Hi dearies! Before I start this post, I want to let you know that this is my first EOTD or Eye of the Day post. I'm nervous because if you're a long time reader of this blog prolly you know that I don't wear eyeshadows. I'm sure you've seen selfies on my Instagram account and photos from the events that I've attended before where you'll see my eyelids naked. I really don't wear eyeshadows because I don't know how to mix and match colors or how to blend it properly. I guess, I'm really not into eyeshadows but because I love Virginia Olsen and I want you to brave yourself in trying green shadows here's my eotd using Forest and Spring. Both are wearable green eyeshadows and can also be used at night. Please pardon my photos, if you wanna laugh and say negative comments I'm okay with that. After the post, you'll see a rafflecopter app which means there's a giveaway from Dear Kitty Kittie Kath and Virginia Olsen. So without further ado, here's the look that I made using Virginia Olsen eye shadows Forest and Spring. Click CONTINUE READING and join the giveaway :)
EOTD: Virginia Olsen Forest and Spring + GIVEAWAY!!! Virginia Olsen Green eyeshadows in Forest, Spring and Midnight Glam (not in photo) |
This look is very simple and easy to make :) Here are the steps and the products that I used for a simple everyday green eye shadow eotd.
1. I applied Tony Moly concealer on my eyelids.
2. Using Virginia Olsen short shader brush (perfect for my monolids) I applied Forest all over my eyelids.
3. Since I don't have other eye shadow brush (makes sense that I don't apply eye shadow) I use the short shader brush to apply Spring on both corners of my eyes and blended it just to make sure only subtle darker color will be seen.
4. I line my eyes using Etude House Styling Eye Liner in black.
5. Applied In2It Eyebrow Powder on my brows (excuse my unpluck/messy brows).
EOTD: Virginia Olsen Forest and Spring + GIVEAWAY!!! |
Yay! Thank you so much for appreciating this eotd. I want to be honest, I had a hard time applying the eyeshadow because it's really pigmented and I'm afraid to go overboard. I'm happy with the results at least now I can say that I created this simple look by myself and not with the help of my sisters. And now for the giveaway, I want 5 readers of this blog to experience green shadows from Virginia Olsen! I'm sure there are ladies who are afraid to wear this color because they say it's not wearable and suit only a few. It's time to make a stand and make your eotd using Virginia Olsen eye shadows in Forest, Spring and Midnight Glam.
Green looks lovely on you! And great giveaway, ha! Good luck to everyone joining! :)
