Product Review: Scott's DHA Gummies

Wednesday, September 13, 2017

Kenzo's vitamin c brand is Scott's Vitamin C pastilles. He likes mixed berries flavor so much that's why we always buy the one in a plastic bottle containing 50 pastilles good for 25 days since he's taking 2 pastilles every day. While shopping for other grocery items, I already saw Scott's DHA Gummies on the shelves but did not bother looking closely because I thought it's the same vitamin c or maybe they repackaged it.

Weeks ago, I was so surprised when I received the exact Scott's Vitamins I saw on the grocery shelves. It's not a reformulated or repackaged vitamin c pastilles because it's the newest offering from Scott's- their DHA Gummies. More information about Scott's DHA Gummies and initial review below.

Product Review: Scott's DHA Gummies
Strawberry Flavor

What I like:
  • The product comes convenient sizes: in a sachet of 3's and 15's and an easy-to-open plastic bottle of 60's packaging.
  • Scott's DHA Gummies has two fruity flavors- orange and strawberry making it easy for kids to take every day. Kenzo's favorite flavor is orange.
  • This DHA vitamin is in gummy candy form that's why Kenzo likes it.
  • There's no funky or fishy odor/scent.
  • No stomach ache, nausea, dizziness or allergic reactions on the first week of taking these gummies daily.
  • There are a batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed at the top of the plastic bottle
  • Easily accessible.
  • The sea creature shapes are appealing to Kenzo.

What I don't like:
  • Can be addicting, I'm afraid he'll eat all the gummies in one sitting.
  • Still not sure of the synthetic flavoring effect. See ingredients listing.

Will I purchase? Yes, my son needs DHA to support his brain development.

I give a 4.75/5 rating. It's another genius way of taking DHA. My son enjoys taking these gummies every day, fuss free indeed. No spilling and no begging scene like "please take your vitamins, blah, blah, blah." The sea creature shapes make it more fun to take this food supplement every day. I hope in the long run, I'll see the maximum effects of DHA supplement in my son's brain development particularly in school. Sharp memory is from nature and nurture so, at this moment, I'll boost that with Scott's DHA Gummies.

What are your thoughts on Scott's DHA Gummies?
