July Haul

      Before this month ends, let me share with you the products that I've purchased on different days. If you notice, most of the items here are my HG's so if you want to read my review I'll provide the link below. I want you to know that most of my "haul post" showcase my HG skin care brands. Pardon me because I try to veered away from buying things that I don't need and if I know it will irritate my skin, I'll skip it. I always think more than 10 times before buying new skin care product or makeup. I hope you'll not get bored of reading my haul post. But I assure you that there will be 1 or 2 items that's new so that I can share my review especially on latest cosmetic products in the market today that's budget friendly!

     

     So lets start with my favorite cleanser, Eskinol that I've been replenishing since the day I discovered it from Janet's review. I love this cleanser doesn't irritate my skin and didn't make my breakout worse even if I ran the soaked cotton ball on them. It just sting big time XD. My next purchase was Maybelline Make Up Remover, it's my 3rd bottle. I only use this if I have photo shoot and I need to remove my eye makeup. This baby melts away stubborn eye shadows and waterproof eyeliners :) I'm not planning to buy a new contact lens because I still have 3 designs that I use alternately during photo shoots but when I saw that Dull to Doll was having a clearance sale, I immediately purchased this one. It's purple and I already used it in one of my photo shoot weeks ago.

Product Review: GEO Super Nudy Gray XCH-625- The Bigger, The Better???

     As promised, I'll be making a review on my new GEO contact lens. I bought this new pair of colored contact lens last December and wore it only twice. If you're a reader of my blog, I'm sure you've seen my photo wearing my first GEO contact lens and made a review here :) 

     After looking at my photos wearing this lens, I can say I have a love-hate relationship with this style.

What I like:

• Made my eyes bigger like a doll.
• Affordable for a 1 year life span contact lens versus other brands.
• Comes in different designs,colors,sizes.
• Comes with a free lens case.

What I don't like:

• Looks unnatural on me, IMO.
• Uncomfortable to wear since it's bigger than the original size of my eyes.
• I need to lubricate my eyes every 30 minutes.
• Made my right eye "red" after using.
• Wearable for 3 hours only.

Will I repurchase: No

Recommendation:

     I give this a 3.5/5 rating. I love this because it made my eyes look bigger like a doll but it looks off on me. I also don't want to suffer my eye and feel uncomfortable. But I'm sure all fashionista, cos players, kikay, and everyone who loves wearing contact lenses will really like this. Just be sure to practice how to properly wear it. If not properly used, it will cause danger and harm to your eyes. Be sure to buy the authentic ones because there are a lot of fakes circulating around the market.

     Is it a Yay or a nyay? I need your help, I really can't decide :(

Product Review: Geo Contact Lens in CM 836- Want a dolly eyes?

     Today, I will make a post on one of my favorite accessory of all time. I'm a big fan of this since I was in high school. I remember saving up my allowance just to buy different colors of this. I fell in love with colored contact lenses. During those years, Freshlook was the most popular brand. They sell different colors. I always purchase hazel brown, blue, violet and green. I buy their promo of buy 3 get 1 pair for free.

     The contact lenses I purchased were disposable meaning it only lasts for 3 or 6 months. My mother gave me a pair of extended contact lens that lasts for a year in gray. Unfortunately my brother tore them after wearing in a fun run. To cut a long story short, I can say I'm a pro in wearing these stuffs.

     Until one day I got bored wearing contact lenses. But the curiosity in me got triggered when I saw on the internet three years ago these Geo contact lens. As I browsed different colors and sizes of these, I know I need to wear one of them. • Comes with a complete instruction manual (oops, I threw it already)
• Wearable for 6-8 hours on my eyes
• Affordable for a 1 year life span contact lens versus other brands
• Comes in different designs,colors,sizes
• Comes with a free lens case

What I don't like:

• Definitely None!

Will I repurchase: Yes!

      

     Actually I have this model in brown and another back-up in black.

Recommendation:

     I'm sure all fashionista, cos players, kikay, and everyone who loves wearing contact lenses will really like this. Just be sure to practice how to properly wear it.
