     Hello dearies! Sharing my thoughts on the newest formulation of the infamous collagen brand- Meiji Amino Collagen Powder. If my memory serves me right, this is the 3rd time I'm going to review this collagen brand. I saw positive effects during the time I'm taking it that's why reviewing it again to see if it has the same results after finishing one can for a month.

     I have high hopes with Japanese supplements as they have the strictest standards when it comes to the manufacturing process. It's a brand of cheap yet effective food supplements ranging from nutritional, whitening, and anti-aging ones.      Ever since I started using makeup, I prefer makeup remover wipes because they are easy to use and easily accessible.      Biorè URU URU 2in1 Cleanser is really fun to use because of the foamy and creamy texture. I only need a single pump for light makeup. It has a rich lather and thick lather and doesn't cause friction when applying all over the face. it made my skin soft, smooth and radiant after cleansing. If you're using a heavy and waterproof mascara, you may opt to use the cleansing oil first before washing your face with this cleanser. I only wish there's a refill bag for this since the bottle is sturdy enough and will last a long time so it would be economical if they have refills instead of buying another bottle.

A little amount of Biorè Cleansing Oil goes a long way!

     I veered away from cleansing oil because I find it too thick for my combination skin. Since I don't use heavy makeup, I'm okay with cleansing wipes and facial foam cleansers. But I have to try and see if this cleansing oil lives true to the claims so I tested Biorè Cleansing Oil last week. I was surprised that Biorè's formulation is not heavy on my face, a little goes a long way and dissolves makeup quickly especially waterproof mascara. The only thing I noticed that it stings my sensitive eyes during application. It has a subtle fruity scent which is a plus for me because I also have a sensitive nose.

     This lightweight yet effective makeup remover lifts off makeup and dirt from pores, leaving skin soft and moist feeling. Micellar Water Technology dissolves and lifts off more traces of makeup including mascara and eyeliner with less tugging on skin. Biorè Micellar Cleansing Water has two variants- Moist Up for dry to normal skin and Oil Contol for Oily or Combination Skin.

     Drum roll please... my newest fave! At first, I thought I broke out using this but after using this alone to remove my HG (holy grail) makeup, I found out that the culprit is the Shiseido Foundation that I'm also road-testing. Anyhoo, this makeup remover is one for the books. It's Oil-free, fragrance-free, alcohol-free, colorant free, non-comedogenic, allergy and ophthalmologist tested.

     What I love about Biorè Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil Control Formula (for my combination skin)- its made from natural mineral water, super gentle on skin, did not break me out, no sting on my sensitive eyes, made my skin soft and supple. It has collagen, and in long time use can make pores looks smaller. Though the price may not be budget friendly, it lives up to its promise.

     Hello dearies! Sharing with you my thoughts on Orihiro Most Chewable Collagen. Yep, you've read that right- chewable collagen. I know collagen users will rejoice because this supplement from Orihiro is chewable. It's easy to ingest and smells so yummy too because of peach flavor. The only downside of Orihiro Most Chewable Collagen is the collagen content.

     I'm surprised to see that it only contains 400 mg of collagen for 2 tablets already. The required amount is 5,000 mg for ages 30 and above. Even though there's a small amount of collagen per serving size, I still saw a difference in my skin after taking it for two months. I guess the maximum results will be seen after consuming everything inside the bottle. Product Review: Fracora WHITE'st Placenta Serum

     Hello dearies! Sharing with you another review of my recent skin care product. I received a bottle of Fracora WHITE'st Placenta Serum months ago from Cheska's Store Online but did not use it right away because I'm still road testing a moisturizer from a start-up brand. I was intrigued with this serum when I read the description because it says made from 100% concentrated undiluted placenta extract. So basically it's really pure and water like when I peek inside the small bottle.

     I almost cringe in my seat to find out that a 30 ml bottle costs Php 2,200. Is this the miracle skin care product that we are looking for? Knowing Japanese standards, they will produce products that are effective even if some are not budget-friendly. To feed my curiosity and to know if this product is worth the price tag, I road-tested it for more than a month by applying the serum religiously day and night. The verdict? See my honest to goodness thoughts below :)

Use the dropper to get the product. Be careful not to spill a drop or two. There's a line in the dropper as you can see in the photo above. I always pump until it reaches that line and apply what I got on my entire face.

