Product Review: Botanique Spa Professional Morroco Argan Oil Shampoo

     The long wait is over! Finally, I'm already using another organic product that I considered as my first organic shampoo. Remember my #NailaholicsGateway Bloggers' Event post? They added a big 350ml bottle of Morrocco Argan Oil shampoo in our loot bags. I never expected that after the wonderful service they gave us during the event, they still included us another bag full of wonderful goodies! I'm one happy kid when I got home :) Anyhoo, I've been using this shampoo for a month now. I'm using it every day! Huwaat? Everyday?! Yes dearies, every day. I'm sure long-time readers of this blog will insist that I'm breaking my hair care routine. I shampoo my hair 2-3 times a week because my tresses are not really exposed to dust and dirt. Since I stay at home most of the time, I do not worry that I'm already neglecting my hair by not shampooing it every time I take a bath. But when I've tried using this Morocco Argan Oil Shampoo for 7 days straight 3 weeks ago, I'm impressed with the results! That's the time when I decided to use this every day. 

     The only downside of this shampoo is the accessibility. I called Nailaholics Sm Fairview branch to ask for some information about the product.      Do you go gaga over chic, cute and pretty nail colors and designs? I know most of you (including me) loves to paint our nails with bright and bold colors every week or everyday, I guess?. Can you imagine your nails colorless? Well, prettifying our nails is not that easy. We need to invest in good quality nail polishes and tools because if we don't our nails will suffer from the chemicals found in cheap nail polishes sold in the market. If you're going to ask me, it's okay to buy local brand nail polishes but some of the brands that I've tried made my nails brittle and yellowish. I hate it when this happens to my nails. I'll share my experience to you on what happened during their bloggers' launch but first let me give you some important notes about Seche.

July Haul

      Before this month ends, let me share with you the products that I've purchased on different days. If you notice, most of the items here are my HG's so if you want to read my review I'll provide the link below. I want you to know that most of my "haul post" showcase my HG skin care brands. Pardon me because I try to veered away from buying things that I don't need and if I know it will irritate my skin, I'll skip it. I always think more than 10 times before buying new skin care product or makeup. I hope you'll not get bored of reading my haul post. But I assure you that there will be 1 or 2 items that's new so that I can share my review especially on latest cosmetic products in the market today that's budget friendly!

     

     So lets start with my favorite cleanser, Eskinol that I've been replenishing since the day I discovered it from Janet's review. I love this cleanser doesn't irritate my skin and didn't make my breakout worse even if I ran the soaked cotton ball on them. It just sting big time XD. My next purchase was Maybelline Make Up Remover, it's my 3rd bottle. I only use this if I have photo shoot and I need to remove my eye makeup. This baby melts away stubborn eye shadows and waterproof eyeliners :) I'm not planning to buy a new contact lens because I still have 3 designs that I use alternately during photo shoots but when I saw that Dull to Doll was having a clearance sale, I immediately purchased this one. It's purple and I already used it in one of my photo shoot weeks ago.

NOTD: My Nails But Better (MNBB)

     And because I already went to 2 spa parties, I think I have enough reasons now to make a Nail of the Day post (NOTD). I already mused my experience on Nailaholics Gateway Mall Cubao branch opening on this post #NailaholicsGateaway. Just click the link if you want to see what happened during the sparty that I attended with Aya of Codename Aya. I really had a blast during the event. I can't imagine I went home with my colored finger nails. Finally after all these years, I was convinced to paint my nails again. If you're a long time reader of my blog, I presume that you know I'm a stay-at-home mom and I'm hands-on with my son. I clean the bottles and wash some of our clothes. Because of this, I veered away from buffing and painting my nails with bright or even neutral colors. I only cut them when they grow and that's it. I remember an incident where I had my nails polished the night before my bridal photo shoot then I cleaned my son's feeding bottle that same night. When I woke up the next day I saw my nail polish got chipped. Thank goodness my nail polish color that time was Tan so it's less visible in front of the naked eye. 

     But because I had a very nice experience with Nailaholics and love the color selection of their nail polishes, I must say from now on I will regularly do a NOTD post! I hope you're all excited as I do. So let's start with my first entry :) I choose this color because I wanted something sheer. I never expected this color to be My-Nails-But-Better shade until it was applied on my fingers nails.

Product Review: LUCIDO-L Smooth and Sleek Straightening Milk

     Hellos! Happy weekend dearies ^_^ I'm back with another review. I've been using this product for quite some time now and I'm really impressed with the results. I have a natural straight hair that's very low maintenance. After taking a bath, I just let it dry by itself and I'm good to go. But when I started applying hair dye 2 years ago, my hair started to become frizzy and dry. At first I ignored it but when the problem became more noticeable, I need to look for a product that will somehow lessen the appearance of unruly hair strands. 

