Product Review: Be Organic Argan Oil Foaming Face Wash

Friday, January 17, 2014

Hello dearies! Loving and hating this crazy cold weather lately. I like it because it made my skin less oily and this means less acne and pimples but I hate it because it makes my skin extra dry and flaky. But what can I do? I don't have the powers to control it or make it balance. Anyhoo, I'll be sharing another great skin car product that was sent to me by Ms. Cheryl of Be Organic Bath and Body. They're so generous for sending me almost all of their skin care products to try. I'm very happy that most of the full-sized samples they sent really did a great job in taking good care of my hair, skin and face. I also like that their products are competitive in price and one of the best organic brand that I've tried in the market today. To be fair, most of the organic skin care brands that I've tried loves my skin. Only one or two brands of organic skin care in the market today that gave me negative effects. All I can say that even though the product is dubbed as organic or natural, not all will benefit from using it. There are people who are allergic to certain organic/natural ingredients so always do a patch test before using a product.

Going back to the topic, this is my first time to use an organic foaming facial wash. If my memory serves me right, the last time I've used a facial wash was during college years. I'm sure you can guess the brand of the facial wash that gave me zits because it's very popular until now. I will not mention the brand's name just leave a comment if you think we had the same experience. I fell in love with this product the moment I used it. I'm skeptical at first because I don't want to put another layer of oil to my combination skin but this is not the oil that we think. Excited to hear my thoughts about Be Organic Argan Oil Foaming Facial Wash? Click CONTINUE READING to see it it's a Yay or a Nay :)

If you think shampooing your hair everyday is the solution to fight frizz and dryness, then think again! Conditioners are life savers, for me and for my hair. I honestly can't live without conditioner. If I can count the days that I've washed my hair with my favorite shampoos, methinks applying conditioner everyday not only once but sometimes twice will be very hard to track using numbers. Yes, I can say I'm a conditioner addict :) If you have damaged, dry and frizzy hair and you skip conditioner everyday, chances are you're missing a very important step in treating your hair troubles.

Have you read my review on Be Organic Argan Oil Shampoo? I mused there that I've used the shampoo everyday because it didn't gave me negative reactions and whatsoever. I broke my hair mantra to shampoo my hair twice or thrice a week. Since my hair didn't experience problems with the shampoo, here comes the conditioner. The one that I can't skip during bath time. As I've mentioned before, Ms. Cheryl of Be Organic Bath and Body make sure that my hair will have the utmost care by sending me products from their luxurious hair care line. Again, Argan oil is one of the most expensive beauty oil in the market today. Can you guess how this conditioner have fare with my semi- damaged, frizzy and dry hair? Product Review: Be Organic Argan Oil Shampoo

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

Hellos! Today let me share with you another long overdue post. If you can still remember my IG posts, Ms. Cheryl of Be Organic Bath and Body sent me full-sized bottles of their Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. The moment I received these products, I was very giddy and excited to try them both because I've already tried argan oil shampoo in the past and my hair absolutely love it. The brand that I've tried before has different formulation and texture but I think both are very effective in making damaged hair healthier and livelier.

I presume that you've already heard the thoughts of international beauty bloggers about argan oil and it's effectiveness not only in skin but also in their tresses. As I've mentioned above, argan oil is very effective in making my hair less dry and frizzy. I can say that my hair is the most abused part of my body because I always change its color every two or three months. With the use of Be Organic Argan Oil shampoo everyday (I don't shampoo my hair everyday before), there's a big difference in the texture and the appearance of my color-treated hair. I absolutely like the effect of this shampoo on my scalp because it somehow relieved the itchiness that I have experienced not from dandruff but from taking grape seed extract which is a known side effect of that supplement. So here's my review of Be Organic Argan Oil Shampoo, click CONTINUE READING for more details.

