     Our favorite clothing brand- Penshoppe opened its all-new flagship store yesterday and I got the first dibs on what Penshoppe has to offer this 2017. Definitely it's a new year, new store because the 800-square meter fashion haven dubbed as Penshoppe Capital screams all things fashion. This is not your ordinary Penshoppe store so you really have to see for yourselves :)

     Be in shopping haven as the store features an an edgy yet minimalist layout with white walls, floors, and ceiling. It also has giant LED screens playing the brand’s latest campaigns in place of display windows. Highlights of the event, my picks, and the pieces in store for you from Penshoppe's Spring Summer 2017 Collection below :)

“One of our biggest considerations when designing Penshoppe Capital is to make it a destination,” shares Jeff Bascon, Penshoppe’s Brand Director. “In order to do this, we need to create a unique shopping experience. That’s when we thought about playing with space. OOTD: J's On His Feet

     Hello mommies! Here's another OOTD of my son Kenzo wearing his latest kicks- Jordan Eclipse BG. I want to share a short story why I'm a fan of Jordan shoes. When I was in high school, Nike released series of Air Jordans like Jordan 11, Jordan 12, and Jordan 13. I bought the first two because of their colors (combination of white, red, and black) that I really like. I wore those rubber shoes during P.E. days and when I'm wearing jeans and shorts. 

     Fast forward today, the styles that I've mentioned above became rare. I think the original Jordan 11 and Jordan 12 sells for more than Php 10,000 now. If you're a fan of Air Jordan prolly you have those iconic shoes in your collection. Nike Jordan offers a wide array of rubber shoes today and I'm confused with the styles and names of new releases I see in stores and online.      Bayo’s color palette was based on happy hues and shades that complement the season. “Design sensibilities remain classic and elegant, which are all consistent with what Bayo is all about” Lagon said.

     This year, Bayo is partnering with KIDS 4 Others (Kids in Dedicated Service 4 Others) to celebrate the season of giving. Part of the proceeds from this collection will go to the Concordia Children’s Services and Gentle Hands Inc.

     Style Harvest is a collaborative brand of Bayo launched in 2013 promoting Filipino creativity. This brand also aims at helping communities and organizations by sponsoring projects that help cultivate Filipino talent and ingenuity.

     Last year, Bayo collaborated with the Tourism Office of Pampanga that invoked the Filipino Christmas tradition by taking inspiration from the parols made by the artisans of San Fernando Pampanga. Bayo also made partnership with Virlanie Foundation, Inc. to support its mission to help less fortunate children. Both organizations foster the love for the Filipino and its heritage.

OOTD: Pink and White

     There are events that require and outfit or attire in colors that I'm not comfortable wearing. Pink and white to be exact. I always feel that I gained an extra pound or two wearing a white top. If you'll rummage my closet, you'll see mostly neutrals and no pinks or girly colors. But when the need to wear something pink or white arise, I follow :)

     Months ago, I went to an event where the attendees should wear white. I worried a little days before the event because-white. Fortunately, I still have white tops that I bought at SM Woman last year and thought of just pairing it with a skirt. Fast forward, I was window shopping a day  before the event and found a printed skirt that I paired with my white top. The combination- pink and white! Outfit details below :)

     I will just make this post short. To give you an idea, I always go for comfort every time I attend events even if there's an outfit. Thankful that Jen Maslang of shopgirljen.com is always there to help and give advice on what to wear. She's my fashion adviser :)

This was a three-day event where the new and improved look of SM Woman debuts in a glamorous fashion show.

Penshoppe Brings Lucky Blue Smith to Manila

     We just got Lucky and yes you read it right. International casual wear brand Penshoppe is bringing one of its brand ambassadors, Lucky Blue Smith, to Manila. The male supermodel is expected to arrive in the country on July 29 to participate in a fashion show and meet and greet with fans. The 18-year old Los Angeles native joined Team Penshoppe as its newest global ambassador early this year.

     On July 29, Lucky Blue will walk the runway as a special guest model for Penshoppe's fashion show at the Conrad Manila. Here are the mechanics:

• From July 6-17, customers can get a promo code with a minimum spend of P500 at any Penshoppe boutique. They must then log on to www.penshoppe.com/luckyblue and use the promo code to register and receive their raffle entries. 
• Registered Penshoppe loyalty card holders can also get a raffle entry for free just by registering online.      If my memory serves me right, I've seen an old friend wearing Gola sneakers ten years ago. I was in college back then and in one of our unplanned meeting, he was sporting a brown sneakers with the word Gola printed on the lower side of the shoes.      There's short program during the event. A mini catwalk happened where the models strutted the runway wearing these Golas! Looking at the photos, you can see them wear their Golas in different outfits that's wearable and stylish.

     Gola also introduced their brand ambassadors who joined these models wearing their favorite Gola sneakers. These brand ambassadors are television and showbiz personalities who have distinct personalities that matches their chosen Gola footwear styles.
