Makeup Tools

Hi lovelies! The heat is on, can you feel it? It's really hot outside and all I wanna do is just chill and drink plenty of water. I'm not ready for summer. My body clock is still abnormal. I'm wide awake at night and sleepy head in the morning. Since it's summer already, I want to lessen the makeup that I use. I'm the type of person who sweats a lot. It runs in the family, I think it's in our genes. One move and I feel like taking a shower. So I guess it's time to learn the no makeup look. But how will I do that? I will show you my makeup tools that I use whenever I go outside the house and do some errands. I normally go outside to buy some groceries, window shopping and   go on a date with hubby.
L-R: Unbranded Retractable Kabuki Brush, Marionnaud N 38 Slanted Eyeliner and Eyebrows Double Side Brush and Fanny Serrano Eyelash Curler
These are the makeup tools that I basically use. Kabuki brush for my powder foundation, eyeliner brush for my gel liner and eyelash curler for my lashes. If I'm in the mood, I apply my favorite N.Y.X. SMLC in Addis Ababa  and I'm ready to go. So what should I do to lessen my makeup since our hot humid weather will just melt it? I still want to look polished even if I lessen my makeup. I also want to achieve a healthy glowing skin.

Any suggestions on what makeup to avoid or lessen this summer? Thanks for sharing!

Good Times!~

  1. The heat is really ON! Parang it's hotter this year than last year, what's happening?!

Anyway, I summer-friendly makeup all year.

My suggestion is: wear a tinted moisturizer with SPF. My current is Mary Kay. Then groom your brows really well. It's hard to look polished when your brows are not groomed. Wear waterproof eyeliner and lip color, something that's basically everything-proof.

  6. @Bechay- madali lang sis kaya lang ingat din kasi minsan naiipit ko yung eyelids ko pag di proper yung paglagay ko ng curler sa lashes.

  7. Tons of SPF! I rarely use any makeup if it's really too hot. I have uber sensitive and dry skin so as much as possible, i stay away from heavy makeup lalo na it's summer, mainit and maalikabok baka it might cause breakouts pa. =/ i skip the foundation, i just use a creamy concealer to cover any spots and eyebags of course, lipstick or lip gloss (i recommend revlon lip butter) and lip balm because your lips need moisture too. a hint of blush din don't forget para there's a summer flush. =) just pay more attention to skin care kapag summer, scrub at least once a week, moisturize and spf talaga para natural beauty lang - no need for heavy makeup. =)

  8. @Chay- thanks sa recos, yun pala yung hinahanap ko last week na di ko matandaan the word "scrub" naghahanap ako ng scrub that will work wonders on my skin to help exfoliate dead skin. Although I love pure derm dual-well beaing, parang gusto ko mg try ng parang salt scrub pero para sa face.
