Product Review: Mischka Derma Secret Advance Whitening Body Lotion

      Let's continue the series of product reviews from Mischka Derma Secret and last but not the least is their advance whitening body lotion. If you're a long time reader of this blog I'm sure you know that I'm a sucker for whitening lotions! I'm already fair to begin with but I have uneven skin tone that's why I still need this kind of lotion. I've tried so many brands in the market today and only a few got a perfect score because of important factors that I consider for it to be a HG material. I believe that whitening lotions should not only whiten the skin but protect it from the harmful rays of the sun so a decent amount of sunscreen should be present from its ingredients. Anti-aging factor? Why not?! Whitening plus anti-aging lotions would be one of the best combination not only for lotions but for soaps and other skin care products. If you're like me who loves to try different kinds of whitening lotions I'm sure you already know powerful whitening ingredients that will help you achieve whiter and glowing skin. The most popular ingredients are glutathione, arbutin, kojic, licorice and placenta. I'm pretty sure that most of the coveted whitening products today contains two or more of the ingredients that I've mentioned above. So if you really want to whiten and lighten your skin, make sure you do your research because not all the whitening ingredients will give you positive results.

      Anyhoo, I've been using this lotion on and off. If you ask me why, because it doesn't have spf and I'm too lazy to take evening bath this past two months because of the cold weather at night. This lotion is best applied before going to bed since it's not suitable for day time use. To tell you honestly, I have a love-hate relationship with this product. I love it because it's easily absorbed by the skin, the scent is okay and it helps me maintain my skin tone even if I'm exposed to harmful sun rays during day time but I hate it because it doesn't have spf and the price tag seems too high for budget conscious individual like me. Product Review: Essence Fix and Matte Translucent Loose Powder

     Happy Sunday dearies! I'm back with another review and this time let me share with you my favorite finishing powder as of the moment. As you all know I'm a late bloomer when it comes to makeup and this is my first time using a loose powder to seal the bb cream or liquid foundation on my face. Before I met this baby, I was using Majolica Majorca Skin Remaker Pore Cover as my finishing powder. I never thought that translucent loose powder acts more than a powder foundation. When I saw this brand from my fellow beauty bloggers, I asked them if a tub is worth the hype. Aya, one of my closest blogger friend said yes and without second thoughts I gave in. 

     I visited essence counter at Sm Fairview and grab myself a tub of this. The tub contains 15.5g of goodness that I'm still using up now. If my memory serves me right it's been a year since I bough this product. Product Review: Mischka Derma Secret Advance Gluta Blends Soap

     Hello dearies! Here's another product review from Mischka Derma Secret that was sent to me by the owner Ms. Michelle Rivera last month. The moment I saw this soap from the beauty loot, I was ecstatic because cute logos and heart designs are my weakness. I easily give in to beautiful product labels, packaging and the like. But more than that, I always check the ingredients of a product and when I see something different I get intrigued and for sure I'll be using it religiously without a doubt. I presume that you all know I'm a sucker for organic soaps/organic whitening soap because I have uneven skin tone. I'm already fair to begin with that's why you may ask why I need this variant of soap. Well, to tell you honestly I sometimes hate my skin tone. I easily get sunburned when exposed to sun. Since I wear flip flops everyday and fetching my son from school is one of my proof that my skin is very sensitive to sunlight. We go to my son's school around 10:00 a.m. then we'll walk from our street to the guard house to wait for our ride. It's a pain, I tell you! I can really feel the heat of the sun on the surface of my skin. 

     Okay go back to the review, this soap is a combination of four beautifying and lightening ingredients. There's milk gluathione, arbutin, rosehips and collagen. Even though the major whitening ingredients are milk glutathione and arbutin, the other two also helps in maintaining the skin suppleness and youthful glow. Pro-longed sun exposure can result to aging, wrinkles and skin cancer and that's where the rosehips and collagen do their part. I've been using this soap for more than three weeks now. I can say it helped me maintain my skin tone even if I'm always exposed to sunlight. But I don't attribute it to the soap alone, I also use sunblock and lotion for extra protection.
