felt very very sad. That variant from snoe became my skin's very best friend. I'm in love with that soap. No matter how many new and exciting brands that keeps on sprouting like mushrooms in supermarkets, department stores and online shops, I still come back to Snoe's Black Bleaching Beauty Bar.

I thought I'm going to look for another brand that will give the same results like Snoe's Black Bleaching Beauty Bar and to my surprise, they reformulated it. They made it even better or should I say the best bleaching soap in the market today! I will just make my introduction short dearies. Click continue reading and find out why Snoe's Snoe White soaps will always be the first place in my heart ^_^

Happy Independence Day dearies! Let me share my Blogger's United 5 picks that's totally awesome! I got only 4 items from different fashion blogger's rack selling their pre-loved clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and a whole lot more. I went there all by myself to support my blogger friends who organized the event. I'm sure all of you know that Blogger's United 5 is not just a place to buy stuff but this event also became the meeting place for some "meet and greet" sesh for bloggers and their readers. It's my first time to attend the event and heard that BU5 was the most coveted installment and will say my approval to this even if I haven't seen the crowd during BU1-B4. I arrived at the SMX Convention Center with long qeue at the entrance and surprised by the number of fashion aficionados arriving at the venue. Truly this installment of Blogger's United was a huge success! Congratulations to Ana Gonzales of The Fashionista Commuter, Aisa Ipac of Drowning Equilibrium and Honey Andrade of Somnia et VitaI will muse my Blogger's United 5 experience on a different post because my camera is acting up again, I'm so worried that my photos will be deleted just by connecting the usb to the laptop like what happened to my other photos :( Anyhoo, I also bought a new setting powder, a hair care essence and my favorite Snoe Black Bleaching beauty bar that's now upgraded to Special Black Bleaching beauty bar. Product Review: Snoe Beso Balm

Monday, May 13, 2013

This lip balm has been on my wish list for quiet some time. I wasn't able to get a hold of this because I've got more than 4 lip balms on hand that I use alternately everyday. I want to consume everything before buying a new one since most of the lip balms I have were organic so the life span is shorter than rest of the lip balms that I have. I already made a review of my fave lip balm, Carmex and EOS and even though they're my HG's I'm still looking for something that will not only moisturize my lips but will give me more stinging minty sensation after every application. I love minty lip balms. I also read somewhere that lip balms can also give a plumping effect on your lips so this reason made me look for a lip balm that will moisturize and plump lips in one application. When Snoe Beso Balm hit their shelves long time ago, I said to myself this will be added to my long list of "to buy" products.

I love reading literature, aka product information. While I was reading the description of this lip balm, the word "freshens breath" caught my attention. Never heard or tried a lip balm that will do that! So this lip balm will not only give you 1 but 3 times the goodness in a tube.
Snoe Beso Balm

Warning: Prolonged use may attract the opposite gender and cause intense flirting!
 Snoe Beso Balm
size:

price: 149php (Around $3.50+)

place bought: Snoe Beauty kiosk at Cinderella Sm, Fairview

instruction for use: Use before kissing or whenever you feel like it.

ingredients: Cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, Halianthus (sunflower) seed oil, Beeswax, Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) leaf oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Tocopheryl Acetate, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Menthol, Benzophenone 3, Blue1 (CI 42090), Yellow5 (CI 19140)

Snoe Beso Balm
And in Action! I have a slight dry upper lips but when I apply Beso Balm, it becomes moisturized after a couple of minutes. I just applied the lip balm in this photo. Less fine lines too!

What I like:
  • The price is affordable.
  • I super love the minty feel on my lips after application.
  • I like the cold and tingle feeling that leaves on my lips long after the application.
  • Makes my lips smooth and healthy looking. My lips looks dewy too.
  • I use this before I sleep at night and when I wake up, my lips are smooth with less lines.
  • The packaging is not flimsy and doesn't look cheap. Love the black and green combination.
  • Glides smoothly and not greasy at all.
  • No waxy feel and not heavy on my lips.
What I don't like:
  • The cap has no seal. Sometimes I doubt if the lip balm is exposed or opened accidentally while on display.
  • No batch, manufacturing and expiration date on the package.
  • Haven't noticed any plumping on my lips.
  • No spf :(
Will I repurchase? Yes!

Recommendation:
I give this a 4.5/5 rating. I'm a lip balm girl :D Expect this product to sit on my makeup kit as this earned a spot as one of my fave lip care product as of the moment. I love the tingling sensation it gives that's perfect for the insane heat. But this lip care doesn't have spf so if you'll go swimming or go outside the house in the morning, please use another lip balm with spf to protect your lips from UVA/UBV. But all in all, my experience with this lip balm is so good! Will definitely buy a back up soon :)

Have you tried Snoe Beso Balm? What's your current lip balm? Thanks for sharing!

Good Times!~

Collective Haul (January, February and March)

Saturday, March 16, 2013

Hellos! I would like to share my recent and not so recent skin care and makeup haul. I decided to make this post collective so that you'll not get bored of seeing same products that I buy to replenish my skin care essentials every month. I already posted my review of BYS Lipstick and Eskinol Spot-less Facial Cleanser before this haul post, I know it should be haul first before review but it's better late than never right?