Product Review: Be Organic Argan Oil Intensive Treatment Hair Mask

For some women, hair is one of the most high maintenance part of the body. I'm sure you'll agree with me especially if you have long black or color treated hair. How many shampoos and conditioner do you use everyday and how many times a month do you treat your hair for a luxurious hair treatment at home or at your favorite salon? If you're a hair conscious babe, I'm sure you visit the salon regularly for different kinds of hair treatment suited to your hair needs.

Do you sometimes wish that even if you have chemically processed/treated hair, your tresses will be low maintenance? How we wish right?! I have a long chemically treated hair. My hair had gone through a lot of coloring and other hair treatment procedures that includes mechanical and chemical processes. I can say that my hair is in the state I know my hair is dry and damaged because every time I look in the mirror or every time I touch my hair, I can see and feel the effects of those nasty chemicals. I already tried hair treatment products from high end, cost-effective and budget friendly ones. Some of them made my hair more damaged while others have temporary effect but these kind of treatments should be done regularly. Aside from the budget, you also have to consider time and effort if you really want to maintain beautiful tresses like those that you see from hair product commercials. Do you feel like you've invested everything but none of them works? Why don't you try something natural and organic? Here's my honest to goodness review of Be Organic Argan Oil Intensive Treatment Hair Mask that was sent to me Be Organics Bath and Body, a DIY hair treatment that really works! Product Review: Be Organic Aloe Jojoba Soap

Thursday, November 21, 2013

Hello dearies! I'm back with another review. But this time I let my hubby use this soap for thirty days. If you're wondering why I made him as my guinea pig, well it's because the soap is suited for his skin type. The soap that I'm going to introduce today is suited for oily and irritated skin. I presume everyone knows that Aloe Vera is one of the most widely used skin care product that comes from nature even during the old times. I can still remember our Aloe Vera plant that my grandmother planted in her backyard. Whenever we go to her house for a vacation and my cousin's skin got irritated, she will pick a leaf of Aloe Vera, wash it and get the gel coming out of the leaf. It's amazing that the itchy irritated and red like skin patches become tamed after the application of the gel.

Going back to my review, this soap is really suited to individuals with oily and irritated skin. Combined with jojoba oil that also makes the skin nourished and moisturized, the soap is another moisturizer in a bar. Don't get me wrong if I tell you that oily skin needs to be moisturized too. If you'll do your research, most oily skin individuals need to use moisturizer to protect the layer of the skin thus minimizing the irritation and less production of sebum. Well according to the hubby, after using the soap on his oily face he noticed that his skin feels smooth to touch. When he uses the soap on his body that has dry patches, he said that the itchiness lessened after taking a bath. I do believe the things that he observed because I can see the improvement on his face and body. If you want to know more about our observation, click CONTINUE READING to find out.
Be Organic Aloe Jojoba Soap

Product Review: Be Organic Emu Skin Perfecting Cream

Thursday, October 17, 2013

Hello dearies! I'm very excited to share my review today because it's another first :) It's my first organic/natural face cream to date :) I'm a long time user of GNC Vitamin C Moisturizing cream and consumed more than five tubs already. And because I'm slowly incorporating organic products to my body and hair care essentials, I think now is the right time to have one for the face.

Remember my post about my discover of a new brand of organic soap that I've posted months ago? I mused my story there when I first saw the brand Be Organic. Aside from the soaps, this EMU Skin Perfecting cream caught my attention. I asked the SA about this cream and she said that it's a new product from Be Organic and explained to me that it's packed with vitamins and natural skin perfecting ingredients. Sounds very pleasing to the ears and kudos to the SA who knew what she really sells. Back to my story, I was tempted to buy a tub that time but I just brought an exact amount of money that day. So I said to myself that I'll come back for this cream on my next visit to SESOU store whether it's at Trinoma or Robinson's Galleria branch. But this lemming or wish came true when Ms. Cheryl of Be Organic Bath and Body sent me samples of their products. I'm really not expecting that she included a full-sized EMU Skin Perfecting Cream when I received my package. All I know is that she will just send me soaps because it was the only thing that I've mentioned on my previous post about my review on the Papaya Kojic soap. It's very heart warming when you're not expecting to receive products beyond your expectations. Don't get me wrong but I'm really overwhelmed with the products she sent me.

