L'Oreal Color Riche #SwatchandShoot Event

     Last month, I was invited to L'Oreal's Swatch and Shoot event held at Lartizan, Serendra BGC. I'm nervous and excited to attend this kind of beauty event because most of the invited guests are expert beauty gurus (bloggers/vloggers) who are really good in eye shadow makeup. If you're a long time reader of this blog prolly you know that I rarely put eye shadow on my lids because I'm not good in blending. 

     I only apply eye shadow when the need arise, in a very special occasion like weddings. How I apply it? I just follow the diagram at the back of the packaging if there's any. I only apply a single color and I'm good to go. After attending #LOrealSwatchandShoot event I think I really need to practice the art of eye shadow application because the eye shadow shades from L'Oreal Color Riche La Palette Nudes are very pretty and wearable!     The theme of the event was French-inspired, it's an afternoon tea kind of day to be exact. Lartizan is the perfect place to swatch and shoot because the products that was launched like the additional shades of L'Oreal Color Riche Lipsticks (blooming pinks) and the most awaited L'Oreal Color Riche La Palatte Nude Eyeshadows radiate class and sophistication.

     During the event, we did a lot of flat lays and swatching of L'Oreal products. No need to complain because it's what beauty bloggers/vloggers love to do! It's also an afternoon of fun and play- testing all the products from the line and after finding our favorite shades of lipstick/s and color/s from the eye shadow palette, we had a chance to shoot a short video.

     But before giving you a glimpse of my very first video to date from L'Oreal Swatch and Shoot event, let me give you a short description of the L'Oreal products that was launched and re-launched that day.

Yup, I find these babies affordable because the products above are less than one thousand pesos. There are two products that were the star of the event: Color Riche Velvet Pinks and La Palette Nude that I'll be reviewing on my next post. I'm done with my own swatches and surprisingly, the lipsticks and eye shadow palettes are promising considering their respective price.

     Sharing with you my selfie-ready face wearing L'Oreal Color Riche Velvet Pink Lipstick in Nymphea, L'Oreal Color Riche La Palette Nude in Rose for my eye shadow, and L'Oreal Super Liner Superstar Eyeliner. Yay, to the most nerve-cracking part (it's my first-ever video) filmed during the event itself. It's less than a minute so I hope you'll watch it. I'm so nervous that time, I stutter and you can see that I'm not that confident talking in front of the camera. Pardon my English if I don't have that accent because to tell you honestly I'm not used to this but special thanks to Martha of The Beauty Junkee blog for encouraging me to do this.      A couple of days after Mother's day I received these products from NYX Philippines. I was so surprised because I'm not expecting it that day. So basically, the products I received are the latest lines and best-sellers of NYX Cosmetics. If you're a long time reader of this blog some four years ago, I've already tried one of NYX best-selling lipstick line in the name of NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. It's my first NYX lipstick which I ordered from an online seller because this brand is not yet sold in physical stores that time.

     I fell in love with NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa after my first swipe and hoarded other colors too. If you'll ask me why, well their products are affordable and pigmented. Since they already have physical stores, it's now easily accessible and no need to order abroad. To those who are not still familiar with NYX Cosmetics here's a short introduction of the brand:

     Hello dearies! Last May 12, I was invited to the grand launch of Cathy Doll Philippines at Crowne Plaza with other beauty bloggers/vloggers who were so excited to see the wide array of cosmetic line this Thai favorite brand has to offer. If my memory serves me right, I've seen a few Cathy Doll products sold online and I was eyeing on their bb creams because of good reviews.
