My Perfume Collection

     Aside from collecting MAC and Chanel lipsticks, I also go gaga over perfumes! I'm a fan of colognes and perfumes since high school and college days. Victoria's Secret is one of the famous brands of U.S. colognes that hit the Philippine shores in the late '90s and early 2000s. Every girl's dream is to have a bottle or two of them. My scents from VS as what we call them before are Passionate Kisses Love Spell and Coconut Passion.

     If my memory serves me right, I finished around six full-sized bottles of Victoria Secret then I switched to perfumes when my mother's cousin who works at Macy's Department in the US sent bottles of Benetton Hot and Cold for as pasalubong. From then on, I became interested to collect one perfume bottle yearly or when the budget permits. Sharing some of the perfumes in my collection that I divided into three categories: everyday scent, special occasion, and boss babe where I will share the latter in a sperate blog post.      Hi dearies! Hope everyone's having a great week so far. I miss writing this kind of blog post. When I was starting, I write a haul post weekly because I want to share what I bought from my weekend shopping.      This fashion item is becoming a favorite and a must-have for men these days. If my memory serves me right, some men prefer not to bring a small bag when strolling at the mall or grocery shopping with the family. They just want to keep their wallet inside their pocket and hold their mobile phones. But today, I've seen men sporting sling bags in different sizes and shapes. Hubby received a sling bag last year that's been used and abused already.

4. Shoes

     This gift item can be a bit expensive from the rest on the list but once received, a big smile on their faces will be seen. Who doesn't want to have a new pair of kicks this Christmas, right? 5. Wallet

     This prolly one of the basics but giving him a wallet will instill a habit of saving money. One of my bothers don't own a decent wallet before and he is complaining that there were times he forgot where he put his bills. I discovered that he only owns a small coin purse and don't mind having a wallet. He insisted that as long there's a coin purse, there's a place for paper bills. Fast forward today, he realized that a foldable wallet is important. It's not only for money, some of his important identification cards can be placed inside too. He was able to save money too because once he placed a paper bill inside, he's thinking twice whether to spend it or not especially if the paper bills are new.

Product Review: LUX Fine Fragrance Magical Spell Soap and Body Wash

    Do you consider bath time as your 'me time' and it excites you to try your favorite soap? Some women consider bath time not only as pamper time at home but also a time of relaxation and luxury. Yes, luxury because this is the time where we apply the skin care products that we consider effective and precious. I'm a fan of whitening and anti-aging soaps but when a mysterious brand of soap that looks so promising is whispering in my ears to try it, I usually give in.

     If you're a long time follower of this blog, I presume you already know that I have a very sensitive nose. The fragrance of the soap either make or break into my list of highly recommended products. Too much scent always give me a nauseous feeling while using the product BUT something magical happened 2 nights ago.

     I received a pretty purple pouch containing a bar of soap and a bottle of body wash. I was intrigued because the scent lingered in my room where I've placed the purple pouch.      By the way, I'm sure that you will have mixed reaction why I made the review this quick. Well, this soap is not a whitening nor an anti-aging soap so no need to see effects in two or three weeks time. This is a fine fragrance soap- a luxurious soap that's intended to leave skin smooth and fragrant. After using it for two days, I can say that the soap's scent is so nice that I don't want to wash the lather on my skin.

What I like:

• The soap and body wash comes in a luxurious packaging.
• There's an embossed floral design on the sides of the bar soap making the soap feel and look feminine and luxurious.
• The price- very affordable.
• It's a 2-in-1 product, you get a bar of soap and perfume in one bar or body wash.
• The scent- it's divine!
• Both produce a good lather.
• My skin felt soft and smooth to touch after using the product.
• The scent lingers on my skin for more than 6 hours.
• No allergic reaction, irritation, or whatsoever.
• It's easy to rinse.
• The NEW LUX Perfumed Bath Collection is available in four captivating scents. Choose your favorite from Magical Spell, White Impress, Soft Touch and Love Forever.
• There's a manufacturing and expiry date printed on the packaging.
• Easily accessible.

Will I repurchase? Yes! I'm itching to try the remaining 3 variants :)

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.75/5. If you want a soap that smells like you're wearing perfume, then you should try this. It's affordable and gives a luxurious bath. What made me highly recommend this is the scent as it lingers more than 6 hours on my skin even if I sweat. No need to spray your perfume, you'll be addicted sniffing your skin! 

     When I was in the dialysis center a while ago, my father asked me why I'm sniffing my arms over and over again. I said that I used LUX Magical Spell and it's a skin perfume. He got curious and will let him try just to make him believe that it's the LUX Fine Fragrance soap that gave my skin a luscious smell.