     
     Thanks to Madom and Watsons for bringing another hair care product  that caters to different bad hair day needs! This hair supplement is not only for straight hair, they also have other variants for wavy, textured, and curly hair. It also comes in oil and milk form. Aside from taming my misbehaving hair, it's also a treatment that will restore hair's moisture and shine. When I bought this bottle, I was only aiming to tame the frizzy ends of my locks so I just use it every time I go outside the house but after using the milk thrice, I decided to use it everyday since it's also a hair treatment.      I'm recently hooked on browsing Romwe's website. It's the first online shop where I saw different kinds of clothing that's wearable and stylish. They dubbed their clothing line as latest street fashion and extremely attractive. I must agree to that because I like the cutesy dresses stylish tops and unique trinkets from their collections. So after browsing every night, I bookmarked the clothes  and other accessories that I like and purchased a not so huge haul. Okay, it's HUGE because it's more than three (3) items. This is my first time to buy clothing items online and it feels good that you get what you expected. We all know that online shopping has it's pros and cons and one thing that I always doubt is the size. So to be sure, I bought a measuring tape and everything followed.  I used my gift certificates that Romwe sent me months ago. I'm such a happy kid when I received the items even though there were hassles going to the post office to claim the parcel (think about the horror stories on claiming your package). 

     About the horror stories, I think this is just an isolated case. Not all Post Offices here in our country have corrupt employees. Anyway, another great thing about this haul is that I got all the items on discounted prices :)

     Next week will be another chapter of my life where I'll be outside the house every day. I'm going to apply for a job inside the corporate or BPO world. I know it's time to work in a real office so that I can experience what's life outside my comfort zone. Yes, if ever I'll be hired that would be my first real job. Press Release: Clothing Stains No More with Nivea Deodorant Invisible for Black and White

The first deodorant with 48-hour anti-perspirant protection that leaves no white marks on dark fabrics and also minimizes yellow stains on light-colored clothes 

     Most common among the problems one encounters when using a deodorant are having stains left on the fabric of their clothing after use. A deodorant can cause two types of stains on clothing. The white marks that appear on dark textiles immediately after application are mostly residues of the antiperspirant salts used in the deodorant, which may be a temporary annoyance, but can be generally washed out without too much difficulty. 

     The cause of the second type of stain – yellowish stains in the underarm area on light fabrics – don’t appear immediately after deodorant is applied but often after several washes. They won’t come out with laundry detergent anymore and they get more noticeable over time as the fibers (of the textile) harden. This can make the garment unwearable.

Product Review: BYS Automatic Eye Pencil in 04 Super Soft Black

     This product is an impulse buy but I have no regrets buying it because it was actually a good buy! I'm not a fan of black liners. I find the color too off because I look mataray (snobbish) from the black eyeliners that I've tried before. I'm not sure if that's only my perception when I apply black eyeliner on my eyelids but I always doubt when it's black. I always say to myself  that it's not for me. If there are two things that I regard as my weapon to look simply pretty, that probably the lipstick and eyeliner. I don't know why I got hooked with eyeliners lately. Maybe it's because I noticed my eyelids look different from each other and to mask that I need to apply eyeliners may it be brown-my fave or black. Okay, a NEW fave :)

     So in search of my HG black eyeliner, I secretly spying on three brands whenever I go window shopping at malls around my area. Every time I swatch a gel or pencil eyeliner, I always have doubts inside my head. Aside from the brand, I always check the price. As I've said on the the very first paragraph of this post, it's an impulse buy. It happened months ago when I dropped by at Watsons Sm Fairview just to replenish my stock of Purederm Makeup Remover Wipes. The SA approached me and said she wanted to try their eyeliner on my eyelids since I'm not wearing my fave Choco eyeliner from Virginia Olsen that day. I was convinced because I saw a lady who just bought this and purchased three different colors. Well, I should thank her if ever we'll cross our paths again because my impulse buy is really worth it!

Nailaholics Gateway #HamptonsParty Bloggers Event

     Two weeks ago, I received an email from Mr. Ogie Rodriguez- PR Manager for Nailaholics Nail Salon and Spa. I can't believe what I saw that time and repeatedly read the event invitation. I was very surprised when someone from one of the country's most sought after nail salon and spa invited me to the opening of their 41st branch at Gateway Mall Cubao. Don't get me wrong why I'm so happy when I received an invite from this kind of event. First, I rarely just once posted a NOTD/ Nail of the Day entry.
