Feature: Beauty and Bright Natural Skin Lightening Soaps

     I'm a huge fan of organic and natural products particularly organic bath soaps. They're my skin's bestest friend. If my memory serves me right, I've tried 5 brands already. These include Cyleina, Bare Naturals, All Organics and Snoe. Most of these brands offer a wide array of variants depending on your skin need. I've also tried Camaru Naturals but their charcoal soap was too harsh for my sensitive skin. If you're a long time reader of this blog, I'm sure you know how much I love All Organics and Snoe White. Their soaps became a staple skin care product for my face and body. Even though I've already found my HG (holy grail), I still need something that will complete the list of ingredients that my aging skin needs. 

     There's a new player in town! Introducing Beauty and Bright by Droplets of Nature. If you'll ask me what's the difference of these soaps from the ones that I've tried before, my answer will be based on their ingredients and the serum bar. Intrigued much? I'm using the serum bar for more than 3 weeks now but before I share my thoughts about Beauty and Bright, it's best to know why I think their soap is very promising ;)

SWITCH to NATURAL! 

The combination of the Three Power Oils that is more effective than arbutin but safer than hydroquinone? 

The first bar: The light purple bar shows the percentage of melanin control when you use the power oils , hydroquinone or arbutin.

The second bar: The darker purple shows the increase in the percentage of melanin reduction when you increase the percentage of power oils , hydroquinone (HQ) or arbutin. While HQ may give you the fastest result to lighten- it is NEVER safe. You can not go under the sun because by doing that may cause an irreversible damage to your skin. Aside from that, HQ is very toxic- You CAN NOT increase its concentration because it can be very harmful to the skin.

Product Review: Snoe White Lightening Licorice Beauty Bar

     If there's one thing in my bath staple that I can't live without now, that would probably bath soaps. Not one but two variants of beauty bars to be exact. Obviously I'm hooked with organic soaps and when I say organic soap, without a doubt Snoe white is the brand that I trust. Again, I'm using these beauty bars for more than a year now. I just mix and match each variant depending on my skin needs. Using these soaps doesn't mean my skin is perfect and flawless. I have fair skin to begin with and having a fair skin should not be coined as flawless. Yes, my skin tone is fair to light (I'm NC 15-20) but my skin is very sensitive with uneven tone, blemishes and freckles. So before you say that I'm lucky to have this complexion, I'm telling you that I'm not. I also have skin care problems that I mentioned above and as years pass by my skin tends to become more and more sensitive.

     Since my problem is to even out my skin tone and lighten dark spots, I need a soap that is made for sensitive skin. Do you love reading product labels? If you do, then I guess you already know that using whitening soap can make your skin very sensitive. That's why some of the trusted brands in the market include warning labels/precaution in using the soap. I noticed that most whitening soaps in the market today contain harsh ingredients that's a no-no for sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin and you want to lighten blemishes and dark spots, Snoe white Lightening Licorice beauty bar is the soap that I would recommend to address those problems.

What I like:

• It's organic!

• Doesn't melt fast.
• There's a little pinkish glow on my arms and legs. My skin is pale white but after using this soap for more than a month it's now a little pinkish white.

• Affordable.
• Has manufacturing and expiry date printed on packaging.

What I don't like:

• I can't figure out the smell. It's not overpowering but I can't tolerate it. The least appealing soap for me when it comes to the scent.
• Since this is a gentle in terms of whitening, you'll not see immediate results.

Will I repurchase? Maybe YES- if my skin becomes very sensitive and needs to rest. Maybe NO- if I want to lighten dark spots and uneven skin tone intensively. 

Recommendation:

     I give this soap a 4/5 rating. Use the soap as instructed. Always use sunblock with spf 30 or higher to protect your skin from the sun. Yay! This is the 6th Snoe White soap that I've tried to date. Among the 5 variants of Snoe:Vitamin C Rich Calamansi, Organic Green Papaya, The Special Black Bleaching Bar, Special Kojic and Glutathione and Organic Papaya Beauty Bar, this is the mildest that I've tried on my body. Didn't use this on my face because I broke out with licorice soap before from another brand. There's 10 Snoe white beauty bars to choose from so now I'm down to only 4. What variant do you want me to try next?

Product Review: Snoe White Organic Papaya Beauty Bar

     Finally, I'll be sharing my thoughts on this soap after using it for more than 3 weeks now. You now that I love Snoe white soaps sooo much! This is my 5th variant of soap from Snoe and methinks their soap was formulated for my skin. From Vitamin C Rich Calamansi, Organic Green Papaya, The Special Black Bleaching Bar, Special Kojic and Glutathione soaps that I considered award-winning in terms of whitening department, here's another soap from Snoe to love. I'm also adding this soap on the list above because I also find this effective in terms of whitening but it's very gentle on skin. So if you're confused and don't know what soap to choose among the 10 variants, then Organic Papaya will be the best bet for sure. 

