Landmark's Best Beauty and Skin Care Finds ^_^

     I just recently went at TriNoma to replenish some stocks of my skin care products. Thank you Landmark because you've got it all for me. Sounds familiar, eh? Instead of SM, I owe it all to Landmark. Best and affordable prices, wide range of choices and can pass my standards when it comes to quality. I have to feed my curiosity on new skin care brands which I think will be competing with some of my HG's. I also dropped by at Watson's Sm Fairview on our way home because I'm in need of something that I can put on my new wedge to ease the pain while walking. Here's what I got:

     After reading good feedbacks from fellow beauty bloggers, I decided to try Snoe White soaps from Snoe Beauty. And since they have variants like my HG soaps from All Organics, I'm totally sold!

Product Review: GEO Super Nudy Gray XCH-625- The Bigger, The Better???

     As promised, I'll be making a review on my new GEO contact lens. I bought this new pair of colored contact lens last December and wore it only twice. If you're a reader of my blog, I'm sure you've seen my photo wearing my first GEO contact lens and made a review here :) 

     After looking at my photos wearing this lens, I can say I have a love-hate relationship with this style.

What I like:

• Made my eyes bigger like a doll.
• Affordable for a 1 year life span contact lens versus other brands.
• Comes in different designs,colors,sizes.
• Comes with a free lens case.

What I don't like:

• Looks unnatural on me, IMO.
• Uncomfortable to wear since it's bigger than the original size of my eyes.
• I need to lubricate my eyes every 30 minutes.
• Made my right eye "red" after using.
• Wearable for 3 hours only.

Will I repurchase: No

Recommendation:

     I give this a 3.5/5 rating. I love this because it made my eyes look bigger like a doll but it looks off on me. I also don't want to suffer my eye and feel uncomfortable. But I'm sure all fashionista, cos players, kikay, and everyone who loves wearing contact lenses will really like this. Just be sure to practice how to properly wear it. If not properly used, it will cause danger and harm to your eyes. Be sure to buy the authentic ones because there are a lot of fakes circulating around the market.

     Is it a Yay or a nyay? I need your help, I really can't decide :(

Product Review: NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa

     My camera is still not working! Pardon me with some blurry photos but I really, really want to make a review on this lip product. All photos were taken from my phone and when I'm doing watermarks on them, I know it doesn't give justice to its real color. My other problem in trying a bright  lippie is that it turns out darker than the true color because I have tad pigmented lips. 

     Some said this is a dupe for the infamous MAC Girl About Town lipstick and we all know that MAC lipsticks are expensive. I don't own GAT lipstick so I can't compare it but I'm impress with it and for being a cheapskate, I'm totally sold!

     This lip cream is one of my longest lemming and I'm glad that I bought it. A lot of girls have been raving them and some of them can't resist to buy all the colors, why?

What I like:

• The packaging is nice, I like the top part of the tube that is rubbery finish and looks expensive.
• Really pigmented.
• The doe foot applicator makes applying easy.
• Can be used as a lip stain or full matte look without using lip liner.
• The texture is creamy, velvety and it's like whipped cream on my lips but goes dry after minutes of application.
• The scent- sweet but not overpowering.
• Doesn't dry my lips.
• Once dry it's transfer and water resistant.
• Last 6 hours on my lips.
• Easy to remove.
• There's a batch and manufacturing date printed on it.
• Inexpensive.

What I don't like: 

• Since this turns out matte after a few minutes, it emphasized fine lines on my lips.
• Comes off after eating or sipping my drink and fades unevenly.
• It left my lips with a lip liner like line when I ate greasy food.

Will I repurchase? Yes! I want to try other colors like Sao Paulo, Amsterdam and Milan

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.75/5 rating. I really love this to bits! Brightens my dull face and gives an oomph factor to my lips. Be sure to moisturize your lips prior to application to prevent dryness. I always use my EOS or Carmex lip balm underneath it. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream is love!

    Hi dearies! How's your day? I know it's gloomy and raining outside. The lazy in me just wanted to lay down in bed and sleep all day.  But I want to make a review because some thoughts are swirling on my mind and I want to say it right now. Anyhoo, before I fell in love with All Organics soaps like Calamansi, Papaya with Glutathione and Singkamas, my staple organic soap was Cyleina. I've been a user of Cyleina for 2 years and it's the first brand of organic soap that I love! So today, I'm rekindling my love to their kojic soap which I purchased last week when I saw it at Watson's.

     I know this soap earned a lot of raves from different forums and I'm sure most of you have tried one or two variants. What I like:

• It's organic!
• the scent- smells sweet but not overpowering
• gives a "glow" on skin
• it lightened some dark spots on my face but it takes a long time
• affordable
• easily accessible- now available at Watson's
• wide selection of soap for different skin needs

What I don't like:

• melts easily unlike All Organics (same organic soaps which doesn't contain any soap hardener)
• no batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the box
• a bit drying on skin

Will I repurchase? Yes! I need to use it again to lighten some marks left by pimples on my face

Recommendation: 

     I give this a 4.5/5 rating. I really love organic soaps and this kojic acid is one of them. For maximum results, leave the lather for 3 minutes then rinse. Use your favorite lotion or body butter after. Since this organic soaps doesn't contain soap hardener, cut it into pieces so that it will not melt easily.
