     If there's one thing that I want to achieve other than flawless skin, it's the right hair color for my asian skin tone. Having colored hair can make ones personality stand out in the crowd so if you want to have a flattering hair color, it should complement your skin tone. I know that choosing the right hair color is not that easy because there's a wide range of colors to choose from. 

     It's also hard to decide because not all color treatment products will show beautiful and radiant on each hair strand. I know there's a lot of considerations that we make before we push through it and for me that includes the shade, the salon, the stylist, the price and the most important is the brand of hair color that you'll use. Philip Lifestyle Guy Media and Bloggers Launch

     Two weeks ago I was invited to the media and bloggers' launch of the new lifestyle show  on TV5 that's now airing every Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon to be exact. This new show called Philip Lifestyle Guy is a show that will tackle everything that you can think of when the word lifestyle pops up in your mind. When Ms. Joy Felizardo invited me to the event, I didn't think twice and said yes to the invite because I've know Mr. Philip Abadicio during the Juenevie Bloggers' Launch where he's the PR person for the said event.  For those who don't know who Mr. Philip Abadicio yet, here's a little info:  

For years, Philip Abadicio has always been associated with the success of the products and brands he launched for his clients. As a PR practitioner, he established RPA and Communicate where he mastered the ropes of the lifestyle industry. Thus, it gave him the chance to hobnob with some of the country’s known celebrities in society, showbiz, business, politics and media. It also brought out the friendliest and most intuitive side of his personality as captured on-cam in his latest quest as lifestyle TV host on TV5’s News channel, Aksyon TV. He adds color to the viewing experience with a the lifestyle magazine and talk show on its second season called “It’s More Fun with Philip” every Sunday at 8:30 pm.

Product Review: COSMO Skin Kojic + Alpha Arbutin Soap

     I was delighted to see more than one variant of Cosmo Skin whitening soaps in the market today. More variants means more choices! Each variant is produced to meet specific skin care needs specially in the whitening department so for those who have a very sensitive skin, fret not because you can still use a lightening, whitening or brightening soap that will not aggravate your skin condition. It's very hard to choose a variant if you just consider whitening itself because there are other ingredients that are combined to the soap that will target specific skin care needs. 

     During the Cosmo Skin Event, I saw four variants of their whitening soap. I'm already familiar with the two (green and maroon box) because that was the first two variants that's sold locally at Watsons. When they introduced these two: Kojic + Alpha Arbutin and Collagen + Papaya, my eyes were glued on the first rather than the later because I'm a fan of kojic soaps and this variant also has Alpha Arbutin. To those who are new to Alpha Arbutin, it's one of the three powerful whitening ingredients in the world of soap today. It's widely used in soaps, face creams and lotions together with glutathione and kojic acid. So if the soap have these three, it's a surefire way that the product will deliver what it promises- lighter and even complexion. For those wondering while until now I'm using whitening soaps even if I'm fair enough to start with, then my answer would be maintenance and to even out my skin tone. Fair-skinned individuals like me would easily get burned in the sun with long hours of exposure. That's why I still need these soaps and the most important tandem to this are sunblocks! Physiogel Oncology Advocacy Event #ExtraordinaryWomen

     Every October, we celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It's a whole month celebration where breast cancer patients with their relatives join together to spread awareness so that we can prevent breast cancer in the early stages. It's also a celebration of beauty and fulfillment for ladies with breast cancer who had survived the pain and the obstacles that they've gone through. In line with the celebration, I was very fortunate to attend the Physiogel Oncology Advocacy Event where they made breast cancer patients as their brand ambassadors and introduced them to media and bloggers and shared their stories with us last October 18 at Makati Edsa Shangri la.
