Product Review: Maybelline Makeup Remover- Eye and Lip

Wednesday, January 21, 2015

Remember my post that I'm ranting on my broken camera? Now it's times two! My son accidentally kicked the laptop that I'm using and something happened to its hard drive. I don't know if my hubby can fix it or we'll just buy a new hard drive and try to save our precious photos from the broken one. But I'm still thankful that I can use the old desktop computer in our house and can access the internet from time to time.

Anyhoo, I want to share my thoughts on my first makeup remover. I really don't use makeup remover because my skin care routine only includes facial wipes and soap for removing bb cream and lipstick and eyeliner but lately I'm fond of using mascara that's why I decided to buy makeup remover for my eye. I know that some mascara is a pain to remove and you'll ended up with panda eyes. Since I'm using a waterproof mascara, I need a semi heavy duty makeup remover for my eyes that facial wipes and soap can't take off. Click CONTINUE READING to read more.

Product Review: Skin Beautanicals Organic Arbutin Soap with Argan Oil

Monday, January 19, 2015

I've been suffering from dry and flaky skin for months now. It started last December because of the cold weather. I'm used to this condition and I'm sure that I'm not alone. The colder the weather, the drier the skin because the humidity level (moisture in the air) tends to be lower than the usual during cold months. So it's not an excuse to ditch the moisturizers even if you have normal skin/oily skin types during cold months cause your skin will be needing it too.

Aside from creams and lotions that contain moisturizers, we also need to look for a soap or body wash that will help lock in moisture in our skin after taking a bath. Beauty oils are in the limelight of skin care nowadays. From rosehips-tea tree-grapeseed-olive-jojoba-sunflower-camellia-marula to argan oil, name it and I'm sure beauty gurus around the globe have tried a couple of them. Morrocan Argain Oil is the "liquid gold" for dry hair and dry skin. Skin Beautanicals by Jianne Skin Essentials sent me their Organic Arbutin Soap with Argan Oil to try and after using the soap for more than a month, I'm ready to share my thoughts about it. Product Review: Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip Scrub

Sunday, January 18, 2015

Read my lips... dry, chapped and flaky! Blame it to the cold weather baby. Raise your hands if you also feel the same :( But don't worry, a heavy duty lip balm will help lessen dryness  your lips and a moisturizing lipstick will give a lovely color to your lips sans fine lines and flakes. Aside from what I mentioned above, a gentle yet effective way to wash off dead skin around your lips is by using a lip scrub.

I've been suffering from dry and chapped lips since last month. I barely wear matte lipsticks these past few weeks. Good thing I have a lip scrub from Tony Moly that I got last October. How pretty the packaging right? To know more about Tony Moly Kiss Kiss Lip Scrub and my thoughts after using it for more than a month now, click CONTINUE READING dearies!

How Effective is IVF?

Saturday, January 17, 2015

For many people, IVF is a last resort after years of trying other ways to conceive a baby. For others, where one or both partners have a known condition that doesn't make natural reproduction viable, it can be one of the only ways to have a baby at all. If you are desperate to get pregnant and have had no joy trying the natural way, or have had no success with other treatments like artificial insemination, IVF can often help you achieve the pregnancy you long for. But what are the success rates of IVF and fertility or assisted reproductive treatments in general?
