Product Review: Glupa Whitening Lotion

   Hi dearies! Here's my honest to goodness review of Glupa Whitening Lotion. I've emptied the bottle of this lotion only last week because I don't use it everyday. It took me around two months because I use the lotion every other day or when I feel like using it. There are days that I prefer not to use this 'instant white/concealing' lotion because I perspire a lot if the weather is scorching hot. 

     I guess that's the only downside of this product if you're like me who sweat a lot. BUT the product works like magic if you really want to achieve that 'instant white skin' in minutes :) With continued use the product does not only gives that 'instant white effect' because it does lighten and whiten dark marks. It also contains anti-aging ingredients that I'm sure those who have tight budget will surely like this product as it functions as 2-in-1 (whitening and anti-aging) lotion in a bottle.      Hi dearies! My apologies for being MIA (missing in action) :( Internet connection is acting up for the fast few days hence I wasn't able to update you with product features and reviews plus another giveaway that I've promised last week. Anyhoo, I received a new batch of organic skin care products from Skin Beautanicals by Jianne Skin Essentials. When the products came in our doorsteps, I was surprised to see a new variant of soap that I'll be road testing in the coming weeks. This is the snail filtrate repairing soap. Snail slime or mucus had been the talk of the town last year and early this year for its healing properties. If my memory serves me right, I've seen tv and magazine features about skin care products containing this 'miracle' ingredient from the snail. According to what I've heard, the slime/mucus/filtrate has healing and repairing properties for problematic skin. 

     The brands that I saw carrying a snail line are mostly Korean brands. I think they're the ones who first introduced the snail mucus or slime as an anti-aging and repairing agent in the world of skin care. That's why I was intrigued when I saw Skin Beautanicals Snail Filtrate Soap, the first organic soap with snail filtrate that I'll be trying to date.      I've tried so many whitening/lightening/brightening lotions in the past that gave different results. Some made drastic changes while some are so-so. Some are cheaper than the leading brand while others are competing in the same price range. This is my first review of one of the most expensive whitening lotion that I've tried to date. I'm a cheapskate so the price of the product is one of the things I always consider when buying.

     Kb Whitening brand from Yumeimise is one of the most popular brand of skin care products in the market today. This skin lightening product line is available in leading department stores and drugstores nationwide. I honestly like the product despite the steep price. Product Review: Mischka Derma Secret Advance Whitening Body Lotion

      Let's continue the series of product reviews from Mischka Derma Secret and last but not the least is their advance whitening body lotion. If you're a long time reader of this blog I'm sure you know that I'm a sucker for whitening lotions! I'm already fair to begin with but I have uneven skin tone that's why I still need this kind of lotion. I've tried so many brands in the market today and only a few got a perfect score because of important factors that I consider for it to be a HG material. I believe that whitening lotions should not only whiten the skin but protect it from the harmful rays of the sun so a decent amount of sunscreen should be present from its ingredients. Anti-aging factor? Why not?! Whitening plus anti-aging lotions would be one of the best combination not only for lotions but for soaps and other skin care products. If you're like me who loves to try different kinds of whitening lotions I'm sure you already know powerful whitening ingredients that will help you achieve whiter and glowing skin. The most popular ingredients are glutathione, arbutin, kojic, licorice and placenta. I'm pretty sure that most of the coveted whitening products today contains two or more of the ingredients that I've mentioned above. So if you really want to whiten and lighten your skin, make sure you do your research because not all the whitening ingredients will give you positive results.

      Anyhoo, I've been using this lotion on and off. If you ask me why, because it doesn't have spf and I'm too lazy to take evening bath this past two months because of the cold weather at night. This lotion is best applied before going to bed since it's not suitable for day time use. To tell you honestly, I have a love-hate relationship with this product. I love it because it's easily absorbed by the skin, the scent is okay and it helps me maintain my skin tone even if I'm exposed to harmful sun rays during day time but I hate it because it doesn't have spf and the price tag seems too high for budget conscious individual like me.
