Product Review: Glupa Glutathione+Papaya Soap

Thursday, December 04, 2014

I've tried a lot of whitening soaps sold in the market today. If you're a lurker in this blog, prolly you know that I've switched to organic soaps for the sake of my sensitive skin. I'm fair already, to begin with, whitening soaps either lighten skin blemishes that I get from pimple marks, insect bites or minor wounds like paper cut or from unconsciously scratching my skin while sleeping. I use whitening soap to maintain or even out my skin tone because there are times that I'm always out running errands in the afternoon. A change in a tone like one shade lighter is a bonus for me and it only means that the soap is very effective. For reference, I'm NC 15-20 in MAC.

Anyhoo, I was invited by Age Defy Solutions the makers of Glupa products to an intimate gathering of beauty bloggers months ago. They gave us full-sized samples of their skin care products to try. The first product that I'm giddy to road test was the Glupa soap. I got intrigued with this whitening soap because the endorser is Boy Abunda. It is also a whitening soap that contains a powerful combination of glutathione and papaya. After a month of using the soap, here's my honest to goodness review of Glupa (Glutathione + Papaya) soap. Click CONTINUE READING and find out my experience.

Daiso Japan Philippines Kris Kringle Corner Bloggers' Event

Wednesday, December 03, 2014

Hello dearies! How are you? First week of December reminds me of a very special event where a mini exchange gift happens at work and at school. Since I'm a stay-at-home-mom, I miss joining this so-called "monito-monita". I presume all of you have heard this, "I love my monito/monita yes I do (3x), I love my monito/monita but I won't tell you" Familiar with the song? The monito-monita exchange gift usually starts from a Kris Kringle. This kind of exchange gift is so exciting and intriguing, right? Raise your hands if you agree :) It's exciting because the gifts you will give and receive is according to the "something" insert noun/adjective/adverb here thing. It's intriguing because you have no idea what to receive since there are so many things that correspond to something (noun/adjective/adverb/) thing.

I was invited by Daiso Japan Philipines, the authentic Japanese goods store here in our country to join other bloggers as we shop for amazing products that we will use in our exchange gifts. Daiso Japan Philippines have a Kris Kringle Corner where cute, functional, and unique items are priced for as low as Php88. I love Japanese products! I'm happy that Daiso Japan Philippines brought them here and made the price almost the same as the Daiso goods sold in Japan. Anyhoo, I've been talking to much here because of my excitement. What happened during the blogger's event was perfect in time for exchange gifts and Kris Kringle. If you have a doubt and having a hard time finding that "something sweet, cute, long, short, sticky, etc, etc," thing for your Kris Kringle, head on to the nearest Daiso Japan PH branch and I'm sure your monito/monita will be surprised and happy to see the gift you got because it's from Daiso Japan PH:) More stories about the event and see what items that I gave and received during our Kris Kringle.      Filipinos love to eat. In our family, eating is not just the normal "eat to satisfy your hunger" need. We eat because it is also our way of bonding. Aside from eating at home, we love eating or dinning out. Since there are lots of restaurants nowadays, choosing the right place to dine is easy but sometimes there are hassles that come with it. Dining out can be a pain when there is a long queue at the restaurant or when the restaurant is not accessible and needs a one to two hour ride from your home.

Good thing there's food delivery. I'm happy that 212-1212 or twoanyone.com tied up with bloggers to give you more information about their food delivery service. twoanyone.com is a world-class delivery, take-out, and catering service for hundreds of restaurants, retailers and specialty stores. It's my first time to have our food delivered by twoanyone.com and the fambam were satisfied with the service and the foods that we ordered. Photos and feature of the restaurants after the jump. Skechers GOwalk2 #FeelTheBounce Event

Monday, December 01, 2014

There are two things that I dislike when wearing shoes whether closed or peep toe- pain and discomfort. As I've told you before, I have a very sensitive feet. My toes easily get blistered and corns eventually follow after wearing one of the so called comfy foot wear by women like flats and sandals. Until now, I only have a few pairs of shoes that gives temporary comfort. It's temporary because I only wear them for 1-2 hours max, I always bring extra pair of slippers and yes it's mandatory for me to change foot wear after an event or event after running errands.

So when Martha emailed me about Skechers GOWalk2 event, I immediately said yes because I've heard that one of the comfiest shoes here on earth were already born and made especially for walking. I think heavens have heard my woes about this foot wear dilemma of mine. I think all of you are excited to see what happened during the event and how I survived a day of wearing Skechers GOWalk2 the whole day! I can't believe I've finally found a pair of shoes that really knocks me off my feet! Click CONTINUE READING and meet the shoes that is really made for walking :)
