     Laser procedures are no longer new to me. I've tried several procedures for the face, legs, and underarms in the past months and I'm satisfied with the results.      How many times do you shave your underarm hair? My apologies for asking this question but I'm sure that shaving is one of the rituals that women do once or more than twice a week.      For this feature, I visited their Gateway Mall branch. The staffs are very accommodating and friendly. I find Lay Bare's theme nature friendly. They have green and brown color combination that is soothing to the eyes. I also like their simple yet clean surroundings.

     Their treatment areas are clean even though it's a not that spacious. I feel comfortable inside their treatment area. The pre and post care treatment products are properly labeled and properly arranged in the designated area.

     During my visit, I availed their eyebrow threading and Brazilian waxing service. I go to Lay Bare once or every two months for my eyebrow threading sesh. To tell you the truth, there's still a pain every threading session even though I do it on a regular basis but to a minimal level. I can say that Lay Bare's technique in threading is good because it doesn't hurt that much and I don't get a teary eye unlike with other hair waxing salon that I've tried before. It only took less than ten minutes for the threading session since I only have a few stray eyebrow hairs during my visit.

     Before we proceed to the next service I availed I have a question to ask. Do you still use razor and shave to remove unwanted hair? Why is shaving not enough? Because being hair-free is just the "bare minimum". That is why Lay Bare's Thorough Care treatment doesn't just remove unwanted hair -- it helps you have light, softer, and smoother skin as well.

     Next service was Brazilian Wax. I presume that you already know what Brazilian waxing service is all about. Basically, all the hairs in the genital area will be stripped off.      Here are the things that I experienced after availing one of their Thorough Care treatment and will highly recommend to you especially if you still shave unwanted hair:

• The first step in Lay Bare's Thorough care treatment is getting and showing their special cold wax that is made of natural ingredients. I've tried smelling the cold jelly wax and it smells natural- honey and calamansi to be exact.
• The cold jelly wax is individually packaged so that it is for single use only.

• My attendant was very informative and she asks me f I'm okay every time she pulls out the unwanted hair.

• After a week, hair growth is slower than the usual.

Sample Room Experience + First Haul for 2013

     Happy weekend guys! We're fortunate that beauty comes in boxes now. I mean we can try beauty, skin care, wellness products and everything in between with these beauty subscription boxes. I presume that you all know these beauty boxes and had subscribe from them depending on your preferences. It boom last year around August if I'm not mistaken but I'm contemplating which box to get.      This is what I ordered from the remaining points that I have. I have read all the reviews from SR that's why I'm convinced that Gluta-C is effective in terms of lighten dark marks and spots. I'm not sure if I'll use this on my underarm, I'm planning to use a little of this on my freckles and I hope this will work there too.

     So now to my haul, basically these are products that I already use everyday. Nothing new except the Nichido Mineral Concealer that I will use as an eyeliner for my waterlines and the HBC Keratin Hot Oil Treatment that was always OOS. I was intrigued months ago why among the DIY hair care treatments from HBC this is always OOS. Now I can try this and see what's the rave about :) I also bought this top from a shop near our subdivision selling factory priced clothing from Lee and Jag. Got this for 50& off the tag! But it's to tight for me, I need to lose weight before I can wear this confidently.  The Tony Moly 7 Day Eyebrow Tattoo is the bomb!!! I will muse everything about it on my next post. I really LOVE LOVE it!!! It's the cheaper version of K-Palette (I guess) :D

     And by the way, the cutie bottle cap earrings was a gift from le sister on my birthday. She said she won in a giveaway and this was her prize from Hodge Podge. She's very shy to use this because of the word blogger written on it. Thank you so much Krystal! I'm also shy to wear this even if this is the craft that I love doing. I don't want others to misinterpret me wearing those earrings. But if I'm with blogger friends, I'll wear it because I'm sure they'll understand me 100%

     Last August 28 Ms. Lhen Hasal of Ogilvy Public Relations Manila invited me to experience a night that will showcase the launch of Dove's new line of underarm product. Filled with fun and laughter, Dove introduced this promising deodorant together with Upstart Productions through Unspeakably Yours: The Underarm Monologues. 

     I arrived just in time and was amazed by the set-up of the place. Free flowing champagne and a sumptuous dinner was served before the play started. I don't have any idea what this monologue's all about. I must admit that I'm not the type who will reserve a seat just to watch theatrical shows. I'd rather go clubbin' or spend the night chillin' with my friends and siblings but after seeing the energetic, talented and gorgeous ladies I said to myself that I need to make this a new hobby! I'm so impressed with their performance and felt goosebumps while they deliver their lines. I really enjoyed the night and amazed with the performance. I went home empowered saying A-WOmen!      Dove Deodorant recently collaborated with Upstart Productions to present Unspeakably Yours: The Underarm Monologues. Inspired by stories from real women, this original outspoken comedy explores views on an intimate part of the body that females love to hate and hate to love: their underarms.

     Beauty and Underarms rarely go together. In fact, women rarely talk about underarms, and women talk about everything. This is because many Filipinas are unhappy with their underarms: dark spots, chicken skin, odor and rough patches – real issues, but hardly the things you’d want to talk about over coffee. Still, real women, their issues, frustrations & joys, have always been Dove’s advocacy, so the idea of starting a conversation about one of the least talked about body parts stemmed out – what if your underarms could talk? What would it say to YOU, and what would YOU say back? Will it say something like Planet of the Apes or The Dark Knight Rises? I'm sure you're thinking of something right now and you can relate to what I'm saying, right?

     The underarms, perhaps the last thing a woman would think of when asked about her best beauty asset. Unspeakably Yours: The Underarm Monologues is written by theater veterans Joel Trinidad (“Kaos”; “Breakups and Breakdowns”) and Cathy Azanza-Dy (“Love, Loss, and What I Wore”; “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”), and directed by Cathy Azanza-Dy and Jenny Jamora.
