     And it's thirty days to go before Christmas, I'm still narrowing down the list of things that men, including my brothers, brother-in-laws, father, and my husband would love to receive this Christmas. 3. Sling Bag

     This fashion item is becoming a favorite and a must-have for men these days. If my memory serves me right, some men prefer not to bring a small bag when strolling at the mall or grocery shopping with the family. They just want to keep their wallet inside their pocket and hold their mobile phones. But today, I've seen men sporting sling bags in different sizes and shapes. Hubby received a sling bag last year that's been used and abused already.

4. Shoes

     This gift item can be a bit expensive from the rest on the list but once received, a big smile on their faces will be seen. Who doesn't want to have a new pair of kicks this Christmas, right? 5. Wallet

     This prolly one of the basics but giving him a wallet will instill a habit of saving money. One of my bothers don't own a decent wallet before and he is complaining that there were times he forgot where he put his bills. I discovered that he only owns a small coin purse and don't mind having a wallet. He insisted that as long there's a coin purse, there's a place for paper bills. Fast forward today, he realized that a foldable wallet is important. It's not only for money, some of his important identification cards can be placed inside too. He was able to save money too because once he placed a paper bill inside, he's thinking twice whether to spend it or not especially if the paper bills are new.

ELLE Celebrates 70 Years of Style

     One of the biggest international brands, ELLE, marks its 70th year, and here in the Philippines, the recent celebration was a chic fashion hurrah that showcased the iconic styles over the last seven decades along with the most in vogue styles of today.

     The star-studded event was held at Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall. Showbiz power couples were present with their families and friends to witness this grand celebration. Everyone's so excited to see the little ones strut the runway. The event also showcased the latest collection of ELLE Philippines including the travel accessories, kids' wear this holiday season, and other timeless pieces that only ELLE can offer.      Dressing for the holiday season can be tricky here in our country. We have an erratic weather and sometimes it's unpredictable. For a country like ours, the type of clothes we wear should be in tune with the season.       I was invited to the launch of UNIQLO's special collection weeks ago at The Mega Fashion Hall. This is the last collection of the year and it is a collaboration with French designer LEMAIRE.      It's fall season once again. Can you feel the mixed weather? It's unpredictable because there are warm days and cold days. Forever 21, one of the most recognized and largest independent fashion retailers in the world debuts their Fall 2015 collection globally and celebrates the uniqueness is us all through the tagline, ‘It’s All About You, Forever You.’ 

     Photographed by Dan Jackson and styled by George Cortina, the new imagery is a continuation of the brand’s new, elevated point of view and direction with a large focus on menswear. “For the Forever 21 Forever You Fall campaign we paired industry veterans with exciting new faces to reflect the elevated aesthetic of the collection, while keeping the core brand DNA of on-trend attainable fashion that we have become known for.” Says Linda Chang, Vice President of Merchandising.      The creative spirit of fashion and how individuality connects us all are the themes at the heart of the Fall 2015 Collection. This motif is mirrored through the models featured in the campaign, from Alana Zimmer, who is involved with numerous charitable organizations and volunteers in her spare time, her boyfriend Nick Rea, the self proclaimed outlier and adventure junky, Baylee and Kelsey Soles, the telepathic identical twins from South Carolina, toYuri Pleskun, the Russian export with a punky personality. Though all have a different background and story, each are connected through one quality – they are all Forever unique. 

     Defined by unlimited style that is designed to amplify your fall street cred, the Forever You Collection focuses on key trends including luxe and layered, oversized, boho chic, and textured essentials, personified by three key personalities: The Romantic, The Adventurer, and The Free Spirit.
