Product Review: MC Skin Care Antioxidant Body Scrub

Monday, October 27, 2014

Hello there! It's nice to be back with another review and this time my first on antioxidant body scrub. I've received this product merely two months ago and have tried it recently because I'm still road testing skin care products for my body. I'm a coffee lover and when Ms. Mindy of MC All Natural and Handmade Skin Care asked me to review this body scrub, I said yes even though I'm still loaded with backlogs. Anyhoo, I'm intrigued when she said that she'll be sending it freshly made because the product's shelf life will last only for a few months.

If you're a lover of DIY body scrubs, I'm sure you've seen body scrubs made out of coffee and other natural ingredients. Based on MC All Natural and Handmade Skin Care's Facebook Page, All body scrubs are combined with Sugar, a natural humectant that helps keep the moisture locked in, Dead Sea Salt which contains minerals in a very high concentration and Unrefined Coconut Oil which is high in Lauric Acid, known to have anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-viral properties and a natural moisturizer to make your skin smooth, radiant and healthy.

Yay to coffee body scrubs and its amazing benefits on skin. Even though I haven't seen drastic changes, I can say this product is promising. Intrigued what this body scrub can do to your body? Click CONTINUE READING and smile!

Been using this product almost every other day the moment I opened the jar. The smell is inviting and invigorating to the senses. This body scrub made our bathroom smelled like freshly brewed coffee. It can also reduce cellulites according to the information below but wasn't able to test it though (boo me!). But for most of the natural home made remedy articles that I've read online, they really recommend coffee body scrub as an anti-cellulite skin care product.

What I like:
  • The price is affordable.
  • The packing comes with a spoon, no need to scoop out the product using bare hands.
  • It smells divine!
  • A little goes a long way. I've been using it for three weeks already.
  • The scrub is salt like in texture but I didn't worry about roughness while massaging it on my body.
  • I felt my body moisturized after using the body scrub.
  • My skin felt soft and smooth to touch after taking a bath.
  • There's a glow on the part where I used the scrub.
  • With expiry date printed on the bottom of the jar.
  • No irritation, breakouts or whatsoever.
What I don't like:
  • Not easily accessible.
  • Needs to improve on the packaging.
  • Can be a little greasy after scrubbing and massaging the body scrub so it is best to use a soap that lathers well.
Will I repurchase? Yes, it's in the realm of possibility. This is a perfect gift this Christmas to skin care fanatic friends and relatives.

I give this a 4.5/5 rating. This is a promising product and not all body scrubs in the market today contains real caffeine goodness. It also contains natural ingredients that will make the skin smooth and healthy with regular use. For those who want to try this scrub, I advise you to use it immediately upon purchase because it expires after a few months.

All in all, I have a good experience with the product. I recommend this to those who want to try anti-aging and anti-cellulite body scrubs. Have you tried using coffee body scrubs? Share your thoughts on the comment section below dearies!
