Blogger's United 5 Picks + Random Haul

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

Happy Independence Day dearies! Let me share my Blogger's United 5 picks that's totally awesome! I got only 4 items from different fashion blogger's rack selling their pre-loved clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and a whole lot more. I went there all by myself to support my blogger friends who organized the event. I'm sure all of you know that Blogger's United 5 is not just a place to buy stuff but this event also became the meeting place for some "meet and greet" sesh for bloggers and their readers. It's my first time to attend the event and heard that BU5 was the most coveted installment and will say my approval to this even if I haven't seen the crowd during BU1-B4. I arrived at the SMX Convention Center with long qeue at the entrance and surprised by the number of fashion aficionados arriving at the venue. Truly this installment of Blogger's United was a huge success! Congratulations to Ana Gonzales of The Fashionista Commuter, Aisa Ipac of Drowning Equilibrium and Honey Andrade of Somnia et VitaI will muse my Blogger's United 5 experience on a different post because my camera is acting up again, I'm so worried that my photos will be deleted just by connecting the usb to the laptop like what happened to my other photos :( Anyhoo, I also bought a new setting powder, a hair care essence and my favorite Snoe Black Bleaching beauty bar that's now upgraded to Special Black Bleaching beauty bar. Wait for my review dears, I'm already using these products and I'm very very happy with the results!!!

Bloggers United 5 Random Picks: Dress from Krissy, Clutch from Ava, Sm Accessories Necklace from Kookie and Contact Lens case from Marj

PARIS FLOATING CATWALK VERSUS TRADITIONAL CATWALKS: The Grand Success of J Spring Fashion Show on the Seine

Sunday, June 09, 2013

Refusing to conform to the norm, entrepreneur and model Jessica Minh Anh redefined Paris fashion show standards last Thursday (30 May 2013) with a 90 metre floating catwalk on the River Seine. The highly anticipated J Spring Fashion Show created an illusion of models walking on water by having guests seated facing the multi-facetted glass windows of Le Jean Bruel and watch the presentation in front of them while the boat was cruising. As a result, architectural wonders such as Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre and the 37 famous bridges became the natural moving backdrop for the phenomenal catwalk.

Similar to Jessica’s previous international success on England’s iconic London’s Tower Bridge and the world’s tallest PETRONAS Twin Towers’ Skybridge, the show presented an exquisite combination of Haute Couture and Prêt-à-Porter collections from 4 continents.

Product Review: ENVO CALAMANSI + LEMONGRASS Radiant Eclipse Body Scrub

Saturday, June 08, 2013

Hello dearies, let's continue our mini discussion here about ENVO. If you're a new reader of this blog, click here to know more about ENVO Bath and Body products. I presume you all know that my favorite scrubs are A Bonne Spa White C Salt and Asian Secrets Lulur Body Scrub and been using both alternately for more than 2 years now. I never expected that I will come across with an organic body scrub that will do the job in the exfoliation department. At first I'm very hesitant that it can remove dead skin cells because when I touched the "scrubbers"- apricot kernels, I said to myself that it's very fine and won't be able to exfoliate dirt from my skin. Since my skin is already used to harsh scrubbing (I know it's not good) because I really want to get rid of dirt and to have that uber squeaky clean feeling, small, tiny or fine particles will just slide off my skin. It's like scrubbing with no scrubs at all feeling. (hope you get what I mean) But lo and behold, this product is amazing! Now I need to believe in the saying "don't judge the book by it's cover" particularly with this product. haha!
Join the fight against dark and damaged skin, with the perfect blend of Calamansi and Lemongrass; you can see nature take effect in no time. Its main purpose is Whitening giving its users that fair light skin they have always wanted. Its main benefits consist of skin lightening, tonic, aromatic, minimizes oil secretion, revitalize and strengthens skin. This body scrub is lotion based so you get lotion plus scrub in one. It has a generous amount of apricot kernels which are used to exfoliate the skin instead of micro beads.
ENVO CALAMANSI + LEMONGRASS Radiant Eclipse Body Scrub- love the fancy design of their product label :)
