Product Review: SNOE White Organic Green Papaya

     Hi, Im back! As promised, I'll share with you my experience on Snoe White's Organic Green Papaya after two weeks of using it. If your like me who loves reading every bit of information on product labels, you will see its claim of whiter skin in two weeks. If I were to gauge the soap on the whitening department, I can say that two weeks time is such a short period to see its effectiveness because in my own experience on using different whitening soaps, it takes more than a month of using it religiously. Well maybe its only me and my "balat sibuyas" skin (thin skin) that is immune to whitening products so it takes a lot of time to achieve maximum results. But oh boy, I'm amazed with this soap because I can see drastic changes on my skin within a short span of time given that I stayed more than 5 hours exposed in the sun around 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. last week. So here's my take on organic green papaya soap, my new HG soap :)

instruction for use: wet skin, lather beauty bar and apply thoroughly. leave on skin for 2 minutes. expect a slight tingling or prickly sensation. rinse thoroughly. for best results use sunblock with spf30 after bathing.

ingredients: Green Papaya Pulp, Bearberry and Fruit Extracts, Vitamin C and E, Jojoba Oil, High Grade Coconut Oil

What I like:

• It's organic!
• Cute packaging.
• Doesn't sting my eyes. 
• Doesn't melt fast.
• The scent is not overpowering.
• Smooth and gentle on my skin.
• There's a lightening on dark marks in my legs caused by insect bites.
• Easily accessible.
• Affordable.

What I don't like:

• No batch, manufacturing and expiry date 

Will I repurchase? Yes! I'm on my second bar now. I'm itching on trying other variants but I want to use it religiously to see maximum results.

Recommendation:

     I give this soap a 4.25/5 rating. Use the soap as instructed. Organic soap does not contain any  soap hardener and our hot humid weather will make the soap melt faster. I always cut the soap in half. I highly recommend this soap, my skin loves it!

Hg's Haulin' Part II

     Hi dearies! How's your Saturday morning? I'm craving for some milk tea and cream puff :) I'm not sure if I'll satisfy my cravings later when we go outside because I still have a lot of house chores to do. I'm a bit lazy today and sleep deprived again :( My son is not feeling well. He wasn't able to sleep comfortably due to his coughs and colds. He cries every now and then because of his clogged nostrils. How I wish I can put a magic spell so that he'll feel better right away. 

     I'll make this post quick by sharing what I bought yesterday after my father's check up at Asian Eye Institute TriNoma. Here's what I got:

     I've been very busy last two weeks because my father underwent cataract operation and I'm the one responsible getting his laboratory results and cardio-pulmonary clearance. I'm also sleep deprived so my skin is acting up lately and I ran out some of my skin and hair care essentials that's why I need to replenish my stocks. I'm torn between Kao Prettia in Chiffon Beige or Kao Prettia Platinum Beige. I want my hair really light this time bordering from light brown to blonde. Any suggestions? Thanks for sharing!

Product Review: Love At First Try: Landmark Retractable Kabuki Brush

     Hi dearies! What's with the weather lately? Last weeks been very humid and hot, the scorching weather kept me from going outside to do some errands. Then yesterday I saw the gloomy sky and predicted that the weather's gonna be fine. So summer isn't it? Haven't watched the news lately so I'm not updated if there's a typhoon or whatsoever advisory is coming and all I know that climate change is inevitable. Anyhoo, I wanted to make a review about my new baby the day I laid my eyes on them but I said to myself that I have to test it first so that I can share my honest opinions on it. By the way, this is my first makeup brush and I don't know how to make a comprehensive review about it.  Please bear with me, I'll try to make this simple as possible :)

What I Like:

• Really affordable Cheap!
• The appearance looks classy and nice.
• It's very soft and dense.
• Easy to wash and dry.
• No shedding while washing. 

What I don't like:

• It has a weird smell

Will I repurchase? Yes! I want to buy other brushes like the kabuki with no case, Jenny 007 blush brush and other basic makeup brushes that a beginner like me should have.

     I'll end my post without recommendation since I'm new to makeup brushes, I need to try it first so that I can make a little comparison about the product. Have you tried Landmark brushes?Which one is your favorite? I hope you can share your experience with them.

Eye Makeup Essentials

     Hello lovelies! I just want to share something that is very essential to me. I call this my eye makeup. Can I call this such sans the eyeshadow? Well for me, yes. Since I don't put eyeshadow even on special occasions, these things somehow makes my puffy eye bags less noticeable and my not so oily lids at bay. To complete my look, I use mascara and fill the gaps of my brows with eyebrow wax and powder.

     I'll be posting my reviews on the first three listed above soon. Reviews are already posted just click the links below the photo. As of now, I'm trying to learn how to apply basic eye makeup suited for daytime work. I'll be working few months from now so I have to cope with some major adjustments at home and in my work place. This will be my first "real job" after graduating years ago. It's a long story and a bit frustrating but I can share it to you on a separate post if I have the guts to one of these days.

     Any suggestions for budget friendly eye makeups e.g. undereye concealer, eyelid primer, eyeliner and eyeshadows? Thanks for sharing!
