4 Best Things To Do in Singapore (After Pandemic- 18 to 24 months)

Friday, May 08, 2020

Singapore will always have a special place in my heart. The first country that I've been to thrice in a span of ten years- 2008, 2016, and 2019. I lived there for three months in 2008, joined the Safeguard Science Discovery Tour with my son last 2016, and had a short vacation with my family to celebrate my son's birthday last June. There are so many things to do in Singapore. Shopping at the famous shopping spot- Bugis Shopping Centre, eating and drinking to your heart's content at Hawker Centers, exploring Lion City from day to night to watch different attractions and many more!

However, all of these will be put on hold if you are planning to travel this year. According to health experts and travel authorities, it would take up to 18 to 24 months for the travel industry to recover, and traveling will never be the same again. There will be a lot of changes- expensive plane tickets, additional requirements aside from passport and visa, long hours from boarding to departure for necessary checks, and the list will go on before reaching your destination. Let's face reality and still hope for the best that this pandemic will be over soon so that we can all travel safely once we are really back to normalcy. Sharing 4 Best Things To Do in Singapore based on what we did last year :)

Feature: CEB Meals

Sunday, July 28, 2019

Our flight back to Manila was squeezed in between breakfast and lunch that’s why I decided to include pre-ordered meals which I booked together with our tickets. While browsing the website, I noticed that Cebu Pacific has new menu offerings, with vegetarian options and an array of snacks ad meals that include Asian cuisines.

Cebu Pacific showcases Asian Flavors in its new pre-ordered meals for snacks and meals that include Chinese, Japanese, and Korean delights. Each meal is offered P250 and upon seeing the selection, I was relieved that some viands are our favorites. Sharing CEB Meals viands we ate during our flight back home inside Cebu Pacific Aircraft.

I always tell my husband that I'm not good at directions so if you don't want to get lost, don't bother asking me "how to get there?" or "are we near this or that place?" especially when traveling abroad.  Reading guide maps don't help at all that's why a stable internet connection is our best friend when we visit a foreign land.

If you are a first-timer abroad or you're a frequent flyer, staying connected is now a must-have in every traveler’s journey. According to Ms. Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Vice President for Marketing and Distribution, "we have looked into how we may delight our passengers further and make more moments happen on their travels so no more #FOMO for Cebu Pacific passengers with the launch of CEB WiFi Kit. One of the essentials that a traveler must have to access the internet anytime, anywhere. More about the CEB WiFi Kit after the jump :)

Our Wonderful Ocean Park Hong Kong Experience via Klook Travel Philippines

Friday, April 19, 2019

Hong Kong is one of the international destinations that I will highly recommend to families traveling with kids for an awesome vacation. There are so many family and kid-friendly attractions in this country aside from shopping and food tripping. I've been to Hong Kong thrice and I will never get tired of coming back for more vacations in the years to come.

We celebrated my son's 9th birthday in one of my dream amusement park destinations located in the Southern District of Hong Kong- OCEAN PARK :) It is the second largest in the country and considered as one massive park because it's also a marine park, an oceanarium, an animal theme park in one. We spent half a day at Ocean Park because there was an unexpected typhoon during our visit but there were no regrets because we all had a blast. Sharing our experience, tips, and what to expect at Ocean Park Hong Kong and why it is best to book your tickets online via Klook :)

Explore Japan and Get Cozy at Karaksa Hotel

Monday, July 31, 2017

My ultimate dream destination is in the land of the rising sun, Japan! I have a thing with Japanese culture and studying basic Nihonggo when I was in college is one of the proof that I'm so in love with their culture. It's every Pinoy traveler’s dream destination-why wouldn’t it be, the place is screaming with so much culture and life, and every attraction is bucket-list worthy: the gleaming temples and architectures, modern cityscapes a la sci-fi film, stunning parks in vibrant colors, heavenly hot springs—all begging to be explored. In fact, Japan is the fourth most-visited country in Asia last year according to the World Tourism Organization, so it’s no doubt that it’s on top of most people’s bucket lists.

I'm saving big time for our Japan trip in the future and when travel comes to mind, the first thing to consider is the accommodation. Where to stay and how much will it cost? I think I've found an answer that I'm sharing with you after the jump :)

Water is basic necessity and potable drinking water might not always be available when travelling. Always carry bottles of drinking water like B’lue Water in Orange and Lychee for a little twist to your regular water.

Maintain access to important vitamins and minerals by packing produce that doesn’t easily bruise like Alfa’s Fuji apples and Australian Crimson grapes. But with all the stuffing of items in the bag the possibility of the produce turning into mush is nigh, which brings us to another important item.

6. Containers
Season travelers know the value of hard-sided containers. Use Saw Glass Foodkeeper with locks and Boseal Round Glass Heat to protect packed produce and other things. It is wise to invest in leak-proof containers such as these, as they are convenient and efficient. For water bottle, Lock n' Lock is your best bet.
