Product Review: Safeguard DERMA SENSE Facial Cleanser

     Hello dearies! Still enjoying summer? I know you are! There are different activities that makes summer a well-loved season here in our country. A family vacation to one of the pristine beaches and resorts, a barkada outing and road trip to amusement parks, and joining summer activities like outdoor leagues and sports. 

     This season is the season where we enjoy Mr. Sun the most, we don't care if we get a beautiful tan right? But with the activities I listed above, the more active we are, the more sweat we get especially that this insane heat makes us sweat more than the usual. Even though we enjoy the weather, our skin is compromised and there are skin problems that we need to address. I sweat a lot during summer and excessive sweating makes my skin sensitive to bacteria build up. I get acne on my forehead that becomes reddish and painful if I don't address it immediately.      If you're a body wash fanatic, they also have body washes for you! The sensitive and acne-prone body wash. The latter is great for those suffering from bacne. Remember that excessive sweating can attract bacteria so skin care product that protects you from germs is what you need.

     Finally for the face, the facial cleansers! These cleansers are the big hero this summer! As I've told you above, summer heat can cause excessive sweating and I'm in the group who sweat a lot even if I'm not that active at home. • Using this product is a breeze, only mild circular strokes and you're done.
• My skin felt squeaky clean after using the product.
• I also felt my skin is soft and smooth to touch after use.
• The product is easily available.
• There's batch, manufacturing, and expiry date printed on the tube.

What I don't like:

• Doesn't produce a good lather.

     It's been ages since the last time I shared my thoughts about contact lenses plus the pros and cons of wearing them. I'm still wearing contact lenses almost every other day and I presume some of you have noticed while some have not. I've been using contact lenses for decades now. My main reason why I use contact lenses is for aesthetics only. But behind those beautiful and enlarged irises, are eyes suffering from discomforts and irritation. What I like:

• The size is okay. Yay to natural iris size. Will say goodbye to big doll eyes for now. Honestly speaking there are times I think I look like a freak wearing big doll-like contact lenses. No offense to doll lenses fans. I've seen lots of pretty ladies who look good with big doll-like contact lens.
• I have clear vision from day to night.
• The contact lens are comfortable to wear as it lasted on my eyes for more than 8 hours.
• No irritation or redness seen while I have them on my eyes.
• It's easy to remove too.
• There are 9 colors to choose from.
• There are subtle and vibrant colors that compliments different skin tone and hair colors.
• Yay to a virtual try on studio. There are 9 different color contact lenses available to try on, making it an easy way to find the color that best fits me and you!
• The effects of the colors are more natural and doesn't look "pilit" (trying hard to pull off).
• I feel that I have healthy-looking eyes with Air Oprtix Colors.

What I don't like:

• I guess for a monthly disposable contact lens, the price can be a little high if you're a budget conscious individual. 

Will I repurchase? Yes! I want to try Sterling Gray and Brilliant Blue :)

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.5/5 rating. Here are the basic tips that I want to share for newbie contact lens users:

• Always wash your hands before touching your contact lenses. 
• Before opening your new contact lens, make sure that it is properly sealed. 
• Sanitize your contact lens case/s first. What I do is soak the lens case in warm water for 5 minutes.
• Let your eye doctor teach you how to properly wear and remove them. Remember that even though you use your contact lens for aesthetic purposes only, it is still a medical device.
• You can also watch video tutorials on how to wear and remove them.
• REMEMBER: If you are using a monthly disposable lens, make sure you mark the exact date you first opened the contact lens in their packaging. That marks day 1. Even if you're not using them everyday, it still counts. So you will not count how many times you've worn them BUT how many days left from the day you opened them. 
• I usually mark my contact lenses case the day I opened the packaging. 
• DO NOT SLEEP with CONTACT LENSES on your eyes. I will not advise you to do that even if the product or brand says so. 
• Make sure that you follow also how to use the contact lens solution. 

     I think I'm in love with both colors. Gemstone Green is what I need if I want to give my eyes the glam or extra oomph of color that's perfect for parties and events.      I will never get tired of trying a new lip product as long as the pigmentation is good and there's a lot of colors to choose from the brand! I'm happy to share with you my thoughts on Etude House Sugar Tint Lip Balm. I'm sure you've seen great reviews from beauty bloggers here and abroad and what they have to say about this product. I have a love-hate relationship with these lip balms but I think that it's only me who experienced it. By the way, thank you Etude House for sending these balms.

What I like:

• The packaging is cute. It comes with a screw off lid/cap that can prevent the lid/cap from unscrewing off accidentally while these lip balms are inside your makeup kit or bag.
• There are 8 pretty shades to choose from.
• The color comes off true. What you see if what you get.
• It is very pigmented. Looks like I'm wearing lipstick whenever I apply cranberry pie on my lips.
• It glides smoothly on my lips without tugging and pulling therefore it's easy peasy to apply.
• It has the right amount of gloss/shine on my lips. 
• Etude House Sugar Tint Balm lasted 5 hours on my lips.
• Does not fade after eating or sipping my drink.
• Contains beauty oils like Jojoba Oil, Organic Argan Oil, and Vitamin E.
• Easily accessible.

What I don't like: 

• The price can be a bit steep for budget conscious individuals.
• The scent- I find the fruity scent a bit off for my sensitive nose. I think it's just me because my sister likes the scent of these lip balms.
• Can emphasize flaky and chapped lips because the texture is creamy. 

Will I repurchase? Maybe yes and no. Yes because I want to try the remaining six shades. No because I think a bullet will last long. I'm the type who will empty the contents of a product first before trying or buying a new one if it becomes a fave or HG (holy grail). 

Recommendation:

     I give this product a 4/5 rating. I like that the packaging is cute and unique. It's very pigmented but buildable so it's like I'm already wearing a lipstick. If you have dry, flaky, and chapped lips, I advise you to exfoliate first as these lip balms may emphasize them. Other than that, you'll be surprised that you'll get the true color of these lip balms once applied. Some lipstick may look different on the tube and once applied. I have pigmented lips and I don't have a hard time making Grapefruit Tea show off it's true color in just two swipes.

     I live a stone's throw away from SM Fairview that's why when I was invited to the relaunch of SM Foodcourt, my grumbling tummy told me to go.
