Product Review: Physiogel Cleanser

Friday, February 20, 2015

When Kenzo was still a baby, I'm delighted to touch his soft, smooth, and supple skin. He had no other skin-related problems or pediatric skin infections that some mothers always complain. I make that I use gentle, fragrance-free cleansers, soaps and body wash. I'm loyal to a famous brand of baby soap and body wash until last year when the soap and the body wash wasn't able to deliver its promise in their gently cleanses without drying the skin battle cry.

Anyhoo, I'm not ditching that brand. I think it's because the weather is erratic and colder months made Kenzo's skin extra dry than the usual. After taking a bath, I can see him scratching his legs while complaining that it started to itch. When I touched his legs, it feels tight and looks rough. Dry skin it is! I did not worry because I have the solution on how to combat dry skin. PHYSIOGEL Cleanser to the rescue! I have stocks of this hypoallergenic skin care line. From cleansers to cream and lotions, glad that I have kept a few bottles inside my closet. The products was given as a token from previous events that I've attended. So without further ado, here's my honest to goodness review of PHYSIOGEL Cleanser as per Kenzo's experience :) Click CONTINUE READING and discover how to make skin less sensitive and dry.

Product Review: Skin Beautanicals Organic Arbutin Soap with Argan Oil

Monday, January 19, 2015

I've been suffering from dry and flaky skin for months now. It started last December because of the cold weather. I'm used to this condition and I'm sure that I'm not alone. The colder the weather, the drier the skin because the humidity level (moisture in the air) tends to be lower than the usual during cold months. So it's not an excuse to ditch the moisturizers even if you have normal skin/oily skin types during cold months cause your skin will be needing it too.

Aside from creams and lotions that contain moisturizers, we also need to look for a soap or body wash that will help lock in moisture in our skin after taking a bath. Beauty oils are in the limelight of skin care nowadays. From rosehips-tea tree-grapeseed-olive-jojoba-sunflower-camellia-marula to argan oil, name it and I'm sure beauty gurus around the globe have tried a couple of them. Morrocan Argain Oil is the "liquid gold" for dry hair and dry skin. Skin Beautanicals by Jianne Skin Essentials sent me their Organic Arbutin Soap with Argan Oil to try and after using the soap for more than a month, I'm ready to share my thoughts about it. Product Review: Dial Coconut Water Soap and Body Wash

Tuesday, December 30, 2014

Hello dearies! Before 2014 ends, I would like to share with you another review of skin care products that made into the fambam's essentials. If you love reading my soap reviews I presume you already know that I don't like strong scented soaps. I have very sensitive nose and overpowering scent tends to make me nauseous inside the bathroom. Anyhoo, I received a couple of body bars and body washes from Dial Philippines. They made a big comeback this last quarter and took social media by storm. I mean, everyone's raving this household brand's new variant and almost all who received full-sized samples from AMPR fell in love with the sweet scent of coconut water.

To tell you honestly, I'm so sad that I wasn't able to stand the sweet scent of Dial Coconut Water soap, I find it too strong BUT the hubby and my siblings soo liking both. If it's possible for you to visit our house and my parents house, I'm pretty sure you'll see Dial Coconut Water Soap inside our bathrooms :) So this review will be based on the hubby's experience about the soap. He already finished 2 body bars and 1 body wash :) To know more about the products, click CONTINUE READING please!

Product Review: Glupa Glutathione+Papaya Soap

Thursday, December 04, 2014

I've tried a lot of whitening soaps sold in the market today. If you're a lurker in this blog, prolly you know that I've switched to organic soaps for the sake of my sensitive skin. I'm fair already, to begin with, whitening soaps either lighten skin blemishes that I get from pimple marks, insect bites or minor wounds like paper cut or from unconsciously scratching my skin while sleeping. I use whitening soap to maintain or even out my skin tone because there are times that I'm always out running errands in the afternoon. A change in a tone like one shade lighter is a bonus for me and it only means that the soap is very effective. For reference, I'm NC 15-20 in MAC.

Anyhoo, I was invited by Age Defy Solutions the makers of Glupa products to an intimate gathering of beauty bloggers months ago. They gave us full-sized samples of their skin care products to try. The first product that I'm giddy to road test was the Glupa soap. I got intrigued with this whitening soap because the endorser is Boy Abunda. It is also a whitening soap that contains a powerful combination of glutathione and papaya. After a month of using the soap, here's my honest to goodness review of Glupa (Glutathione + Papaya) soap. Click CONTINUE READING and find out my experience.