I don't have perfect skin. I have large pores cheek and nose area plus my Hori's Nevus 

What I like:

• It's package in a small bottle which is very handy and travel-friendly. 
• Fracora White'st Placenta Serum is made from 100% undiluted placenta so it's pure. 
• The texture- very light because it's like that of water. 
• This water-type serum is easily absorbed once applied. 
• Non-greasy. Not sticky. 
• The glow is really obvious in the morning after waking up. 
• Made my skin soft and smooth to touch. 
• It made my face brighter or should I say lighter and less oily. 
• Batch and manufacturing date printed at the bottom of the packaging. 
• Free from paraben, fragrance, and mineral oil.

What I don't like:

• The scent- there's a weird scent. A bit fishy for my sensitive nose but I can tolerate it as long as I will not inhale during application. 
• Since the texture is watery, it runs out fast. I always try not to spill a drop or two of this precious serum. 
• Expensive especially for budget conscious individuals or those who have tight budget. 
• Available online.

Will I repurchase?: Maybe.

Recommendation:

      I give this product a 4/5 rating. This serum is one of the best skin care products that I have tried to date but it's soo pricey. No breakouts, irritations, or whatsoever because the texture is watery. Still contemplating if I will buy another bottle since I find it so quick to run out. You can see in the photo above that I still have large pores and my Hori's Nevus is till there but lighter based on my observation.

     I will recommend this product if you have the budget to splurge and you have sensitive skin. Since the product is made only of three ingredients, I guess the percentage of breakouts and other skin reactions will be low.

     I took this supplement for 1 month and noticed that my skin is improving in terms of texture and appearance. I have fair skin but there are problems like Hori's Nevus, melasma, big pores, and uneven tone. While drinking this supplement, I can say that there are improvements on my pores which became tighter. Base on the photo below, my skin has a rosy tinge too.

What I like:

• It also contains other ingredients like Arginine, Glucosamine, and Vitamin C for other health benefits.
• I love the vanilla flavor. This is the most delicious collagen powder supplement that I've tried to date. Less to no fishy smell, unlike other brands.
• I didn't experience any discomforts like vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts or whatsoever.
• Made my skin glowing even I only have 4 hours of sleep.
• My skin is supple and soft to touch.
• My nails are less brittle and my hair fall lessened too.
• I look less haggard upon waking up. 
• Didn't make my look plump which I really like. No need to worry about double chin which I experienced with other collagen brands.

Will I purchase? Yes! My new favorite because aside from the collagen content it also has placenta and it's very affordable too!

Recommendation:

     I give this a 5/5 rating. The price is cheap and this is one of the best collagen supplement that I've tried so far. I noticed that my skin is moist and the pores around my nose became smaller. I have pre-mature wrinkles in the under eye area that's visible but during the time I'm taking this, I barely notice them.

     I will highly suggest this brand because it has less to no fishy smell and taste which is perfect for those who have a sensitive nose.

     Hello dearies, as promised here's the review of Meiji Amino Collagen supplement. It's not the first brand of collagen supplement that I've tried. There are local brands in the market today and most of them are easily accessible. What made me itch to try this product is the country of origin- Japan. We all know that most of the Japanese skin care products are of high quality and effective even if some have a high price tag.

     Like what I always say in my supplement reviews, before using anti-aging skin care product one must consult their dermatologist first if in doubt. Not all anti-aging skin care products are used by individuals who are 30 years old and above. Some use anti-aging skin care products because they're always exposed to the harmful rays of the sun, already see pre-mature wrinkles and other aging skin concerns.      The recommended daily intake of collagen should be around 3,000-5,000 mg a day. A scoop of Meiji Amino Collagen contains 5,000 mg already and once mixed with your favorite drinks, it becomes potent now that you'll be drinking it in liquid form. After consuming one can that is good for twenty-eight (28) days, I see promising and positive results not only in my skin but in my hair and nails. I noticed that when I was still taking the supplement, I look less haggard even if I only have 4 hours of sleep and running errands whole day.

You can still see eye bags in both photos, but on the second one, I look less haggard. Both photos were taken daytime and I also noticed one more thing, did I get lighter?

