Product Review: KB Glutathione + NAC (KB GlutaNAC) and Rosehips (Kyusoku Bihaku Glutathione)

Tuesday, May 26, 2020

I’ve been doing product reviews since time immemorial and beauty supplement review is one of my forte. I can’t believe that it's only this year that I decided to try KB L-glutathione plus NAC. This glutathione brand has been in the market for years already and from oral beauty supplements, they are now offering personal care products like lotion, body soap, towel, teeth whitening, and more!

I took this for a month together with their rosehips capsule. What I like is that taking glutathione does not only whiten skin as there’s so much more it can do to the body because it's an anti-oxidant.
What's also amazing with this brand is it comes with its own rosehips extract supplement that is rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, calcium, iron plus a good source of bioflavonoids, pectin, vitamin E, selenium, manganese and b complex. Sharing my thoughts on KB Glutathione + NAC (KB GlutaNAC) and Rosehips (Kyusoku Bihaku Glutathione) below.

Product Review: KB Glutathione + NAC (KB GlutaNAC) and Rosehips (Kyusoku Bihaku Glutathione)

Kyusoku Bihaku has all three free-form amino acid components l-cysteine, glycine, and glutamic acid with NAC and Cysteine as a glutathione precursor. Since this brand is formulated with the optimum dose of NAC that not only boosts the glutathione levels in the body but also makes up for the glutathione components lost during digestion.

To further complement this one-of-a-kind blend, KB has included a separate box of Vitamin C Rosehips Vitamin C (which I already reviewed HEREis a great help in amino acid absorption because it aids in its synthesis. KB works best with Pure Rosehips Vitamin C that contains 10-100 times more vitamin C than any other kind of food. Kyusoku Bihaku does not contain rice bran, cornstarch, yeast, soy, artificial color, flavoring or any other extender, unlike other oral glutathione products.

Both KB GlutaNAC and Rosehips have printed texts= Flower above KB initials, Kyusoku Bihaku below with Kanji characters.

What I like:
  • One of the affordable glutathione and vitamin C combos in the market today.
  • It has a safety authenticity seal and well-packaged upon opening.
  • I like the color of the capsule and it has a size that is easy to swallow.
  • There's a rotten egg smell when you open the blister pack.
  • This glutathione supplement contains N-Acetylcysteine and L-Cysteine, two of the best and potent boosters to speed up the whitening process of the skin.
  • No vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts, or whatsoever while taking the supplement even though it has NAC (N-Acetylcysteine) and L-Cysteine.
  • It gives a glowing skin even if I only have 4 hours of sleep.
  • There's a slight change in the color of my freckles but not that drastic.
  • After finishing 1 box, marks from unwanted scratch and mosquito bites have lightened a bit.
  • It made my skin tone even.
  • I'm already fair, to begin with, and it gives me a semi pale-pinkish white skin. I'm still checking if my foundation shade is still the same because I'm always at home but for the record, my legs are really whiter now. The extremities (upper and lower) are the first parts that whiten when you use glutathione supplements.
  • Batch, manufacturing, and expiry date printed on the package.
  • This brand is FDA (KB GlutaNAC #51169) (KB Rosehips (#63661) and Halal approved.

What I don't like:
  • There are individuals who are allergic to NAC (N-Acetylcysteine) and L-Cysteine

Will I repurchase? YES

Recommendation:
I give this a 4.75/5 rating. I can say that I'm really satisfied with the results after one month of taking KB Glutathione + NAC (KB GlutaNAC) and Rosehips (Kyosoku Bihaku Glutathione). It's FDA  and Halal approved too so no doubts while taking the supplement. It's packed with essential glutathione boosters that are known to speed up the absorption of glutathione in the body.

NAC and L-Cysteine are potent boosters of glutathione, these are the boosters that one should look for when taking glutathione BUT there are individuals who are allergic to it so I'm giving you a pre-caution on that part. If you have taken another brand of glutathione before that contains one of those mentioned above, I can say you're safe to take this. If your previous brand of glutathione gave you a sore throat and other unknown allergies, it only means you're allergic to NAC or L-Cysteine.

Have you tried taking KB GlutaNAC + Rosehips as a daily supplement? Hope you can share your experience below :)

  1. Hi, Ms. Kath. I've been following your blogs for a few years now. You're always my go to reviewer for whitening supplements.

I'm really glad you shared the results. My ideal skin is that perfect, luminescent, translucent pinkish white skin. I'm still really far off from achieving it. But that's my dream.

Currently, the Glutathione brands that seem to offer that glowing pinkish effect are Ishigaki Premium, KB Gluta NAC, and Nuwhite S-Acetyl Glutathione.

Based on your experience and knowledge of said brands, which of them would you say yields the best results?

I feel like if it was up to product uniqueness, it would be Nuwhite.

Because they have that patented thing about being the most effective and well absorbed Glutathione available right now. Though, I've yet to try them.

I truly hope to find the best brand for me. They all seem promising. But I'm sure one is bound to transcend the others. Thank you and God bless!

    1. Hi,

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for being an avid reader. You are right that those are the brands giving pinkish white skin if you take them religiously.

The best bet to go for is KB Gluta NAC because of the NAC content. Whenever I take a glutathione capsule with NAC content, I feel like I'm turning dark but that's the pinkish tinge on the skin. If you are indoors, you will see it as dark but if you are outdoors, it's a glowing pinkish skin.

Good luck and God bless too!

  2. Hello Ms. Kath! I'm an avid reader of your blog, and if I may say, you're my go-to for beauty product reviews.
Right now, I'm seriously considering taking gluta tablets not because I wanted to have lighter skin, but because of its other "pampaganda" effects.
May I just ask, have you found the gluta tablet that really stood out from all of the brands that you've already tried? I know that it really varies from person to person, but I'm hoping to start from there. :)
