Coca-Cola will always be the number 1 refreshing drink for Filipinos and it's nice to know that the company gives back not only to their consumers but also to mother earth. They have a system that maintains balance especially in the amount of water used in producing our favorite drink.

The Coca-Cola Company and its global bottling partners (the Coca-Cola system) today announced they have met their goal to replenish, or in other words balance, the equivalent amount of water used in their global sales volume back to nature and communities. Based on this achievement, Coca-Cola is the first Fortune 500 Company to publicly claim achieving such an aggressive water replenishment target1. More information on Coca-Cola's system below :)

Yakap: Embracing Our Differences

Tuesday, September 13, 2016

Everyone deserves to be treated right- normal or not. When I was young, I secretly laugh if I see a person with abnormality. I still don't know that time why they are like that. But as I grow up, I learned that some individuals with disabilities need love, care, and support not only from their families and relatives but also from the people around them. I've learned to appreciate and understand them with the help of my teachers in Psychology back when I was in college.

Ten years ago, Dolores Cheng formed The Center for Possibilities Foundation (CFP). “It was my own coming to terms with the condition of my son,” she shares. Andreas, now 22, was diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay when he was 3 years old. “There were no support groups for his particular type of disability, I didn’t know where to go, who to see, where to find what I needed to know. I wanted to understand what it meant to raise a child with special needs. So I thought that maybe if I formed a group of my own, I would be able to ring a call to other people who might be in the same boat and need some help,” Dolores continues.