What I like:

• Meiji Amino Collagen is very affordable.
• It is FDA approved.
• Comes in a well-sealed can. It is double sealed- one with plastic wrap at the lid and another seal on top before opening the can. It's also available in refill pouch. Don't worry about measuring because it comes with a scoop.
• Meiji Amino Collagen also contains other ingredients like Arginine and Glucosamine for other health benefits.
• There's a mild fishy scent and my sensitive nose can tolerate it. The scent disappears once the powder is dissolved in liquid drink/s.
• I didn't experience any discomforts like vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts or whatsoever.
• It made my skin glowing even if there were times that I only have 4 hours of sleep.
• Made my skin soft and supple.
• My nails are less brittle and my hair fall lessened too.
• I always wake up with plump and moist skin. I look less haggard too.
• My skin looks healthy and shiny- not the 'oil' type of shine, if you may ask.
• Batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the package.

What I don't like:

• Not easily accessible.
• Since it made my skin plump, I look like I gained weight. I can see fats under my jaw.  

Will I purchase? Yes! This is in my oral anti-aging supplement list and will buy a refill every now and then when I ran out of stock. Good thing there is a refill with the same price of the can but has an extra scoop for two days.

Recommendation:

     I give this a 5/5 rating. The price is very affordable and this is the best collagen supplement that I've tried so far. Since I don't have crow's feet around my eye area, I'll be neutral on that. I have pre-mature wrinkles in my undereye that's visible if my concealer creases but during the time I'm taking Meiji Amino Collagen supplement, I rarely see my concealer crease. 

     I'm happy that I only have a few fine lines and wrinkles that are unnoticeable as of the moment. While taking the supplement, I did see a minor change in the size of my pores and my skin felt a bit tight and made my skin plumper so I look like I gained a little weight in photos. Plumper skin emphasized the extra fat in my jaw area.      Okay, so I've realized that I'm already in the stage that I need to amp up my anti-aging skin care regimen. I'm thirty three years old to be exact and women at this age should be more concern in minimizing wrinkles, lift sagging skin, prevent hyper pigmentation, and other skin care dilemma in the anti-aging department.

     So today, I'll be sharing a review of another famous anti-aging plus whitening skin care supplement from Japan- Fracora Placenta Capsule. Does the word placenta scares the hell out of you?I presume that you're thinking of other kind of placenta but fret not as the main ingredient of this supplement was derived from porcine (pig) placenta. Three capsules before bedtime

     
     Since this is my first time to take placenta, I will not make a comparison with other brands thus will share my experience after finishing one pack. I took three soft gel capsules before bedtime with warm water. 

What I like:

• The packaging- it's in a handy and travel-friendly resealable pouch.
• It's in a soft gel capsule for faster absorption.
• It's easy to swallow since the size of each soft gel capsule is small compared to other supplements in the same form as fish oil, grapeseed extract, and other medicines.
• No weird or funky smell.
• It makes my skin glowing. A glow like that of a mirror reflecting light. 
• My skin feels soft and smooth to touch.
• I noticed that it somehow reduced the size of my pores in my nose and cheek area.
• It maintained my skin tone. I was in Batangas last holy week and we visited different churches for the Visita Iglesia. I basked in the sun for more than five hours. Of course, I have an umbrella with me and I applied sunblock too. It's very hot that day and without maximum protection, the heat and the air can also contribute to skin darkening. Since I'm taking Fracora, I guess it's an added protection against intense sunlight.
• It made me sleep better at night.
• No allergies, breakouts, or whatsoever.
• Batch, manufacturing, and expiry date printed at the bottom of the packaging.

What I don't like:

• The price- steep for budget conscious individuals.
• I did not notice any whitening effect as what the product claims on its benefit.
• Can only be purchased online.
• Neutral on the wrinkles part as I don't have visible wrinkles yet. 

Will I repurchase: Yes, it's possible!

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.5/5 rating. I think I need more than a month to see the effects on wrinkles and sagging skin. If you're in your middle and late twenties, I suggest you incorporate anti-aging skin care products into your daily regimen. If you wanna age gracefully, investing in topical anti-aging products is a must. If you have the extra budget and you think that it's time to take anti-aging a step further, then taking anti-aging supplements will do.

     I can say placenta supplement is best combined with collagen so, in my next review, I will share with you another collagen supplement that I'm currently road testing and will finish a can soon. But for now, I will still recommend this supplement if you want to start adding an anti-aging supplement in your usual whitening one.