     When you visit the FB page of Snoe Beauty particularly on Snoe White beauty soaps, you'll see a chart where you can select a soap bar that can give you 2 or 3 results in just one bar. This chart already indicated the variant of soap depending on your skin needs. But always remember that each soap will have different reactions on each individual because we have different skin types and conditions. I'm hoping that you'll also consider some factors like your age and make sure you know if you're allergic to one of its ingredients so that you can have peace of mind in trying new soaps. Now here it is, my honest to goodness review of another soap that I'm sure you'll see on my next haul posts :D Enjoy reading!

• There's a certain glow on my skin after use.
• Doesn't dry my skin.
• Everytime I use this on my face, I feel my skin becomes soft and smooth to touch.

What I don't like:

• Since this is a gentle in terms of whitening, you'll not see immediate results.

There's 10 variants of Snoe white soaps to try and it's formulated to cater every skin need. Yay! This is the 5th variant of soap from Snoe that I'm also loving now. It's gentle and mild in terms of whitening. I guess I have to make this another substitute in my HG snoe soaps so that my skin will have a resting period and will not be immune to those ingredients. I highly recommend this soap, my skin loves it! Methinks of making combo soaps after trying all the 10 variants so that I can recommend which soap goes best with.

     I'm an organic soap user for more than 3 years now if I'm not mistaken. When I started my love for organics specially soap bars, I try to veered away from branded soaps sold in the market. Even though there are times that they catch my attention because of the ingredients written on it, I still try to find a way to avoid it. But sometimes my curiosity fangs can't be tamed.      When I saw this soap from the brochure, I was discussing to my SIL that I'm having second thoughts of trying new soap again because I don't want to suffer from the negative result it may give. I also read that there's a SUN BURN ALERT written on the packaging. But because of that alert, it also gave me an idea that the soap was very intensive when it comes to whitening. I ignored it that day but when I went back at my SIL's house the next day, she handed me the soap already. I was really hesitant at first but the doubts were replaced with my curiosity. So I accepted it and said to myself may the odds be in my favor :)

      I have a confession to make, sometimes I lose my patience on reviewing skin care products. It takes time and so much effort to use a certain product so that I can see the results. I really want to test it for weeks even for months because that's the time when I'll see significant results on my skin and body. It's also like a gamble, you will never know the result. Just try it and see for yourself. But I'm happy because I can share the good and the bad of the product with you. I'm just lucky because most of them gave positive outcome on my skin.

What I don't like:

• I'm not a fan of smell. Commercial brand soaps have this kind of smell that pisses me off.
• Haven't seen significant changes on my skin tone. I'm fair to begin with and I just want to lighten dark spots caused by mosquito bites on my legs.
• You need to use sunblock cause the  ingredients like AHA, retinol and some whitening stuff may cause sunburn when exposed to sun. So you have really have to be cautious using this soap.
• You have to look for a reseller and sometimes, they're 1 in a million. Just kidding! Since Splash direct selling is a newbie compared to AVON, the Splash ladies (if that's the way to call them) are still few.

Will I repurchase? No, there's sooo many brands of soap readily available in leading supermarkets and I'm more into organic now :)

Recommendation:

     I give this soap a 3.5/5 rating. Use the soap as instructed. Not to be used for sensitive skin. This product contains an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that may increase the skin's sensitivity to sun and the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear a protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards. So take extra precautions and always follow instructions while using this soap.

     I wanted to support my favorite fashion bloggers that's why I decided to drop by at the Bazaar for All Season last November 4 and that's a Sunday. Watsons + SNOE Beauty Haul

     Hello there! Just a quick haul post for today. I asked Kenzo to watch Little Einsteins from the TV so I'm here typing faster than the usual because I told him this: mommy will borrow the laptop, count 1-10! Hehehe! So last weekend I went shopping to replenish my bath essentials and look what I found at Watsons, a charcoal toothbrush! My toothbrush brand is Colgate but the charcoal thing-y caught my attention so I decided to buy it and see what's the difference from the regular bristles. I ran out of conditioner and my plan was to try the Dove conditioner for color-treated hair. I haven't seen this variant before and I'm not sure if it's available here already. My cousin mentioned it to me a month ago. I tried looking for it at Watsons and Sm supermarket but I found none. My second option was Color Me Happy but it's OOS so my last resort was Pure Beauty Treatment Conditioner and it's my 2nd bottle now.

     Since I'm very busy lately and have no time to book for an appointment at my fave waxing salon, I just bought this hair removal paper and use the remaining Strip It wax that I won from a giveaway. I ran out of facial wipes and the aloe vera variant was OOS so I opted for the green tea instead.

     Hi there! This will be a quick post for today. I'm squeezing in this review before doing mommy duties because Kenzo will be up in no time now and he'll be watching cartoons till sunrise on YT. 

