Product Review: Natura Organics Himalayan Mud 21-in-1 Soap

Monday, July 21, 2014

If my memory serves me right, three years ago I had a hatred feeling against a certain black soap. It's not the black bleaching bar that I've tried from one of the famous brand of organic skin care products in our country today. Yes, it's a face and body soap that left a terrible effect on my face. The thing that irks me most is that it's organic. I have high expectations on that soap because before I get hold of it, I've seen positive reviews on their website and some beauty blogs. I really never expected that the "good" would turn so bad as in so so bad in my case.

So to end a long story short, after that experience I veered away from that brand. If you're adventurous with soaps I'm sure you can guess what kind of soap I'm saying here. I will not mention the brand, past is past and I've buried that sad experience. But today, I want to share a good news  :) I never thought that my fear of using a black-colored soap with ingredients that I'm not familiar with will turn into a delight. I think I want to rejoice because I've tried a black soap that didn't burn my face (this was the terrible effect that I have mentioned above) and made my skin healthy looking. Excited to find out why I'm raving a black soap today? Click CONTINUE READING to see my thoughts on Natura Organics Himalayan Mud 21-in-1 Soap :)

What I like:
  • It's organic.
  • The packaging is simple and loaded with information.
  • Sealed in a plastic wrapper to guarantee freshness.
  • The scent- there's a hint of sweetness that's not overpowering.
  • The soap is bigger in size compared to other organic soaps that I've tried.
  • Lathers well.
  • It's loaded with skin beautifying and detoxifying ingredients.
  • Made my skin soft and smooth.
  • It lessened the oiliness on my t-zone.
  • It doesn't dry my skin.
  • Exfoliates very well.
  • Doesn't melt fast.
  • I feel a stinging sensation and tightening of my pores every time I use the soap.
  • There's a lightening on my blemishes, particularly on dried zits.
  • My skin looks luminous when I look in the mirror.
  • No irritation, breakouts or whatsoever.
What I don't like:
  • A bit pricey for cheapskates like me and for those who have a tight budget.
  • Not easily accessible.
  • No manufacturing and expiration date printed on the box.
Will I repurchase? Yes!

I give this soap a 4.75/5 rating. Use the soap as instructed. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Always use sunblock with spf 30 or higher to protect your skin from the sun. Organic soap does not contain any soap hardener and our hot humid weather will make the soap melt faster. But this one doesn't melt fast that's why I really like it! I highly recommend this soap, my skin loves it!

Good Times!~

Disclaimer: The product was sent to me by Natura Organics for review. The views expressed here my honest opinion about the product.

  1. Firstly I am quite intrigued with the color. I've encountered a black soap before provided by my dermatologist and it was also made with natural products from the mountains. If this one from the Himalayan can smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, definitely my mom would be a customer! :)

  2. Oh that is what I need. I never expected my skin to get all old like when I hit my 30' was a wake up call when I looked in one of those magnified mirrors...eeeks!!!

  3. Funny that, yesterday I tried the face mask and the moisturiser. It's amazing.

  4. I am currently using a dead sea mud soap now and I love it. I have to check this one out when mine finishes.

  5. I have not used any beauty bar soaps on my face. I tend to go for the pumped soaps. I'm glad you found a better experience with this one. I'd be really upset if something burned my skin, especially my face after I used it.

  6. I've never heard of a black soap before! Certainly sounds very interesting.

  7. I'm so glad you finally found one that works to your liking. Your really high rating for it speaks volumes.

  8. That is really good information on that soap.. I never heard of it, but that means nothing.. lol

    1. Damn it,Ninja, you swiped my comment!!!

  9. I def want to try this one out, I need something for my acne that pops up now and then.

  10. This sounds like a very interesting product. I recently watched something about beauty products in other countries all containing whitening agents. Is this correct? Although I am African American and come with a natural tan I am always trying to get more bronze so I am staying away from anything that has a whitener in it.

  11. I find this Himalayan Mud 21-In-1 Soap to be very interesting. I love natural products, and I hate animal testing. It also does so much more for the skin than regular soap.

  12. I have found some black soap in the past that I have liked, but I have never tried this brand. I like that this one doesn't have a strong scent and is organic.. I will have to check it out!

  13. I've never used this before, looks worth a try!

  14. I would totally try this, I believe the benefits for your skin are completely worth it

  15. I think it looks really cool. I will have to look for some.

  16. 21 in 1??? What are the other 20 uses? I've never heard of black soap - it sounds awesome!

  17. I've never heard of Himalayan mud. But it looks like African black soap, which works great!

  18. I really need some good exfoliation for my face. My skin is so dry and I need something to get the flakes off. This looks really good to and I may try it. Thanks

  19. I recently won a giveaway and it was a dead sea soap bar. I have yet to try it but your review makes me want to open the package asap

  20. This sounds like it may be a great product for me. I definitely need help with my skin! I never had problems as a teenager but as I age I have more breakouts now. I have some dry skin and some oily places too!. I would love something that exfoliates well and doesn't cause me to break out worse. I will definitely have to try this if I can find it here!

  21. I can't imagine if it will really benefit as a soap but if there is a mask, peel off or mud pack version of this I will want it then.

  22. I love trying different soaps! I don't have bad skin where it reacts to different things so I am luck enough to be able to try things out and not worry about rashes and such. I would love to try this soap out! I think I would love it! Thank you for sharing!

  23. I need something like this a natural exfoliant, I haven't seen Himalaya mud in the USA such a shame

  24. I like that you can feel it working. I also like that it doesn't melt fast.

  25. I'm going to have to try this! Sounds interesting.

  26. I love that it is GMO free. Sounds like a great product.

  27. Very interesting product. I like organic skincare products that can do a lot of neat things for the skin. :)

  28. I have never heard of this brand of soap before. I love the fact that it does not contains all those bad ingredients. Thanks for sharing such a well thought out review. I loved it.

  29. Never heard of this kind of soap before, is there somewhere online that ships to the states? Looks interesting, I love trying new soaps

  30. Wow. for a soap worth 300, it must be quite a soap! :) But it is kind of interesting and I do want to try it out since it didn't dry your skin.

  31. I’ve wanted to try this soap for a while already. Hmmm
