Hello dearies! How's your weekend? I received an email from J Model Management and they're inviting me to watch the fashion show in New York City! Yesssss! Sounds good to be true but unfortunately I'm not going. But for now, I'm happy that through this blog I am able to share with you the stories of the past and recent fashion shows organized by J Model management that Jessica Minh Anh founded. Here she is again, making another milestone by showcasing another catwalk at America's tallest building. I'm sure this fashion show will be make another history in the world of fashion. So without further ado, here's the story of J Summer Fashion Show on June 25, 2014 at the One World Trade Center, New York City. Click CONTINUE READING and see more of the upcoming show's highlights!

Product Review: Natura Organics Cellular Energizing Body Wash

Wednesday, April 23, 2014

Hello dearies! Hope you're having a productive day even if it's scorching hot outside. I was out the whole day last Monday and I really felt the heat. The sun, the wind and the pollution combined made my skin dry and burned! Literally, I got a sunburn even without swimming. Before I went outside last Monday, I make sure that I applied an ample amount of my trusted sunblock. I was armed with an umbrella and wore a not so thick long-sleeves shirt to protect my skin. But boy oh boy, the heat coming from the sun is sweltering that I can't even stay in one place with minimal ventilation. But I have no choice because I was organizing my father's papers so I have to go back and forth to that office. When I got home yesterday, all I to do want is immersed myself inside the pail. So when I'm about to lather my skin with my favorite soap, I felt the sunburned area stinging and the soap's lather was making it itchy and painful. Good thing that Natura Organics sent me their Cellullar Energizing Body Wash because it saved my skin from the irritation and itchy feel that I have right now. I'm really planning to use this body wash next week but the stinging sensation that I have right now because of the wind/sunburn made me use this product.

I guess it's too early to give this product a review but because I've used it four times already for two days and saw the effects immediately, then ow is the right time to say my thoughts about the product. It's the perfect buddy for my tired and irritated skin. If you want to know more about the product and my full review click CONTINUE READING and find out!

NOTD: Neutrals

Yay! As promised, here's another NOTD post. I'm so excited to share the colors that I picked during my visit to Nailaholics Nail Salon and Spa last February with my sister. I think the shade that I chose is very timely for summer. Since it's scorching hot and seeing bold nail colors tend to hurt my eyes, I decided to paint my nails with neutrals. I know most of you choose neutral shades too and the more common shades are touch of tan and beige. Well, for you next neutrals may I suggest you add a touch of sophistication to your neutral shade nail polish. Why don't you try a neutral shade with purple or gray undertone? Oh before I forgot I also had my pedicure that day and chose another neutral shade that's very pretty. So without further ado here's my take on neutrals courtesy of O.P.I and Nail-a-holics Fisher Mall branch. Click CONTINUE READING to see what shades used :)

Product Review: CalChews Calcium Soft Chews + Vitamin D and K

Monday, April 21, 2014

Finally, got another time to make a review. I miss doing product reviews specially if they're really effective! I'm always excited to share the good news as well as not so good news. If you'll ask me why not so good news is included here, well if I have a review of a product that failed my expectations, I want it to serve as a guide to consumers. I'm not saying that it doesn't patronize the product because it gave me negative reactions. Remember that we are all different and there are certain products that will work for me and not for you or vice versa.

Let's go back to the review. I've been seeing CalChews even before Sample Room announced that they'll be having samples of this calcium food supplement. For those who have no idea about the product, CalChews is first calcium supplement in the market in soft chew form that offers an easy and delicious way of getting one's recommended daily dose of calcium. It's the only calcium brand that is enriched not only with Vitamin D3 but also with Vitamin K – vitamins essential for optimum bone health. When I was pregnant with my son, I'm required to take Calcium for my baby's bone health. Almost all calcium brands in the market today look the same in terms of size and shape. I can still remember that during the time I'm taking calcium, I had a hard time swallowing the caplet. Now, I want to thank CalChews because it's now easier to take Calcium and in a delicious way too! To read my full review about CalChews, click CONTINUE READING and smile!

Sunday, April 20, 2014

Happy Easter to all! Let the egg hunt begin :) So before you go out today and celebrate this special day let me share with you my first NOTD for 2014. I know it's super later post since I had this nail color last January. It's my second time using a gel polish to date and I think I already found the right kind of nail polish for my nails. My finger nails are soaked to laundry detergents and dish washing soap most of the time that's why regular and premium nail polishes easily crack and get chipped right after my manicure. I have mommy duties and I can't prevent my hands from getting wet all day long. Anyhoo, aside from my manicure I would also like to show you my pedicure because I'm really diggin' the color that I got for my toe nails. It's not gel polish though but it lasts more than 2 weeks or 1 month the most. The brand of gel nail polish that was used here is Jennifer Lynn. I'm not familiar with the brand but it's made in the US. There were so many colors to choose from and I totally had a hard time choosing because all of them looked gorgeous! Excited to see the gel polish that I chose? Click CONTINUE READING and find out more!
