     Hi dearies! Do you consider taking natural/organic supplements as part of your everyday vitamins and nutrients essentials? I’m sure you’re aware that this food supplement comes in many forms. I’ve tried different kinds of food supplements in the past that’s why I know there’s no harm in trying. This so-called food supplements are not medicines that after taking for a month will heal your high blood pressure, diabetes, and the like. These food supplements have the “no approved therapeutic claim” on their labels because simply it’s a food supplement that will nourish the body and in my opinion, prevents the body from further decay. Meaning once you drink them, they will boost your body, give you energy, cleanse your system, flush all the toxins, and eventually will help you prevent those nasty chronic illnesses and the big C.

     Before I received a bottle of this purple drink, I already have an idea what this food supplement can do to our body. What I like:

• The taste- doesn't have a weird or funky taste. It's like I'm drinking grapes that are concentrated. It's a bit sour but tolerable.
• The packaging is simple, it's in a sturdy bottle and the label is complete with product information.
• The scent is like that of red wine but tolerable. I have a sensitive nose and drinking food supplements with weird smell makes me nauseous. I never experienced that while drinking this.
• No weird feeling or an upset stomach after drinking one shot of this purple juice first thing in the morning. I drink one or two shots of this upon waking up.
• I feel a bit full after taking this before breakfast.
• No breakouts, irritations or whatsoever in my skin. I also noticed that during the time I'm drinking this juice, no new zits or pimples popping out my forehead and chin.
• I noticed that my skin is less oily. 
• I love eating spicy and oily foods. I noticed that there are traces of oil in my stool which is a good indication that bad fats are being expelled from my body.
• I'm usually constipated and this juice helped me ease the difficulty in emptying the bowel.
• I usually crave for sweets in between meals but during the period that I'm drinking this juice, less sweet cravings for a month.
• I feel less lethargic on days that I have mood swings. I can say that I have extra energy during the time I'm drinking this juice.
• I noticed less hair fall. I've been battling with hair fall these past few months after my father's hospitalization. I can say that my hair fall is stress related. Last month, I noticed that I have less hair fall compared to the month that I'm not drinking this. I still use the same hair care products before and while I was drinking the juice.

What I don't like:

• The price- can be a bit expensive for budget-conscious individuals.
• Not easily accessible for those who live in the provinces.

Will I repurchase? Yes!

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.5/5 rating. There are 39 reasons to drink this Organique Acai juice and I think in the long run I will definitely see those results. If I'm diabetic, have cholesterol, suffering from Asthma, and if I have other diseases, the results will be verified by a monthly laboratory. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a food supplement and would like to cleanse your body from toxins.

     Hi dearies! Last month, I received a skin supplement from Growrich-Great Well Pharma and it's in pill form. Rosy Peel Capsule is not new to me because I've seen it on Mercury Drugstore's shelves every time I buy my father's maintenance medicine. Yes, I'm intrigued because simply put it is a skincare supplement. I'm preventing myself from feeding my curiosity at that time that's why I did not bother to buy a pill or two because I don't want to ingest something that I have no idea with.

     I did a little research and found different features and reviews on Rosy Peel from beauty bloggers here in the Philippines. Most of them said that it made their skin glow and they look less haggard during the time they were taking this supplement. This product is a combination of young green strawberries, guava, bignay, and kamias. These four fruits are known to be a strong antioxidant, gives anti-aging action on the skin, prevents and repair cell damage, reduce risks of disease linked to aging, an antibacterial remedy, and other benefits not only make the skin beautiful from the outside but also to protect the body from free-radicals. • The capsule is easy to swallow.
• There's no funky odor or scent. Perfect for those with a sensitive nose like me.
• No stomach ache, nausea, dizziness, or allergic reactions while taking this supplement.
• No further breakouts, allergies, or whatsoever.
• Rich in Vitamins C and E from the main ingredients of this supplement. These vitamins are known to make the skin soft and supple.
• It made my pale skin brighter and glowing.
• I usually have a mouth sore (singaw) on my gums that resulted from hard brushing of teeth. I noticed that it healed faster than before.
• There are batch, manufacturing, and expiry date printed on the bottle.
• Easily accessible.
• It's easy on the pocket especially for the budget-conscious individual because it can be bought per piece. 

What I don't like:

• None so far.

Will I purchase? Yes, it's in the realm of possibility. 