     I really love Snoe! I'm using 3 variants of Snoe white beauty bar for more than 6 months now. I can say it's really effective especially in giving my skin the glow it needs. I'm currently using Vitamin C Rich Calamansi, Special Black Bleaching and Organic Green Papaya. I use them alternately depending on my mood or when I want to target specific problems in my face and body.      Red is one of my favorite colors. That's why I got sold when I saw this variant of Snoe white soap at Cinderella, Sm Farview. Aside from the color, I'm sure that kojic-gluta combination is a must try. These 2 powerful whitening ingredients will surely give the boost that my skin needs- in the whitening department per se. Since I'm already fair, I want to even out some parts of my body that's always exposed to the heat of the sun.

There's 10 variants of Snoe white soaps to try and it's formulated to cater every skin need. I already tried and tested 4 of them and I'm sure that I'll be trying another variant soon. This soap is what I've used during my rest period from the special black bleaching bar. It's somehow milder and whitens gently. I highly recommend this soap, my skin loves it!

     Hello loves! Been very busy last week hence lack of post. Have you joined my three giveaways yet?      My original plan was to restock on All Organics Lemongrass toner when I claimed my Laniege Snow BB Cushion at Trinoma. But I can't resists the urge to buy a bar of my favorite Calamansi soap even though I still have one in my closet (yes, I keep them in my closet so that my clothes will smell citrusy :P) and a new one in my soap dish.

     I was in a hurry that day but when I passed by the Snoe counter, I decided to buy another bar of soap. The Special Black Bleaching bar was out of stock that day and the SA said that they already had a Snoe counter at Sm Fairview located inside Cinderella. Yehey!!! I can now buy my favorite soaps from Snoe anytime I want since SM Fairview is just 10 mins away from our house.

     Yay! Another soap from Snoe white, I heard Kojic and Glutathione combo is another way to effectively even out skin tone. Let's see if this will pass my standards when it comes to whitening department. I have high hopes with Snoe and I'm sure this will be another HG.

Product Review: Nisce Whitening Soap

     Hi guys, tomorrow is Friday so any plans for the weekend? I'll be at the Dialysis center again for my father's treatment. I'm always outside the house which I really don't like but I have no choice. As much as possible, I always stay away from the scorching heat of the sun. Staying more than two hours outside makes me lightheaded and for sure will give me headache before the day ends. Another thing that I don't want to happen when staying long hours in the sun is the hyper-pigmentation that I get even though I'm using sunblock. My skin tends to be very sensitive when hit by the sun and for sure will give me uneven skin tone and darkening.

     I'm super satisfied with organic soaps that I use everyday. If you're a reader of this blog from the start, I know you know that I love organic soaps from All Organics to Cyleina and Snoe Beauty. I'm using different variants alternately and depending on my skin needs. But sometimes I really got curious trying other soaps that looks promising. I always say to myself that I found my holy grail and just ignore them. But there's no harm in trying as long as you know the limitations :D When I attended the Niscenssa Online Store Launch, two products caught my attention. I already tried their Dr. Skin+ toner and I love the results on my skin. I'm so thankful when I discovered that another product that was glued on my eye during that evening came home with me inside the loot bag :)))

     I was very hesitant at first, asking myself to use it or not? I scrutinized the ingredients and found out that it contains three whitening agents and beauty oils. I braved myself to use it even if I'm not sure about the effects it will give on my sensitive skin. So to be safe, I cut the soap into half and tried it for two weeks. I'm happy that nothing bad happened to my skin. I pair this soap with All Organics Calamansi so that if ever a bad reaction occur, there's a savior that will counter irritations. And after finishing the whole bar two days ago, I'm sure you're excited how did it fare with my skin. Read on to discover if this soap is a Yay or a Nyay...

What I like:

• The price- very affordable for a 135g product.
• Doesn't melt fast, doesn't break or deform its shape even up to the last bits.
• The scent is not overpowering.
• Makes my skin soft and smooth.
• The whole bar lasted me more than a month.
• Can be bought online and shipping is free :D
• No irritation and stinging.
• This soap helped me maintain my skin tone (I'm always outside the house between 10am and 3pm doing errands and walking in and out of the hospital)

What I don't like:

• Contains some synthetic chemicals which I'm trying to avoid as much as possible.
• Not easily accessible for those who doesn't want to buy online. The nearest branch is far from where I live.
• A little dryness which I guess will always be there after using whitening soaps.

Will I repurchase? Yes! I like that it's packed with 3 whitening ingredients (Kojic Acid, Arbutin and Glutathione). 

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4/5 rating. A cost effective whitening soap that really works! If you still haven't considered organic soaps as your new companion in terms of whitening, then I highly recommend this soap to you. I love organic whitening soaps but this one is very promising. It contains 3 whitening agents so instead of buying them separately (Kojic Acid, Arbutin and Glutathione), you can have them in just one bar. I can say that using this religiously for more than a month will give you a whiter, smooth and blemish free skin.
