Abby Asistio helps raise awareness on Alopecia Areata

     Since she was four years old, singer, songwriter and TV host Abby Asistio has been suffering from alopecia areata, an auto-immune skin disease resulting in partial or complete loss of hair on the scalp and the rest of the body.

       “I went through a lot of tough periods in my life. Growing up, I accepted the fact that I could never meet that standards set by the world when it comes to beauty. If I were to even fit in and be considered normal, I must resort to hiding under hats, bandanas and my ever reliable wigs,” said Abby. 

       She was just starting to finally embrace her “baldness”, when upon prodding from family and friends, Abby decided to give Novuhair a try. EOTD: Virginia Olsen Forest and Spring Eye shadows

     Hi dearies! Before I start this post, I want to let you know that this is my first EOTD or Eye of the Day post. I'm nervous because if you're a long time reader of this blog prolly you know that I don't wear eyeshadows. I'm sure you've seen selfies on my Instagram account and photos from the events that I've attended before where you'll see my eyelids naked. I really don't wear eyeshadows because I don't know how to mix and match colors or how to blend it properly. I guess, I'm really not into eyeshadows but because I love Virginia Olsen and I want you to brave yourself in trying green shadows here's my eotd using Forest and Spring. Both are wearable green eyeshadows and can also be used at night. Please pardon my photos, if you wanna laugh and say negative comments I'm okay with that. Product Review: iWhite Korea Nose Pack + Purifying Essence

    Hello dearies! Happy Sunday to all of you :) I miss doing product reviews and swatches and been so lazy these past few days. Mercury retrograde, I guess?! Anyhoo, I want to share with you another great product from iWhite Korea. It's their best-selling iWhite Nose Pack. I've been using this for more than three months now. I use it twice or thrice a week depending on the condition of my nose. I always get a lot of whiteheads on my nose because of large pores I have there. I get irritated whenever I see them stuck on the sides of my nose and it looks awful :( Before I used to manually pinch my nose and literally prick them so that the whiteheads and blackheads will come out. The end results are redness, irritation, runny nose and some cuts, yes a small cut from my finger nails. Then the next day I can see a small pimples popping on the side my nose. It only means my skin got irritated from what I did. As early as now, I'm reminding all of you not to manually force blackheads and whiteheads come out, use the right product that will let them come out naturally without pain and irritation.
