Feature: Le Petite Soufflé x Yardstick Coffee

     French-Japanese bistro Le Petit Soufflé teamed up with Yardstick Coffee to introduce three new pairings composed of their respective expertise: pastry and coffee. The tie-up coincided with the launch of Workshop, the bespoke patisserie within Le Petit Soufflé Megamall. 

     I was drooling while writing this post, makes me wanna teleport to SM Megamall to have a taste of the pairings. I'm going to try them all and will update you on my Instagram account. Here are the pairings that you must try on your next visit at Le Petit Soufflé.

The Workshop Bespoke Bakery

1. Basque Burnt Cheesecake- baked at a higher temperature to achieve its caramelized and nearly burnt top, it remains smooth and custardy inside. 

2. The 17-layer Chocolate Cake- has alternating Valrhona Araguani 72% Ganache and moist sponge cake, all dressed in 70% Guanaja chocolate glaze and glaçage. Who says a little math can’t be enjoyable? 

3. Pistachio Roulade- is made of 100% pureed pistachios cake and filling. Subtlety and purity at its finest.

Yardstick Coffee Crafted Drinks- bring elements to the table that elevates the character of each cake. 

Torched Butterscotch Iced Latte is best paired for the Basque Burnt Cheesecake. The mild sweetness of the drink makes it even better.

Dairy-free Mocha is best paired with the 17-layer Chocolate Cake, as is it goes hand in hand with the cake’s richness.

Iced Madagascar Vanilla Latte is best paired with Pistachio Roulade for a laid-back combination.
