     Celebrate the holidays looking good, feeling great. Filipinos start counting down to Christmas as early as September. It’s definitely our favorite time of the year. This is an exciting season for most of us because of the events we go here and there.

     We love the holidays because it’s a time for get-togethers with family members and friends. Aside from the gifts we receive, parties to attend, and food to enjoy, the true essence of the occasion is the warm feeling we get when we’re with our loved ones.

     What's your definition of busy? For me, it's the so little time so much to do kind of day. I always say ‘I’m busy!’ even if there's a free time in between. Looks like the word 'busy' is everyone's favorite. 

     We glorify being busy because we are pressured to achieve a lot, all at once: to climb the corporate ladder, take care of our family’s needs, raise children, and manage the household all while curating our lives into a perfect feed on social media. Did you know that when you are too “busy” ‘24/7, seven days a week, 30 days in a month and so on, you end up giving everything and that precious gift for yourself- time!

     As part of its efforts to help improve the lives of Filipinos through health and wellness, Watsons recently staged a health symposium event titled “Watsons World of Wellness” graced by the country's top medical practitioners as resource speakers at The Meralco Theater. 

     The symposium is part of Watsons’ continuous support in providing its members under the Watsons Advantage Program (WAP) with affordable medication, vitamins and supplements for their health needs, as well as imparting knowledge on the importance of health management.

     Father's Day is just around the corner and its a tradition to celebrate this day with the fambam. He was the first man in your life. He carried you as a baby when mom was too tired and sleep-deprived to do so. He changed your diapers and stayed up at night even when he was tired from work. When you started school, he woke up an hour early to take you on his way to work. He’d also bring you to mall outings with friends and even parties. He made you look good, feel great during challenging times, such as when someone bullied you at school.

     Dad may not be at home most of the time but when he is, he makes sure he spends quality time with you. Now that you’re all grown up and caught up with the realities of life, time spent with your father isn’t as much as it was when you were a child and in school.

Watsons Philippines "The Perfect Woman"

     There are so many Mother’s Day tributes out there but one stood out from the rest. Watsons Philippines recently launched a video that talks about how unaware most moms are about how their children see them—brave, selfless, caring and responsible.

     Moms are often hard on themselves; completely unaware that to their children, husbands and loved ones, they are perfect. A mother may describe the perfect woman as “loving and caring” when, in fact, that is she.