Most of the items here are my favorites like All Organics Lemongrass Toner, Snoe white The Special Black Bleaching Bar, Quick FX Pimple Eraser, Purederm Facial Wipes and Nivea Extra Whitening Lotion. Just click on the link for full review of each product.
ESKINOL Spot-less White Facial Cleanser
All Organics Lemongrass Toner
BYS Lipstick in Champagne Rain
Snoe white The Special Black Bleaching Bar

My recent skin care buddy is the Eskinol Spot-less White Facial Cleanser. It's my 2nd bottle now and I'm loving how it removes deep seated dirt while making dark spots and blemishes less visible than before.
QUICK FX Pimple Eraser
Purederm Makeup Cleansing Tissues
Great news for Quick FX Pimple Eraser users. The old packaging has been replaced with this one that has a resealable cap. No more worries of contamination and spillage!
NIVEA Whitening Cell Repair
Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Off Beat Pink
I already  made a review of Nivea Whitening Cell Repair Protect and this is my favorite lotion of all time. Since it's summer and I'm always outdoors, I decided to try this variant because it's suitable for frequent sun exposure. I also bought a new lipstick and this time from Ever Bilena, heard it's a dupe for MAC Pink Noveau. Let's see how this will look on my pigmented lips. Will post swatch and review in a week's time.
Tony Moly Baby Doll Pot Concealer 01
Tony Moly Dear Me Petite Cotton BB Cream 01
Yay! My first full-size, unused bb cream :) I'm a bb cream addict. I started using bb creams 4 years ago and tried more than 10 brands. It's a trial and error experience. Even if I found my HG bb creams- Skin79, Skinfood, Laneige and Kate to name a few, I still feel the need to look for something new. I guess that's the reason why I don't buy full-sized bb creams. This concealer is my lemming and finally got my own pot already. I've read positive reviews about this concealer, will road test the product for a week or two before sharing my own review.

Basically that's it for now. Leave a comment below if you use the same skin care and makeup products. Have you joined my giveaways yet? Click here to join ^_^

Product Review: Snoe White Lightening Licorice Beauty Bar

Friday, February 22, 2013

If there's one thing in my bath staple that I can't live without now, that would probably bath soaps. Not one but two variants of beauty bars to be exact. Obviously I'm hooked with organic soaps and when I say organic soap, without a doubt Snoe white is the brand that I trust. Again, I'm using these beauty bars for more than a year now. I just mix and match each variant depending on my skin needs. Using these soaps doesn't mean my skin is perfect and flawless. I have fair skin to begin with and having a fair skin should not be coined as flawless. Yes, my skin tone is fair to light (I'm NC 15-20) but my skin is very sensitive with uneven tone, blemishes and freckles. So before you say that I'm lucky to have this complexion, I'm telling you that I'm not. I also have skin care problems that I mentioned above and as years pass by my skin tends to become more and more sensitive.

Since my problem is to even out my skin tone and lighten dark spots, I need a soap that is made for sensitive skin. Do you love reading product labels? If you do, then I guess you already know that using whitening soap can make your skin very sensitive. That's why some of the trusted brands in the market include warning labels/precaution in using the soap. I noticed that most whitening soaps in the market today contain harsh ingredients that's a no-no for sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin and you want to lighten blemishes and dark spots, Snoe white Lightening Licorice beauty bar is the soap that I would recommend to address those problems.
Snoe White Lightening Licorice Beauty Bar
No.4 Lightening Licorice Beauty Bar
For mild skin lightening, safe for sensitive skin. Has Glabridina substance that inhibits pigmentation by preventing Tyrosinase production. Brightens skin and delays skin aging while giving you that pinkish, radiant glow. Nourishes skin, the anti-inflammatory properties of licorice makes Licorice the best and mildest whitening ingredient for sensitive skin.
Snoe White Lightening Licorice Beauty Bar
size: 150g.

price: 139.75 php (Around $3.25)- regular price
Got it on a Buy 1 Take 1 sale for 159 php

place bought: Cinderella, Sm Fairview

instruction for use: wet skin, lather beauty bar and apply thoroughly. leave on skin for 2 minutes. expect a slight tingling or prickly sensation. rinse thoroughly. for best results use sunblock with spf30 after bathing.

Active Ingredients: Licorice Extract, Bearberry Extract, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E and C, High Grade Coconut Oil

What I like:
  • It's organic!
  • Cute and Fancy packaging.
  • Doesn't melt fast.
  • There's a little pinkish glow on my arms and legs. My skin is pale white but after using this soap for more than a month it's now a little pinkish white.
  • Easily accessible~ Cinderella Sm Fairview carries Snoe products now!!! Yay :D
  • Affordable.
  • Has manufacturing and expiry date printed on packaging.
What I don't like:
  • I can't figure out the smell. It's not overpowering but I can't tolerate it. The least appealing soap for me when it comes to the scent.
  • Since this is a gentle in terms of whitening, you'll not see immediate results.
Will I repurchase? Maybe YES- if my skin becomes very sensitive and needs to rest. Maybe NO- if I want to lighten dark spots and uneven skin tone intensively.

Recommendation:
I give this soap a 4/5 rating. Use the soap as instructed. Always use sunblock with spf 30 or higher to protect your skin from the sun. Yay! This is the 6th Snoe White soap that I've tried to date. Among the 5 variants of Snoe:Vitamin C Rich CalamansiOrganic Green Papaya, The Special Black Bleaching Bar, Special Kojic and Glutathione and Organic Papaya Beauty Bar, this is the mildest that I've tried on my body. Didn't use this on my face because I broke out with licorice soap before from another brand. There's 10 Snoe white beauty bars to choose from so now I'm down to only 4. What variant do you want me to try next?

What SNOE variant combo do you think will suit your skin needs? Share away dearies :)

Good Times!~
