     Hi dearies! Christmas is getting near and 'tis really the season to be jolly because shopping deals are everywhere. Last week, I was invited by Nuffnang Philippines to witness the grand raffle draw of Marks and Spencer Philippines Shop Your Way to the UK Raffle Promo.

     I'm not aware that they had this awesome raffle promo where every P2,500 worth of purchase from Mark and Spencer Philippines, the shopper will get a chance to win a direct round trip tickets for two to London with $2,000 pocket money! This promo is dedicated to all Marks and Spencer loyalty card holders who shopped with at least Php 2,500 worth of products last August 14 to November 01, 2015. Yay!      The event was held at Marks and Spencer Store in Greenbelt 5. It was graced by bloggers, press, shoppers, and Marks and Spencer loyalty card holder. Before the exciting part of the program started, we had a simple yet festive gathering as we enjoy the cocktails and wine being served.

     To feel the spirit of Christmas, talented children of Mandaluyong Children's Choir serenaded us their Christmas carol renditions. It's Christmas feels already that night because these children sang joyfully the Christmas songs that everyone grew up with.

     So without further ado, the announcement of winners made everyone excited. Imagine, the first winner will fly to London aboard Philippine Airlines Business Class- it's a round trip ticket with $2,000 pocket money. while the second winner will fly with economy class ticket. Bonding with Kenzo at the Res|Toe|Run Rumble Yard Event

     Can I say that I'm lucky because I have bonding time with Kenzo everyday at home? Since I'm a stay-at-home mom, I have all the time in the world to spend quality time with him. I've seen him grow physically, emotionally and mentally. The experience of seeing his actions everyday is pure bliss. But there are times that we get boring, doing the same stuff everyday. So when the need to unwind and relax outside the house arise, we go out and chill in the mall. There are so many ways on how to spend quality time with your family and kids, sometimes the best venue- inside your favorite malls!

     Weeks ago, I was invited to have a unique bonding time with Kenzo. This bonding time is something that the whole family can do. Shoe shopping, anyone? Yes, buying a pair of shoes is a bonding where time will be well spent. I've realized that choosing the style of foot wear that I'll buy for my son will be more exciting if he's inside the store with me. There are times that I do the shoe shopping alone hence I've bought the wrong size and he doesn't want the style. With this kind of bonding, I've seen how Kenzo responded to different shoe styles. With this, he's able to show me what's inside his mind. More highlights of the event below :)

     The Res|Toe|Run Kids Rumble Yard officially launched the store’s kids category last October 10-11, 2015 and is held at the Activity Center of Robinsons Magnolia. With the aim of introducing the kids brands available in store, they made this family-bonding activity that run for two days. It's a  playground-themed event that was open to public and to media, celebrities, and online personalities.

     Kenzo and I had a blast during the event. Res|Toe|Run’s kids brands set up fun and exciting booths for boys and girls to explore, create, and enjoy at the Rumble Yard. “The overall idea of the event is to represent each brand’s personality.

• DC gives the cool and hip vibe
• Native will awaken their creative side 
• People Footwear offers excitement and thrill by creating a buzz
• Flossy and Faux Pas are both for the young girls who love to bring out their princess side

     The event was an enjoyable moment not only for the kids but for the entire family as well. The Res|Toe|Run Kids Rumble Yard is created for kids to have a special time to bond with their parents through fun and exciting games and activities. Family bonding and spending time with the kids is very important even in simple activities like this. That's why when they invited me and Kenzo to the event, I said yes. Looking for a pair of shoes with my son is a bonding that's so awesome. We enjoyed searching for the perfect pair of shoes.

     Apart from the booths, the event also hosted a one-hour program that is absolutely engaging such as the Faux Pas Pin the Jams, People Footwear’s Spell it, Win it!, Native’s Twister!, DC Shoes’ Longest Breath Challenge, and Flossy’s Prints Matching game. Families also go home with keepsakes at the Res|Toe|Run photo booth.

     Kenzo enjoyed the tattoo booth, he asked me if I will allow him to have this design on his arm. He wanted Spider Man but it will take more time to do that so the artist just tweaked the design.  It's still cool and Kenzo liked it!

ELLE Celebrates 70 Years of Style

     One of the biggest international brands, ELLE, marks its 70th year, and here in the Philippines, the recent celebration was a chic fashion hurrah that showcased the iconic styles over the last seven decades along with the most in vogue styles of today.

     The star-studded event was held at Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall. Showbiz power couples were present with their families and friends to witness this grand celebration. Everyone's so excited to see the little ones strut the runway. The event also showcased the latest collection of ELLE Philippines including the travel accessories, kids' wear this holiday season, and other timeless pieces that only ELLE can offer.      The event was hosted by Nicole Andersson where the fashion fete featured an array of activities including the ELLE Exhibit, with prominent issues of the magazine together with the Kids and Juniors collections on display; and experiential areas where participants got to decorate their own shirts and shoes, take Instagram photos for printing as souvenirs, and learn more interesting trivia about the beloved brand.

     Celebrity stylist Alyanna Martinez also came out to give tips to parents and kids on appropriate and stylish dressing, particularly for the anticipated Fall/Winter season.

UNIQLO x LEMAIRE Collection Now Available

     Dressing for the holiday season can be tricky here in our country. We have an erratic weather and sometimes it's unpredictable. For a country like ours, the type of clothes we wear should be in tune with the season. One store that offers a wide range of life wear- UNIQLO is already set to give us comfortable fashion pieces that's easy to mix and match.

      I was invited to the launch of UNIQLO's special collection weeks ago at The Mega Fashion Hall. This is the last collection of the year and it is a collaboration with French designer LEMAIRE. Even though the collection is dubbed as luxury wear, I can say that most of the pieces can be easily paired with basics. Select UNIQLO stores now carry special collections only in its large stores in Metro Manila – SM Megamall, SM North Edsa, SM Aura and SM Mall of Asia. These branches have the widest and most complete selection of apparels for women, men, kids and babies. The stores carry limited-edition pieces from international brands and designer collaborations such as DISNEY Magic for All, Ines De La Fressange, and UNIQLO’s most recent partnership with French fashion designer Christophe Lemaire.      During the launch, my eyes were glued on the plaid skirts and the basic tees on display. Some of the pieces that were on display are so me. I like wearing basics because it's very easy to mix and match but the pieces from the collection have touches of luxury and elegance perfect not only for everyday wear but can also be key pieces in office or party outfit.