Recommendation:
     I give this product a 4.5/5 rating. I can say that Rosy Peel works like your regular vitamin C but has a more anti-oxidant effect because of the ingredients. It also has vitamin E from Guava, another anti-oxidant that when taken regularly gives glow and suppleness of the skin. I recommend this product if you like to take vitamin C and vitamin E coming from natural sources like strawberries, guava, bignay, and kamias. I know some are afraid of taking a synthetic form of food supplement so this one is for you.

      I can say that this herbal supplement is promising and when taken religiously, it can make the skin bright, less dry, and supple. It may not give a drastic change in terms of skin lightening, but it can make the skin look younger and fresher. Less haggard-looking and more on the anti-aging department.

     Hi, dearies! This is a very long overdue review. I received 2 bottles of Ishigaki Premium Plus Glutathione from Cheska's Online Store last May. I'm already familiar with the brand even before I started blogging. I haven't tried it because I was pregnant that time and I don't care about whitening supplements. If my memory serves me right, ladies were discreet when it comes to taking whitening supplements here in our country 7 years ago.      I'm also a lurker in different beauty forums before that's why I've read real experiences from users of this brand. I've seen more of positive results than negative ones. What I like:

• The price- the cheapest glutathione brand in the market today.
• The bottle packaging is handy. It is tightly sealed once you purchase a bottle so no need to worry about contamination.
• There's a stinky rotten egg odour once you open the bottle- it only means that it's authentic. I've read in some forums that authentic glutathione should smell like rotten egg. 
• This glutathione also contains L-cysteine and N-Acetyl-Cysteine known as potent boosters to speed up the whitening process of the skin.
• I didn't experience any discomforts like vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts, or whatsoever.
• It made my skin glowing even if I always stay up late at night or if I only have 4 hours of sleep.
• It lessened cystic pimples popping around my chin which I experience every month.
• The color of my freckles lightened a bit while I'm taking this capsule.
• After finishing 2 bottles, light scars from insect bites are not that visible.
• It maintained my skin tone even. I took this last May 27 until June 30 and during those days, I'm always out in the sun. I attend events in the afternoon and there are times that I forgot to bring my umbrella.
• I'm already fair to begin with but it made my skin not pale or yellow white but more of a pinkish/rosy white tone.
• Batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the package.

What I don't like:

• Not easily accessible, you have to purchase it online.
• No assurance if this product is BFAD approved.

Will I purchase? It's in the realm of possibility.

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.75/5 rating. One of the cheapest brands IMO. If you have a morena skin tone, it is best to use this brand for more than 3 months. The effectiveness of one product really varies from person to person. This supplement is also meant to treat blood disorders and serves as an antioxidant in the liver. So if you smoke, drink, and always stay late at night this supplement will also help cleanse the toxins from those I mentioned above in your body. Just leave a comment below if you questions and I will try my best to answer them.

New Users: Start with 1 serving per day; gradually increase to desired daily intake. You may initially experience changes in bowel habits or minor bloating, as your body adjusts to increased fiber intake.

     I've been taking Metamucil everyday. Once or twice a day 30 minutes before breakfast and/or 30 minutes before dinner plus lots and lots of water. I've been drinking this fiber powder for two weeks already. The photo below shows how I drink Metamucil. I just have to make approximations on how many grams I'm going to stir inside my drinking glass. Even though the instruction is clear (1 ½ teaspoons), I think there are times that I go more than or less than that value. 

    A side note: I've been drinking psyllium fiber since 2009 and Metamucil is not readily available here in our country that time. I had a salpingectomy operation last 2012. When I was in the operating room, I heard my doctors saying that my intestines are clean. It's a pre-operation order not to eat and drink 10-12 hours before the operation. Drinking fiber may have helped me with the 'clean intestines'? I'm not sure with my observation so feel free to comment if you're a medical expert. Thank you!

What I like:

• This psyllium fiber powder smells like real orange juice. Yum!
• Metamucil Fiber Powder is easy to mix and prepare.
• It's easy to drink and swallow because it is already in powder form.
• No bloating or other stomach irritations.
• After drinking a glass of Metamucil, my stomach feels full so there's a tendency that  I eat less/small portions and crave less sweets.
• As explained above, Metamucil is a viscous soluble fiber that forms a gel to provide health benefits in controlling cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
• It's sugar and gluten free.
• There's a batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the package.
• Easily available.

What I don't like:

• The price can be a bit steep for budget conscious individuals.
• Doesn't come with a scoop. I find it hard to measure the exact amount of Metamucil powder (5.8 grams) in a 250 ml of water. 
• It's only available in one size jar.

