Product Review: CalChews Calcium Soft Chews + Vitamin D and K

     Finally, got another time to make a review. I miss doing product reviews specially if they're really effective! I'm always excited to share the good news as well as not so good news. If you'll ask me why not so good news is included here, well if I have a review of a product that failed my expectations, I want it to serve as a guide to consumers. I'm not saying that it doesn't patronize the product because it gave me negative reactions. Remember that we are all different and there are certain products that will work for me and not for you or vice versa.

     Let's go back to the review. I've been seeing CalChews even before Sample Room announced that they'll be having samples of this calcium food supplement. For those who have no idea about the product, CalChews is first calcium supplement in the market in soft chew form that offers an easy and delicious way of getting one's recommended daily dose of calcium. It's the only calcium brand that is enriched not only with Vitamin D3 but also with Vitamin K – vitamins essential for optimum bone health. When I was pregnant with my son, I'm required to take Calcium for my baby's bone health. Almost all calcium brands in the market today look the same in terms of size and shape. I can still remember that during the time I'm taking calcium, I had a hard time swallowing the caplet.      Happy Easter to all! Let the egg hunt begin :) So before you go out today and celebrate this special day let me share with you my first NOTD for 2014. I know it's super later post since I had this nail color last January. It's my second time using a gel polish to date and I think I already found the right kind of nail polish for my nails. My finger nails are soaked to laundry detergents and dish washing soap most of the time that's why regular and premium nail polishes easily crack and get chipped right after my manicure. I have mommy duties and I can't prevent my hands from getting wet all day long. Anyhoo, aside from my manicure I would also like to show you my pedicure because I'm really diggin' the color that I got for my toe nails. It's not gel polish though but it lasts more than 2 weeks or 1 month the most. The brand of gel nail polish that was used here is Jennifer Lynn. I'm not familiar with the brand but it's made in the US. There were so many colors to choose from and I totally had a hard time choosing because all of them looked gorgeous! Etude House Princess Run 2014 Registration EXTENDED!!!

     This coming May, a lot of activities for mother and women will happen to celebrate Mother's Day. Different ways of celebrating this special day for mothers became a tradition that's why Filipino families do their best to make this day extra special. We celebrate mother's day with simple gathering at my parent's house. My mom will just cook our favorite food. This kind of celebration became cliche that's why when Etude House Philippines invited me to the media launch of Etude House Princess Run, the idea of simple gathering should be set aside first and try something new. Even though the actual event will happen two weeks after Mother's day, it's still a day of celebration for all the mothers and women. Support Filipino Fighters at One Fighting Championship Rise of Heroes

     After the fight of Manny Pacquiao today, another much-awaited event is going to happen on May 2, 2014- the One Fighting Championship Rise of Heroes at Sm Mall of Asia Arena. Three Filipino fighters will showcase their skills in mixed martial arts that's gaining popularity among Filipino sports enthusiasts.

     During my childhood days, I've been a fan of wrestling and martial arts that's why when Ms. Charmaine of One Fighting Championship invited me to the open media workout of ONE FC fighters Eduard Folayang, Jujeath Nagaowa and Eugene Toquero last April 2, at Ultimate Fitness Metrowalk, I was ecstatic and very excited. Since this blog also tackles some fitness and health issues, I didn't hesitate to accept the invitation and immediately shared the good news to the hubby who's also an avid fan of boxing, wrestling and mixed martial arts. To be honest, I really don't know the fighters that's why we had a  little research on them before we made an interview. If you're a One Fighting Championship fanatic, prolly you already know these fighters and their backgrounds. I'm sure you know how they've started training for One FC and how many fights they have won. As much as I wanted to give details on these players, I'll focus this post on what happened during the open media workout. The hubby made a short video on Eduard Folayang's power-house kicks and Eugene Toquero's moves. Will also show some photos of Jujeath Nagaowa- the first One Fighting Championship female fighter in the Philippines. It's her debut fight so I guess our 100% support means a lot!
