Product Review: Revlon Bold Lacquer Waterproof Length and Volume Mascara

     Because I have thin and sparse lashes, I'm always on the look  for an affordable and stay-true-to-its-promise mascara. I've tried a couple of mascaras before and only a few exceeded my expectations. It's hard to find a perfect mascara because sometimes the name can be misleading.

    Lengthening, volumizing, false lashes effect, and so on and so forth sound nice right? But I'm not that 100% sure if those I mentioned above will really be seen in my almost none existent lashes. Revlon Philippines sent me one of their mascara and it was released last September this year. Revlon Bold Lacquer by Grow Luscious Length and Volume mascara looks promising, who doesn't want luscious lashes right? Product Review: SOPHIA Eyelash Enhancer by Virginia Olsen

     SOPHIA Eyelash Enhancer by Virginia Olsen is one of the best gifts that I've received this year. We all want to have luscious, thicker and fuller lashes, right? I'm one of those girls who weren't blessed to have a semi-doll like or doll like lashes. Having thin, sparse and short lashes makes my eyes look expressionless. As always, my last resort to add oomph and drama to my lashes would be mascaras. I never use falsies on a daily basis and haven't experienced eyelash extensions just to make my lashes look primped. For me, both are time consuming and having lash extensions requires time and effort to go to salons and a very expensive to maintenance. So when this baby arrived on our doorsteps last May, it's like a dream come true! 

     I'm sure you've read beauty bloggers thoughts and heard you tube gurus shared their insights about SOPHIA Eyelash Enhancer. I've also seen three reviews from BDJ Box Beauty Ministry and all of the ladies who used the product saw significant results after two months of using it religiously at night. I started using the product last May 18 and ended August 01, 2013. I apply it religiously every night, consuming one bottle for an approximate of 2 months and a half. So before I share my review, here are important information about the product.

Makeup Tools

     Hi lovelies! The heat is on, can you feel it? It's really hot outside and all I wanna do is just chill and drink plenty of water. I'm not ready for summer. My body clock is still abnormal. I'm wide awake at night and sleepy head in the morning. Since it's summer already, I want to lessen the makeup that I use. I'm the type of person who sweats a lot. It runs in the family, I think it's in our genes. One move and I feel like taking a shower. So I guess it's time to learn the no makeup look. But how will I do that? I will show you my makeup tools that I use whenever I go outside the house and do some errands. I normally go outside to buy some groceries, window shopping and   go on a date with hubby.

     These are the makeup tools that I basically use. Kabuki brush for my powder foundation, eyeliner brush for my gel liner and eyelash curler for my lashes. If I'm in the mood, I apply my favorite N.Y.X. SMLC in Addis Ababa  and I'm ready to go. So what should I do to lessen my makeup since our hot humid weather will just melt it? I still want to look polished even if I lessen my makeup. I also want to achieve a healthy glowing skin.