Are you familiar with Emu oil? Have you heard this miraculous product that came from the Emu bird? Click CONTINUE READING to know more information about the benefits and of course about this cream.

Product Review: Be Organic Papaya Bearberry Soap

Friday, October 11, 2013

Hello dearies! Have you joined my 2nd Year Anniversary Giveaway yet? If not join HERE! I’m very excited to share this review because it’s one of the organic brands in the market today that offers promising natural products for the hair, skin, face and body. I already reviewed one of their soap- The Papaya Kojic and I highly recommend this organic whitening soap for individuals with sensitive skin. If you missed the review just click HERE. Now I’m going to share my thoughts on another variant of soap from Be Organic Bath and Body, this time it’s their whitening and anti-aging soap- The Papaya Bearberry. Does one of the ingredients sound new to you? I guess you’ll answer yes. Actually the bearberry is not that new to me, I already tried another brand of soap with bearberry extract but it is combined with other fruit extracts too. This time it’s combined only with Papaya so the combination is new to me. What exactly is Bearberry extract?
Bearberry extract is made from the leaves of the bearberry plant. It is commonly used as an astringent in cosmetic preparations and skin care products. Astringents are cleansers that remove dirt and oil from the skin's pores. It is also used as a lightening agent to fade freckles or skin discoloration which may be caused by sun damage or hormonal conditions.
And because I’m already 30 years old, I give more importance to anti-aging. I’m already fair to begin with so it’s less of importance for me to get fairer, just even skin tone will do. This variant of soap is another lemming from the brand because when I saw it at Sesou I told myself to buy it next time I'll visit the store. But to my surprise Ms. Cheryl of Be Organic Bath and Body send samples of their products. I'm one happy kid! The moment I received the package, I opened the soap and used it right away. Excited to know my experience about the soap? Here it is, my honest to goodness review of Be Organic Papaya Bearberry Soap
Be Organic Papaya Bearberry Soap
This handmade soap has the highest and purest ingredients that whiten and nourish skin. Contains papaya enzyme which reduces dark spots from acne, blackheads and pimples. Combined with Bearberry extract, one of the most powerful skin lighteners.

Product Review: Be Organic Papaya Kojic Soap

Friday, September 06, 2013

On my trip to Robinson's Galleria a month ago, I saw a big kiosk of SESOU store. It's a store where you can buy everything organic, from head to toe! They also sell general cleaning items and other stuff that's environment friendly. This is the store where I first met my favorite All Organics Soaps that I still purchase from time to time. I was looking for my favorite All Organics Calamansi variant that time but it's OOS. I was contemplating if I'll get another fave, the Singkamas variant or try another organic brand. Well, trying another brand can be risky for me now since my skin's condition these past few days was very sensitive. Breakouts here and there and my old skin care regimen seems not working anymore. So even though I was skeptical on trying an new organic brand, I still pursued buying one from Be Organic.

My skin concerns as of the moment are tiny bumps like whiteheads that will turn into zits after a few days, rough and dry cheeks and some oiliness on my chin and nose. I know that the cause of this is hormonal. I already went to my OB-Gynecologist to have a general check up. Anyhoo, there are four variants of Be Organic soap that time and I have my eyes glued on the Papaya Kojic soap. I was brave enough to try kojic soap because I already tried this variant of soap from different brands before. What's new to me is the combination of Papaya and Kojic.  I've been using the soap for more than three weeks now and the results are erratic. I guess the effects on my skin is not because of the soap but mainly the hormonal changes that I've been going through.
Be Organic Papaya Kojic Soap
Achieve that flawless, blemish free, and younger looking skin in no time, Kojic Acid is a mushroom extract, and used to lighten discoloration such as freckles and age spots. It penetrates the skin and goes into deep cellular layers to inhibit dark pigmentation from forming. Azelaic and Glycolic acids effectively kill acne causing bacteria, control excess oil production and speed up skin cells turn over to reveal glowing new skin.
