Familiar and Fresh: How URC Continues to Surprise Filipinos After 70 Years

Some things just become part of our everyday life. They are the snacks we grew up with, the chocolate we reach for when we want a little treat, the coffee that starts our morning, or the drink we grab when we need something refreshing. For many Filipino families, these familiar favorites have been part of countless everyday momentswhether it’s merienda with the kids, a quick snack during a busy workday, or a simple coffee break at home. And when we think of the brands that have been part of these little moments, Universal Robina Corporation (URC) is one name that naturally comes to mind. For 70 years, URC has been bringing food and beverage choices to Filipino homes, growing alongside generations of consumers.

From Jack ‘n Jill Piattos, Cream-O, Cloud 9, Maxx, C2 Cool and Clean, and Great Taste to Payless and TopBreed, URC has built a portfolio of brands that many of us already know and love. What makes its 70-year journey interesting is how these familiar favorites continue to evolve with us. New flavors, new textures, and new formats give us something different to discover while keeping the familiar taste and experience we already enjoy. It’s a reminder that staying familiar doesn’t mean staying the same.

Smart and Healthy Snacking with Gullón

Did you know that one of the secrets to healthy eating is to eat frequent small meals throughout the day rather than indulge in one or two big meals? Snacking provides energy boosts in-between meals and helps curb your appetite so that you are less likely to overeat when mealtime comes.

No, don't go for junk foods, sugary and salty options during snack time because you can also enjoy snacking the healthy way. Smart and healthy snacking are great for managing blood sugar levels, after-exercise meals, and a better mood. Back-To-School Baon Hacks with Jack n' Jill Magic Junior

Reality sinks in, the kids are really back-to-school. Time to wake up early five days a week, prepare healthy baon and no fuss snacks. My son is so excited to go back-to-school and see his old classmates and meet new friends.

We are also giddy to do our weekly grocery to buy Kenzo's snacks. My son is active in school and there were times that he skips eating his baon if he sees the same thing every day. Let’s make preparing baon extra special for our little ones by offering them a variety of snacks that will definitely make their school days more magical!

It's back to school again. After shopping for school supplies last May and early June, now is the time for the kiddos to see their friends, meet new teachers and have fun in class.
