     Fashionistas and Music lovers united in an afternoon of music and fashion last April 14, 2016 at the TriNoma Activity Center for the launch of renowned fashion and lifestyle brand and partnership with the world's leading music publication- Oxygen x Billboard!

     If you got passion for music and fashion then you will definitely get hooked with Oxygen’s latest collection! This collaboration is not the usual partnership of local brand with international groups. Methinks this kind of collaboration will only be made possible by brands that are already an institution.      These fashion pieces were on display during the event. There was a pop-up store that showcased full range of Oxygen collab with Billboard on the spot. We also witnessed musical performances that made us vibe to the sounds of bands and DJ :)

     And to give us a glimpse of the collection, Sam Concepcion performed while the models strut in the catwalk for that much awaited fashion show. Those models showed us the how to style Oxygen x Billboard collection for everyday wear.

     Oxygen x Billboard Collection is now available in all Oxygen branches. I've visited the newly renovated Oxygen SM Fairview branch last week and saw my favorite pieces from the collection. I'm digging those graphic tees that I can wear on casual days and if I feel lazy dressing up.

     Hello dearies! I'm sure that you've seen fashion bloggers flooded their Facebook timelines with updates of Penshoppe's Spring/Summer 2016 collection launch last week. I'm so lucky to get the first dibs on the collection together with invited media guests and the winners of the contests at the Palace Pool Club BGC.

     Aside from the launch of the collection, they also introduced the latest ambassador- modeling world’s new IT boy Lucky Blue Smith. Penshoppe just got lucky with Lucky!      Summer is two months away. I can feel the warmth of the sun early in the morning and it's more humid in the afternoon. Since summer is near, investing in comfortable clothes that can be used every day is a must now. I'm planning to buy a new set of clothes perfect for our humid weather. My default store would always be UNIQLO as they are offering a lot of LifeWear clothing that is fashionable and functional.

BAYO Style Harvest 2015: A Holiday Heritage Collection Launch

     The most wonderful time of the year started early as BAYO recently launched their 2015 holiday collection entitled- BAYO Style Harvest 2015. The event was held at BAYO Glorietta 2 branch last November 17 which showcased the parol (a star-shaped lantern from the Philippines) inspired designs for the holiday collection. 

     I presume that some of you already know BAYO and have worn a piece or two from this homegrown brand. BAYO is proudly Filipino. When I was in high school I thought BAYO is an international brand because their clothes have high quality materials and the designs are unique, better from what I see from other brands. Fast forward today, BAYO still produces designs that matches the lifestyle of every Filipina. See the designs from the 2015 holiday collection and highlights of the event below.

      Style Harvest: A Holiday Heritage showcases the Filipino Christmas tradition by incorporating the designs with the beautiful colors and festive aesthetic of the parol, considered the symbol of the Filipino Christmas spirit. To make the launch more festive, the Verlanie Foundation Philippines Children's Choir sang Christmas carols that filled the air with Christmas spirit.

    During the launch, BAYO also introduced their newest ambassador- Ms. Iza Calzado who confessed to be one of the Filipinas who liked the brand so much when she was still young. She shared her stories about BAYO and to be one of the brand's endorser is a dream come true. I was amazed that Iza Calzado remained down-to-earth despite all her achievements in movie and film industry. She answered all the questions with confidence that day and gave us an idea of what designs from the BAYO collection exudes her personality.

     As for the parol-inspired designs, I like what Iza was wearing during the event. Look at the photo above. Her dress looks so elegant with the parol design. I'm diggin' this dress because the style is perfect to wear in family reunions and Christmas parties. Here's a glimpse of the collection. You will see blouses, skirts, and dresses with colorful parol prints either on the top, at the bottom or center of the clothes.

     The designs are classy and feminine but you can wear it either casual, semi-formal, or business attire under a blazer. I'm not a fashion guru but seeing the styles from this collection makes me wanna make my own Christmas party outfit guide. A little mix and matching will do and for sure you'll the the star of your Christmas parties.