Will I repurchase: It's in the realm of possibility. A mainstay in my diet because I drink it everyday to maintain my weight and to eat happy and lessen the guilt whenever I crave for sweets, salty, and fatty food.

Recommendation: 

     I give this a 4.25/5 rating. Finally, a psyllium fiber that is in powder form and easy to drink and swallow. Those who can't take or drink the psyllium fiber in husk form will benefit a lot from Metamucil. It can also be mixed with your favorite drinks like yogurt and milk to make an orange smooth shake. As a precaution, consult a medical practitioner first before taking any form of supplement. Read what I've posted above and always follow the instructions especially if you're taking medication.

     If you prefer on mixing it with water, I suggest you drink it birskly so that it will not form into a gel-like mixture in less than 1 minute. Met Tathione is a well-known brand of glutathione here in the Philippines. I can say they're one of the pioneer brands that's been commercially sold in pharmacies, drugstores, and beauty stores nationwide. When you say glutathione, the first brand that will come to your mind is MET, right? I've known this brand years ago but wasn't able to try it since I've read so-so reviews about the effects. 

     My cousin has tried Met Tathione years ago with the first formulation and swears with the effects on her body as a whole, she took this not only to whiten skin but to strengthen her immune system. Even though Met Tathione had received some negative reviews in the past, I still believe that premium brands will give great results. Always remember that results vary from one individual to another, the effect of whitening may be fast or slow depending on the individual's body. If you smoke, drink, and have more toxins in the body from environmental pollution, chances are there will be a slower effect since the glutathione will protect you first from those free-radicals then with continued use of glutathione let's say for two more or more, the whitening effect will be seen slowly but surely.

After 1 month of taking Met Tathione, my skin is visibly glowing even though I only have 3-4 hours of sleep. The photo below was taken around 5 p.m. The lighting wasn't able to show how fair my skin is but there's a pinkish glow in my arms. NO FILTER!

• The packaging is so classy. I like that it is repackaged in a minimalist design. The design of the box and bottle packaging exudes what high-quality Japan-made products look like. The box is sealed with plastic and the bottle opening is well-sealed also. 
• The new Met Tathione is also available in two-capsule sachets. Great for trips. No need to worry about the extra bottle in your baggage.
• The new Met Tathione is in liquid soft gel capsule form- this kind of capsule is easily absorbed by the body, unlike the regular capsule.
• This liquid soft gel capsule doesn't have a funky or weird smell. 
• The new Met Tathione is now combined with Algatrium, a component that can triple the glutathione production in the body. It is one of the most potent boosters available in the market today. Algatrium is a patented antioxidant found only in Met, first in the country making Met three times more effective!

• I have a small scratch on my knee became a scar. Taking Met Tathione plus applying my favorite whitening lotion lightened the scar a bit but I can say taking the glutathione made the skin renewal faster than usual. Since I have fair skin, the scar is noticeable but after taking Met Tathione, the dark scar became less visible.
• Batch, manufacturing, and expiry date printed on the package. 
• Easily accessible.

What I don't like:

• The price is steep for budget-conscious individuals and those with a tight budget. 

Will I purchase? Yes! 

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.75/5 rating. I'm happy with the results that I've experienced with Met Tathione after taking it for a full month. I take the capsules in two divided doses because according to Dra. Cecille, absorption of glutathione is better in divided doses than popping it all at once. No need to take Vitamin C because Algatrium will boost the absorption of glutathione in the body faster. Fewer pills to pop because of that too. 

     This post is getting lengthy already and I have more things to share. Comment all your questions and I'll base my answers according to what Dra. Cecille explained to us :) I'm relieved that there will be professional advice or backup for those who want to take glutathione but are afraid of ingesting food supplements/medicine inside their body.

     I rarely get coughs, colds, and flu. I guess it's because I take vitamin c every day. I take around 500- 1,000 mg of vitamin c alongside with the fruits and vegetables that I eat. There are so many kinds of vitamin c today and sodium ascorbate is gaining popularity because they dubbed it as the "non-acidic" vitamin c. 

     According to vitaminfoundation.org- Sodium ascorbate is a form of vitamin C that has been bound to the mineral salt sodium. Like vitamin C, the basic properties and health benefits of sodium ascorbate are virtually identical with ascorbic acid, but the mineral salt buffers thus lower the acidity of ascorbic acid. The buffered sodium ascorbate may enter the bloodstream more slowly than ascorbic acid when taken orally. So those who are veering away from ascorbic acid because it causes stomach pain, sodium ascorbate is what you need if you think you need an added boost in your vitamin c intake.
