OOTD: Flowers

Looking for a dress to wear in an important event or gathering gives me stress. I always look inside my closet two days before the said date and do the mix match thing-y but I can't decide which is which. I'm not good in matching colors and sometimes I lack the courage to wear the dress or the outfit that suits my personality. I always ask advice from my mom, my sibs and ze hubby.

When I received a VIP invitation for the Lolita grand launch, the first thing that came into my mind was the outfit. The e-vite's theme was very sweet and girly. I asked blogger friends if I need to wear something formal. When they said no, just wear something where you'll stand out means I can wear anything, a dress or a cute top and skirt will do. So I decided to wear something colorful and girly. I already made an outfit post wearing this dress here and just added a floral cover up that somehow made this outfit Japanese inspired. Tulip dress and Floral kimono cover-up combined and tada~ flowers!

Haul + Thank you Mama for this bag

Wednesday, September 26, 2012

Hello loves! Been very busy last week hence lack of post. Have you joined my three giveaways yet? If not, click here, here and here to join :D I still have another giveaway coming this October so keep on checking for updates. I have so many things to share with you like another batch of winnings, haul posts, product reviews and the Lolita Fragrance Launch that I attended last week. So for this post, I wanna share with you my recent haul mostly skin care products like soaps and toner. A printed canvass bag that was given to me by my mom when I visited them weeks ago.

My original plan was to restock on All Organics Lemongrass toner when I claimed my Laniege Snow BB Cushion at Trinoma. But I can't resists the urge to buy a bar of my favorite Calamansi soap even though I still have one in my closet (yes, I keep them in my closet so that my clothes will smell citrusy :P) and a new one in my soap dish.
All Organics Lemongras Facial Toner
All Organics Calamansi Soap
Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion 4g Samples
Snoe white no. 10 Special Black Bleaching Bar
I was in a hurry that day but when I passed by the Snoe counter, I decided to buy another bar of soap. The Special Black Bleaching bar was out of stock that day and the SA said that they already had a Snoe counter at Sm Fairview located inside Cinderella. Yehey!!! I can now buy my favorite soaps from Snoe anytime I want since SM Fairview is just 10 mins away from our house.
Snoe white no.3 Special Kojic with Glutathione Beauty Bar
Yay! Another soap from Snoe white, I heard Kojic and Glutathione combo is another way to effectively even out skin tone. Let's see if this will pass my standards when it comes to whitening department. I have high hopes with Snoe and I'm sure this will be another HG.

Genevieve Gozum Printed Canvass Bag
My mon gave me this shoulder/body bag when I visited them weeks ago. I'm not sure if this can pass as aztec or tribal in terms of the print. I still don't know what kind of outfit will suit this bag. Any suggestions from you will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot!!!

Good Times!~

Feature: AcneCare Anti-Acne Complex

Acne also called pimples or zits is the most common skin problem that teenagers experience during adolescence. I considered myself lucky during this stage because I'm one of those few who had clear and smooth skin. I always say to myself that my skin will remain blemish free because I never suffered from those red, swollen and painful zits during teen years but boy oh boy I'm wrong! My clear and smooth skin vanished when I reached my late 20's and I always complain on adult acne. I tried so many topical ointments from creams, gels and serums which only gave temporary results. Some are effective but it takes a lot of time, money and effort to see maximum results. I guess the treatment should not only focus on the outer layer of our skin. There should be an extra boosts from within.

Who doesn't want smooth and clear skin? Many of us have tried different treatments to achieve healthy skin and clear complexion. What if you tried everything and still see the same problem again and again? Now is the time to take another step in combating skin imperfections and it should start from within. Let me introduce to you this Anti-Acne Complex called AcneCare which contain natural ingredients in combating acne related problems.
The AcneCare Capsule Philippines, effective solution for acne, pimples, acne blemishes, black heads, pimple pores,
oily skin and other skin problems. Stop Acne with Lactofferin, clinically tested and proven solution for all Acne related problems.
Fights off acne, red spots and other skin blemishes--- Naturally! LinumLife Philippines. Lactofferin Philippines.

AcneCare Fight Pimples from the Inside Naturally

Comprises of a proprietary blend that derives a bioactive complex rich Lactoferrin , Linumlife and zinc gluconate. AcneCare is based on milk's many bioactive components with specific physiological effects to support the reduction of blemishes and redness associated with a bad complexion. The most essential mechanisms are the anti-microbial, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties to help promote a healthy complexion from the inside.

• Clinically proven against Acne
• Helps you get rid of acne , red spots and blemishes
• Also works for body acne and adult acne
• Promotes and maintains healthy skin & clear complexion

AcneCare contains 3 Anti- Acne Complex:

Lactoferrin- Lactoferrin plays a supportive role in nourishing the skin from the inside through three mechanisms: anti-microbial (enhances the body's natural defenses against bacteria), anti-inflammatory (helps assist reduction in redness associated with a poor complexion), and antioxidant (helps aid the repair of damaged skin cells from blemishes.

LinumLife Complex provides lignans from Flax, a well-recognized group of phytoestrogens with estrogenic and anti-estrogenic action, which helps in the treatment of acne. Produced through a proprietary process, LinumLife Complex is concentrated and provides between 10 to 30 times more lignans than whole flax or other flax ingredients.

Zinc facilitates the production and regulation of about 200 hormones in your body, and one of that is testosterone. It is known that testosterone is one of the main promoters of acne. Intake of zinc may prevent potential hormone imbalances that can lead to outbreaks.

Zinc is also closely involved in protein synthesis and in collagen formation in your body, both of which are essential in the maintenance of healthy skin and in normalizing production of skin oils. Zinc can help heal your blemishes, reduce the inflammation, and reduce the androgenic effect of hormones on your skin.

AcneCare 30 capsules/bottle at Php 885.00 good for two weeks use.
I want to try this product and let's see how it will fare with my blemished skin after finishing three bottles.

AcneCare is available at Mercury Drugstore, Watsons and South Star Drug. For more information about the product visit Vida NutriScience Inc. and like their Facebook page AcneCare for your daily dose of skin care tips and advice.

Preserving Mankind with Kojiesan Men

Saturday, September 22, 2012

What's your type of guy? I've been asked this question many times before and I always replied with the same answers- responsible, loyal, trustworthy, and kind. I always answer this question with a description of his personality rather than what is manly. According to wiki.com Manly is an adjective used to describe the physical and psychological characteristics of individuals traditionally associated with men such as courage and strength. I can't remember if there was a time that I answered the question above with something related to his physical attributes like tall, dark, and handsome.

I guess that the concept of manliness has changed over time. I knew some girls who choose a guy with what is physically satisfying to them. I'm not against them and I think manliness should be an equal balance of the physical, mental, social, and spiritual aspects. He must be physically fit by engaging in a healthy lifestyle, mentally capable and mature enough to handle all types of stress, socially inclined so that he can share his views thus learning from them, and doesn't neglect his personal growth through religious/spiritual way of life.
