     Aside from my face, the next sensitive part of my body are my pits! Yes, my underarms are sensitive because it's very prone to chicken skin after waxing, darkening because of hormonal change before my monthly period and from trying different brands of deodorant and antiperspirant out of curiosity. 

     After giving birth, my underarms got so dark because of pregnancy hormones and I know it's normal. My mom said it will return to the original color after a few months, all I have to do is wait. But the stubborn me got insecure whenever I raise my hand so I decided to buy a bleaching cream from unknown brand and applied it for two days. Worst thing happened, my underarm experienced itching and peeling and the color was still the same. After this incident, I just waited for the original color to come back and yes it did! 

     Fast forward, three years ago I discovered my HG antiperspirant and deodorant, it's from a well known brand that's popular to be hypo-allergenic and great for sensitive skin. But because I'm embracing natural and organic skin care now, I think now is the time to try an all natural whitening, antiperspirant and deodorant that promises promising benefits.      Most common among the problems one encounters when using a deodorant are having stains left on the fabric of their clothing after use. A deodorant can cause two types of stains on clothing. The white marks that appear on dark textiles immediately after application are mostly residues of the antiperspirant salts used in the deodorant, which may be a temporary annoyance, but can be generally washed out without too much difficulty. 

     The cause of the second type of stain – yellowish stains in the underarm area on light fabrics – don’t appear immediately after deodorant is applied but often after several washes. Sample Room Experience + First Haul for 2013

     Happy weekend guys! We're fortunate that beauty comes in boxes now. I mean we can try beauty, skin care, wellness products and everything in between with these beauty subscription boxes. I presume that you all know these beauty boxes and had subscribe from them depending on your preferences. It boom last year around August if I'm not mistaken but I'm contemplating which box to get. The price ranges from 400-500 php for a month of subscription,  you'll get different variety of beauty and skin care items, some are samples while others are full-sized ones. 

     I've joined the club now! Finally got my first beauty product sample from Sample Room. I will not get into full details of SR since beauty bloggers already discussed everything on their blogs. I will just share my experience and how considerate they were because my first transaction from them was cancelled and it's my fault. I'm lucky that they'll going to return the first 70 points that I used and wasn't able to pay the shipping on time and totally forgot my order. I used my remaining points to purchase this...

     This is what I ordered from the remaining points that I have. I have read all the reviews from SR that's why I'm convinced that Gluta-C is effective in terms of lighten dark marks and spots. I'm not sure if I'll use this on my underarm, I'm planning to use a little of this on my freckles and I hope this will work there too.

     So now to my haul, basically these are products that I already use everyday. Nothing new except the Nichido Mineral Concealer that I will use as an eyeliner for my waterlines and the HBC Keratin Hot Oil Treatment that was always OOS. I was intrigued months ago why among the DIY hair care treatments from HBC this is always OOS. Now I can try this and see what's the rave about :) I also bought this top from a shop near our subdivision selling factory priced clothing from Lee and Jag. Got this for 50& off the tag! But it's to tight for me, I need to lose weight before I can wear this confidently.  The Tony Moly 7 Day Eyebrow Tattoo is the bomb!!! I will muse everything about it on my next post. I really LOVE LOVE it!!! It's the cheaper version of K-Palette (I guess) :D

She's very shy to use this because of the word blogger written on it. Thank you so much Krystal! I'm also shy to wear this even if this is the craft that I love doing. I don't want others to misinterpret me wearing those earrings. But if I'm with blogger friends, I'll wear it because I'm sure they'll understand me 100%

     Last August 28 Ms. Lhen Hasal of Ogilvy Public Relations Manila invited me to experience a night that will showcase the launch of Dove's new line of underarm product. Filled with fun and laughter, Dove introduced this promising deodorant together with Upstart Productions through Unspeakably Yours: The Underarm Monologues. 

     I arrived just in time and was amazed by the set-up of the place. Free flowing champagne and a sumptuous dinner was served before the play started. I don't have any idea what this monologue's all about. I must admit that I'm not the type who will reserve a seat just to watch theatrical shows. I'd rather go clubbin' or spend the night chillin' with my friends and siblings but after seeing the energetic, talented and gorgeous ladies I said to myself that I need to make this a new hobby! I'm so impressed with their performance and felt goosebumps while they deliver their lines. I really enjoyed the night and amazed with the performance. I went home empowered saying A-WOmen!      Dove Deodorant recently collaborated with Upstart Productions to present Unspeakably Yours: The Underarm Monologues. Inspired by stories from real women, this original outspoken comedy explores views on an intimate part of the body that females love to hate and hate to love: their underarms.

     Beauty and Underarms rarely go together. In fact, women rarely talk about underarms, and women talk about everything. This is because many Filipinas are unhappy with their underarms: dark spots, chicken skin, odor and rough patches – real issues, but hardly the things you’d want to talk about over coffee. Still, real women, their issues, frustrations & joys, have always been Dove’s advocacy, so the idea of starting a conversation about one of the least talked about body parts stemmed out – what if your underarms could talk?
