When and Why did you start blogging?

     I started blogging a year ago but I'm already a lurker in this blogosphere from way way back. I love reading product reviews and random posts at that time and I don't have any plans to write my own blog. When I've tried and tested some organic products especially soaps and skincare stuff, I decided to share my experience. I'm a believer in honest reviews that's why when I publish a review, I make sure that I've tried it for a week or a month. I was also persuaded by my hubby to make blogging a hobby so that I can relax and channel out a lighter side of being a stay-at-home mom that sometimes can be very stressful. I was hesitant that time thus my first blog post is titled To blog or not to blog :D

What do you love to blog about and why do you like it?

      I love to blog about skincare especially organic ones, budget-friendly makeup, hair care, random thoughts on food, fashion, and lifestyle. I like sharing my thoughts on products that I've tried and tested through product reviews.

How did you get your blog name?

     Nice question! I know a lot of my readers are very curious about my blog name. Dear Kitty Kittie Kath's name came from three things: Dear- since my blog is like the diary of my personal stuff it's like writing a letter or writing my own diary-like "dear...", Kitty Kittie- came from Barney's song. During the time that I'm ready to make my own blog post, my son was fond of Barney and Friends series. He's always singing "dear kitty kitty cat, dear kitty kitty". I had a hard time thinking of a blog name that night so I decided to just adapt the lyrics of the song and made some changes to the spelling. Kath- this should be the "cat" on the song and I just changed it to "Kath" my nickname.

What do you think is your best post yet?

     I think all my reviews and hauls on Organic Skin Care ^_^

What is your inspiration for blogging at present?

     

     The bloggers that I follow, my hubby and my son. I'm a soft-spoken and shy type girl with low self-esteem before I started blogging but now I'm turning into someone who can speak out and share her thoughts through blogosphere and in public.

Please Say A Little Prayer For Me

     Hi guys! I'm sorry for being MIA again. I know that I promised to update this blog everyday and make two or three posts but again something unexpected happened to my family. I hope you can understand because a lot of things came to us. My father was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease so he's undergoing dialysis now. It's really depressing and stressful for my family but we need to accept it. Since I'm the eldest, I almost do everything from his check-ups, dialysis sessions and other important things needed for his medication. It's lifetime- 

     I hope you can include my father's health in your prayers. It's not easy for all of us. We're still emotional about this stage but I know we'll be able to handle it. I guess we just need to keep our faith and everything will be alright.

     So I'll just leave you here, I will still update this blog soon. My giveaways will be up next week so I hope you can join. Ask your friends to join too :D

Sugar-Overload

     I hope you don't get tired of reading my winning stories. I'm really thankful that most of the giveaways that I joined gave me a chance to express myself by answering the questions required. Through this, I was able to share my opinion about a certain product whether it's beauty related, fashion inspired or simple joys from food. So yes, this post is about the prizes that I claimed this week. 

     This is the reason why we headed to Trinoma not only for our grocery shopping but to claim the Shiseido Sun Care Set that I won from answering a survey last April. I don't have any idea about this gift set that I won from Shiseido. When the SA handed me the gift set I was surprised to see that it's something from the White Lucent line. I've heard that this line is specially formulated to lighten and brighten skin complexion and dark spots. Wow! something that I really need for my pimple marks and freckles. The set includes a 75ml of WHITE LUCENT Brightening Balancing Softener Enriched W and 40 pcs. special Shiseido Cotton Pads.

     I also won a box of 9 pcs. Kashi Maki from Food Reviews Manila and Pink Wasabi :D This has been the talk of the town and finally I've got to taste this Japanese inspired pastries. This mouth-watering dessert is consist of 8 delectable flavors that will surely make you crave for more.

     I enjoyed eating this heavenly pastries and Oolong Berry is my favorite. To complete my dessert fix for the day, I paired it with Oolong Milk Tea from Teaberi. Sugar-overload indeed!

Random

     Can't think of any title for this post. Bummer! Hahaha XD I'm lazy to do a review. I guess it's because of the rain and cold weather. I want to sleep! If I can sleep all day without thinking of anything I'll do it. But I have to do my mommy duties first and just wait for Kenzo's nap time so I  can sleep too. I'll just share random things with you. Hope it's okay and don't worry, I'll be back with a review on Camaru Naturals' promising skin care products.

     During my college years, I'm fond of collecting body mists and perfumes. I'm obsessed with Victoria's Secrets Body Mist back then that I accumulated 10 bottles of that. My fave scents are Sweet Temptation, Passionate Kisses and Love Spell. I displayed all the empty bottles in my room but when I got married, I left them there and my sisters who occupied my room threw all bottles away. Boo! I never had a chance to take a picture of my collection before. So now even if it's only two bottles, I took a picture of them. It's not the VS cologne but two of my recent perfumes.

This is my 2nd bottle of Ralph EDT and the Acqua Di Gio is my first. I got addicted with this scent. I know this is for MEN. Hehehe!

     As for the scent, I will try to describe this with the help of the hubby. I'm not good at describing scents. Poor me! I'm not good at description and directions, Ugh :( Hehehe!

Another thing that I wanted to show you is my new nail polish set. This came from the Everyday Essentials Loot that I won from TBJ 3rd Grand Anniversary Giveaway! My sister who is addicted to nail polishes got excited when she heard that I won. I'm thinking if I'll make her as my guest blogger to do some NOTD and other random nail stuffs. I envy her because she can do her nails at home. I usually go to nail salon and spa to get my nails done. And take note, I just  ask the attendant to buff my toe nails and put some sheer color. I always fret to polish my finger nails because I'm not used to it. It's also a waste for me since I'm a hands-on mommy, nail polish will only chip after washing the feeding bottles and doing some laundry. So better stay this way, colorless finger nails ^_^

     Being Great for me doesn't mean you need be powerful, rich and strong. You're Great because you can do simple things that makes our life worth living for. Thank you for being there through thick and thin. I know there were times you feel like giving up but you won't. I may not be able to show you how much I appreciate everything you do, deep inside my heart I'm always thankful to have someone like you!

    To all the Greatest Fathers out there, this day is meant for you. So sit back, relax and enjoy. Let's celebrate this day full of fun and laughter... Cheers to the man of our home :D