   Bayo had partnered with the artisans of San Fernando, Pampanga to provide beautifully crafted parols in all of its stores nationwide. These colorful Christmas lanterns would adorn the windows of each Bayo store throughout the season.

     Having a child can be incredibly daunting, especially for first time parents. There are a plethora of serious things that can go wrong regarding a baby’s health and wellbeing, not to mention smaller dramas like tantrums, mealtime stress and children’s birthday parties and play dates. The good times, however, completely outweigh the bad, and children can prove to be an incredible source of inspiration, love and humour. Some of our favourite celebrities share some beautiful relationships with their children on their Instagram pages, where they do things normal families do as well as some things that belong to the realm of the rich and fabulous.      Sarah Michelle Gellar is perhaps most famous for playing Buffy in the hit supernatural series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and for her turn as Kathryn Merteuil in Cruel Intentions. She has a famously strong relationship with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr to whom she has been with for 15 years and has two children with. She recently launched an e-commerce start up called Foodstirs that provides baking kits and equipment for kids. To help her to publicise the brand, she enlisted the help of her daughter Charlotte, who she describes as her most ‘honest’ customer. This adorable picture taken by Sarah for her Instagram page shows her daughter looking to the camera whilst up to her elbows in baking mixture. You can always rely on children to tell you exactly what is on their minds, which is why they are so adorable and, oftentimes, hilarious.

David Beckham and all his kids

     One of the world’s most famous footballers, in recent years David Beckham has also branched out to other areas of public life. This has included philanthropy, becoming a UN representative for UNICEF as well as modelling for labels like Armani, Calvin Klein and H&M. With his wife Victoria Beckham, David has four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, who he is more than willing to share on Instagram. He captures beautiful moments with all his children, showing that he might be one of the world’s biggest stars but his family is the most important thing to him. We love all the shots of him kissing and cuddling Romeo and Brooklyn and we also love that he isn’t afraid to make himself look a little silly, for example when he wore a party hat for Harper’s birthday party. Fathers are encouraged to be much more hands on with parenting these days, and David Beckham is the ultimate inspiration. He doesn’t take himself seriously and will do anything for his children.

Kim Kardashian and North West

     With a hit reality TV show, businesses, product endorsement deals and big designer friends, Kim Kardashian has cemented herself as one of the most famous women in the world. She is known for her polished, high profile looks, with her favourite labels including Balmain, Givenchy and Valentino Shop. However, we love her down time snaps that she shares with us on Instagram. These mostly feature her cute daughter North West. With a cheeky smile and a wardrobe to die for, Kim claims that she is the family’s ‘Troop Leader’. Kim shares her daughter’s fancy dress costumes, trips to the pumpkin patch and playdates with her cousins, showing that even one of the most famous families in the world has relatively normal downtime. She loves to be at the beck and call of her daughter and we think that North is on course to become one of the sassiest and fashionable toddlers in the world.

ELLE Celebrates 70 Years of Style

     One of the biggest international brands, ELLE, marks its 70th year, and here in the Philippines, the recent celebration was a chic fashion hurrah that showcased the iconic styles over the last seven decades along with the most in vogue styles of today.

     The star-studded event was held at Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall. Showbiz power couples were present with their families and friends to witness this grand celebration. Everyone's so excited to see the little ones strut the runway. The event also showcased the latest collection of ELLE Philippines including the travel accessories, kids' wear this holiday season, and other timeless pieces that only ELLE can offer.      The event was hosted by Nicole Andersson where the fashion fete featured an array of activities including the ELLE Exhibit, with prominent issues of the magazine together with the Kids and Juniors collections on display; and experiential areas where participants got to decorate their own shirts and shoes, take Instagram photos for printing as souvenirs, and learn more interesting trivia about the beloved brand.

     Celebrity stylist Alyanna Martinez also came out to give tips to parents and kids on appropriate and stylish dressing, particularly for the anticipated Fall/Winter season.
